As they stepped outside the house that was t'only safety they had from the infected ones and the madness that was going on. There brain refused to believe what their eyes saw. The place that was onces filled with children playing, everyone doing their bussineses, roads filled with passing cars.....was non other then a wreck....The place looked wrecked and abadoned of any sign of life.....'What happened here ?' We were in the house for just some hours ! This place.....wha... Its looks abandoned and destroyed' Alex thought. There was so much going on inside of her mind that all she can do was juat stand there and examine her surrounding as if no one ever been in this very neighborhood.

...After a few minutes of processing everything Alex and the girls came to their senses "We have to....get moving...its not safe here while we are standing outside of the house"Alex said "But we were in the house for only few hours I guess or even minutes ...... How could this happen outside??? And we didn't hear any sound " Jay asked not believing any of the scene. "Aaaaa the house in sound proof ..... And I mean ....literally sound proof" Alex told them feeling awkward that her house is completely sound proof." We should get going...its not safe standing here and talking....who knows a thing....a Infected might come out of anywhere and attack us.....How far is your house from here Al ? " She asked Al as the thought came to her " ummmmm probably 40 minutes if we go there walking and 30 or less if by a car" Al told Alex while estimating the exact time in her head.Alex nodded and told them to follow her. They went back to the garage "Why I am such an idiot !!! I didn't think of the car" she said while shaking her head.There was a SUV parked in the garage and they went to sit in and Alex went to the driving seat. She carefully pumped the engine and enabled the GPS. After everything was set, she carefully reversed,the car out of the garage and after taking a deep breath they went toward Al's home.

Everyone in the car was sitting quite. No one dared to talk or do something else. They sat in their places cautiously paying their attention to the surrounding as if something will attack them if they took their eyes off the road.

The girls were worried for their families. Non of them saw them since morning. All they did was praying silently for them to be safe & unharmed. On the other hand, Alex was worried about her mother & Ella. She was worried about her father too but not as much as she was for the other two because she knew that her father can kick some ass on his own while those two are fragile & unarmed. The worries were eating her away but she didn't show it because the girls were more afraid of the situation than her, she could clearly see that.

Al's house was 30 minutes away when suddenly the car stopped. "What the hell", Alex said quizzically trying to switch the engine on again & again. "What happened ?!" "Why did the car ....stopped" "Is there any of that Thing in our way or.....under the car ?!?" Everyone started asking question in panic except Jas who was sitting calmly during this situation. "NO !!! ....no there is no Thing in our "way" or ...."under" the car....... Damn it !!!" Alex suddenly said while banging the steering loudly. "Empty ..........the fuel tank is empty". She told the girls still banging the steering loudly and harder in anger. Everyone groaned in annoyance and mumbled something under their breath. "Does the tank have  to be empty right now ! In the middle if the silent streets", Jas said while grumbling something else and hitting her head on window dramatically.

Alex chuckled after a while "Hah such a movie scene", remembering the scenes where the car full of passengers abruptly stops in the middle of nowhere in horror movies. The girl getting what she was saying, had same expressions on their faces ,grinning like idiots & they laughed together cherishing their memories together.

"Anyways.......its like Al's house is ....30 min away from here now, so we're going ....on foot from here",
They all nodded & picked their things. The girls listened to everything Alex said because they knew she was smart & whatever plan she will make would be for their own good & they trusted her 'cause that's what friend do .....they Trust each other blindly.

Hey there everyone !!! Hope y'all are healthy !
Ummm I uploaded the chapter after sooo many months 'cause I thought 'I can't write a story. I am not a writer . I don't even correctly know how to write a short story least a big one & I don't even know how to use the elegant vocabulary like others' ... If your reading this note then please tell if I am writing alright or not and whatever suggestions you want to give. That will help me to write good each time and upload as much quick as I can :).... BTW Thanks for the ... I guess views ..... :)
