Chapter 10 - "No!"
Bendy's POV:
A shadowed figure stood in front of the surgical table, scalpel covered in so much ink that it was practically black. I watched all this, already knowing who it was.
"Joey! How could you!?"
The man turned, a dyslexic smile plastered on his face. He glared at me with a malicious glint in his eyes, a look in which I didn't like. Behind him, a wolf was cut open, rib cage exposed. This wolf just happened to be my now dead friend.
"Bendy, you don't understand," Joey faced me completely, Boris's still pulsing heart in his hand.
"Yes, I do!" I growled. "I understand that you killed my best friend! I understand that you're a monster! I understand that--" I was at a loss for words when Joey squeezed the heart, crushing it into nothing but vomit-smelling liquid. He snorted and watched the fluid drip in between his fingers, staining the palm of his hand. He then flashed a wider, creepier grin my way.
"You're next, my cartoon devil," he cooed, pointing the surgical tool at me.
"No!" I yelped, backing up. I felt my back side touch the wall, and I knew I was cornered. Joey was advancing on me, still smiling, but shaking his head in the process.
"That was a foolish move on your part, Bendy," he cooed. "Now you have to die. I truly apologize for what I am about to do--"
"No you don't!" I snapped, ink tears sliding down my cheeks. "You never cared about us! You were just focused on appeasing some fake Gods that don't even exist!"
I realized I had hit a nerve when Joey flinched, his smile fading as he bared pearly white teeth. His hand immediately reached for where my throat would've been, if I had been designed with one. Instead, it just slammed through the gap between my head and my body, scaring me immensely.
I looked into the eyes of the man in front of me. He was panting heavily, obviously insane. His eyes were wide as he grabbed me, holding my tail tauntingly in his grip. He held it in a way in which he could rip it out as he carried me into the Pentagram room. I struggled in his grip, but he delivered a warning tug to my tail.
Finally, Joey set me down in the middle of the big Pentagram, where the candles had been alight for the longest time. Joey made sure that I was still there, then he slowly dug the already dirty knife into my stick-like arms. I yelped as he cut them off, slowly and painfully. He then worked at my feet, finally ripping off my bow tie and tearing it to shreds. By now I was just a torso and a head, which wasn't very useful. I stared at my one prized possession, the only thing I had grown to love that was on my body. The ripped pieces of my bow tie only fueled my anger and sorrow, but I couldn't do anything about it.
Joey then used the dangerous tool to cut through my torso, exposing my ribs and heart. He smiled and then moved the knife to my eyes, piercing through one of them and making me blind in that one. I was still able to watch what he was doing with the other, though.
He used the blade of the tool to cut around the bottom of the heart, trying to pull it out of my body. It was working, except it was hard for Joey to separate it from me. I was going through all the pain as this was happening, crying with both my eyes. The heart was still attached to me, but only slightly. I was somehow still alive and suffering through all of this. Joey growled and yanked the organ out of me, crushing it as my world flicked to black.
*
I sat up straight, panting heavily. Ink was dripping from my forehead, showing that I was anxious. "It was a dream..." I tried calming myself. "It was only a dream..."
I then turned and saw who was sleeping next to me. (Y/n) looked so beautiful with her (h/c) colored hair and long lashes. I smiled slightly, then got up, deciding I needed some time to myself. I decided to sing a song, as I loved performing, and it had been a while since I had done so. Careful not to disturb Boris or (Y/n), I exited the room, making sure Boris didn't see where I was headed. I quickly ran to the Recording Booth, the one in which Susie would record her lines in. I turned on the microphone, which was slightly staticky, but it worked. I started singing a song that just came to me, one that reflected on how I was feeling.
"We were playing in the sand, and you found a little band. You told me you fell in love with it, hadn't gone as I planned..." I sung softly.
"When you had to bid adieu, said you'd never love anew, I wondered if I could hold it and fall in love with it too..." I was on the verge of tears at this part.
"You told me to buy a pony, but all I wanted was you. Mmmmmmmm," I hummed whimsically.
"Woah," I suddenly heard a familiar voice breathe. I blushed and turned, looking at the person there.
I mentally face palmed myself, thinking that this should've been an obvious con to singing in the middle of the... I don't even know what time it is anymore!
(Y/n) was staring at me, her eyes wide and a sheepish blush on her face.
