Adrian POV:

I found myself in a dream about the moment I began my investigation into what happened to Dad. I was only 12 at the time, but I figured it was a better way to spend summer break than to get ripped on by strangers and pricks from school. I was on a bus and heading to Bright Falls, until it broke down and everyone was told to get out and wait for repairs. I then heard a voice \ calling for me. I could hear words, but I still heard its message.

I began following it and had to trek through the forest and saw multiple people in white suits investigating something that happened recently. On the vans, I saw a logo that I would remember for years.

Adrian: Federal Bureau of Control?

I heard the calling once again and snuck away from the area. The voice comes from a strange structure that looks like part of a tower. I enter it and open the door inside. It reveals a strange all and I continue following the voice.

Adrian: Who are you?

I look outside and see a blood-red full moon in the same-colored sky. I keep following the voice until I end up in a chamber that shows an entity that seems to be in a constantly moving motion.

Adrian: Prometheus? Is that what you are called?

Prometheus: (Unintelligible)

Adrian: You can help me? Can you help me find my dad?

Prometheus: (Unintelligible)

Adrian: And much more? Then please show me.

I reach my hand toward him and feel him entering my body. I wake up and find myself back in my bed. I turn to see that I woke up 5 minutes before my alarm went off.

Adrian: How I first met you. Was that a Place of Power? How did you end up in there?

Prometheus: (Unintelligible)

Adrian: We need to work on your sense of humor.

The alarm goes off and I push the button to silence it. I get off my bed and go to the bathroom to freshen up. I can see my hair has been disheveled due to me moving around in my sleep. After fixing that, I brush my teeth thoroughly in a routine that a friend of my mom knew. I then went to put on my uniform and left my room to head to class. I like to get up and head out early as I thought it'd be better than doing it when everyone is busy. It might just be a habit, but I still find it helpful.

I go to class where Nekonome is giving one of her lessons and I pay attention to it as I write in my notebook. After that I had to deal with Math taught by Ririko Kagome. She is clearly passionate about math and is glad to be teaching it, but I can sense sadism coming from her. Good thing I pay attention whether I find it boring or not. In English, I got a little praise for understanding the book we were reading that since stories are kind of my specialty in a way.

When all that was over I walk to the Newpaper club's room with Tsukune and Moka.

Moka: Wow Adrian, you were amazing in English!

Tsukune: Yeah! I know you said before that you were good with books, but you are really good.

Adrian: You guys don't need to praise me. I just like reading and writing.

We go to the club room where we all take our seats. Nekonome comes in and puts her stuff down.

Tsukune: Hey, where's Kurumu?

Suddenly, Kurumu appears and wraps her arms around my head and pulls me into her chest.

Adrian: (Muffled) Found her.

Kurumu: Sorry I took so long, I lost track of time.

Moka: *Sigh* Of course you did.

Nekonome: Well then, thank you everyone for joining my club! So let's begin the club activites for the Yokau Academy Newspaper Club!

We all look around and see that no one else is here.

Tsukune: Sensei... I just fell into this club and I don't know anything about it, but... Is it really just us four?

Nekonome: Don't be silly!

???: Excuse me.

Nekonome: See, here he comes, the only other member.

???: Man, I'm sorry! Here I am, late on the first day.

A man with a headband steps in hodling two bouquet of roses.

???: Greetings. I'm the president of this newspaper club, Morioka Ginei. Pleased to meet ya!

Ginei hands Moka and Kurumu the flowers and while Moka blushed a little, Kurumu keeps holding onto Adrian and drops the flowers.

Nekonome: Gin-kun is the only 2nd year club member. Just ask him anything you don't know about this club, okay?

Gin: Heh, you can always count on me.

Kurumu hugs me tighter in response to that statment.

Kurumu: Adrian, I'm not very good with this kind of flirty guy!

Nekonome: Well, I must be going. I have staff meeting. Take care of the rest of the club proceeding, Gin-kun.

Gin: Okay, leave it to me

Nekonome: See you later everyone! Make friends with your senpai, OK!

Gin: Hmm, well let's see. First I'll give you the explanation of just what kinda club this is! The goal of the newspaper club is to publish the school newspaper! Most of your activities will reporting on all kinds of things within the academy and putting them in the newspaper! We'll be put into dangerous situations time after time for the sake of reporting!! I'll tell you right now, this ain't going to be easy!! Once you've joined, you should prepare yourself.

Everyone expect me is surprised by Ginei's enthusiasm. But I know this club isn't that serious.

Moka: He seems like... someone we can depend on, right?

Tsukune: Huh? Oh yeah...

Adrian (Thoughts): Three. Two. One.

Gin: Just messing with ya! Let's have some fun without all the strict talk.

Gin holds up a poster of Nekonome on it promoting the Yokai Newspaper.

Gin: This is our poster AD, let's put it up on the back wall! Adrian and Tsukune, go put some out in the hall.

Prometheus: (Unintelligible)

Adrian (Thoughts): Yeah. I sense something shady about him too.

Tsukune and I go out into the hall and put some posters around before we go back to the classroom.

Moka: Ginei, is this high enough to stick to posters?

Gin: No, just a bit higher!

Moka: What, even higher

Ginei: Yeah! Much, much higher!!

Why the hell is does Gin need those that high? No one's going to be able to see them. Then I look to see him crouch and lookin up the girls' skirts. I feel my blood boiling, I pull out the Process of Elimination and aim it at Gin. However, Tsukune grabs my hand and tries to keep ot from being noticed.

Tsukune: Are you crazy?! You brought that to the academy?! You can't just shoot at people.

Adrian: Well Gin is being a total degenerate.

Tsukune: I'll handle it! Just put that thing away before someone gets hurt! And wash your hands before someone sniffs them! Everyone here appearently has a good sense of smell.

I scoff and put the gun away before rubbing my hands with hand sanitizer.

Tsukune: Gin! What are you doing!? Please stop! Are you really making them put the poster high up on purpose so you can do this!?

Gin: Huh? What are you talking about?

Tsukune: Please don't pretend you don't know! You were just looking up their skirts weren't you?

Gin: Heh, nonsense! There's no way I'm that kind of guy who'd do something so lame.

Moka and Kurumu get off the chairs and wonder what's going on.

Moka: Oh, well, these dudes... say they got an eyeful of your panties.

Tsukune: No! It was you who was...

Moka and Kurumu are shocked but Kurmu looks at Adrian for a few seconds and she begins to pout.

Kurumu: As if. Adrian isn't that type of guy, he'd never do something like that.

Gin: What makes you say that?

Kurumu: He and I are love at first sight. And his spirit is unwavering.

Moka however, slaps Tsukune and ends up leaving a red mark on his cheek before running out. Ginei leaves and Tsukune remains shocked.

Adrian: Uh, Tsukune, we're heading back to the dorms. Take care.

I didn't really know what else to say at the moment. I leave with Kurumu and soon she drags me to the pond near the school. She brings out a bag of cookies and has a big smile on her face.

Kurumu: Adrian, sit down and try these cookies I made. I poured my heart into making these for you.

Adrian: Sure, Kurumu.

I sit down and let Kurumu feed me her cookies. I'm not going to lie, they're pretty good. I haven't really eaten any cookies that weren't at a convenience store.

Kurumu: How are they Adrian?

Adrian: They're amazing. I'm not sure I've eaten cookies this good before.

Kurumu: Really? I'm happy! Would you like it if I made more for you?

Adrian: I'd like it.

Kurumu then hugs me and kisses me on the cheek.

"What the Hell!"

We heard someone yelling and look around but find nothing.

Adrian: Who said that?

Kurumu: Probably just one of the boys in school jealous at what they're seeing.

Adrian: I guess. But that voice sounded familiar.

Unknown to them, Gin was hiding behind one of the trees and watching them. He shows a look of displeasure on his face before leaving. Adrian and Kurumu go back to their dorms and their rooms. Adrian pulls out his notebook and begins writing his "The Academy of Night" book.

"Vincent got on a bus that trove through a tunnel. But what was at the other end wasn't New York. It was a place of mystery and though the sun was there, it gave a feeling that envelops you when walking alone at night. He walks along a path in a forest filled with dead trees and the only birds that sang were crows."

Adrian: I took a month, but I finally managed to get through the first two chapters.

Prometheus: (Unintelligible)

Adrian: Yeah, I can feel it too. How that bus driver described it is a massive understatement. And yes, I know you are still referring to Gin.

I lie down on my bed and close my eyes. I soon drift into sleep and find myself in a memory of when I was investigating Mom's storage unit. I hear a camera going off and I decide to check it out. The door suddenly pulls itself up before I even grab the handle. I go inside and the door closes behind me. The room suddenly turns into a large area with a desert, a forest, an island, and an arctic. I then see a polaroid camera in the center on top of a structure with strange material.

Adrian: What's happening here? Is that Mom's old Polaroid Camera?

Prometheus: (Unintelligible)

Adrian: Pacify it?

Prometheus: (Unintelligible)

Adrian: Before it causes more problems? Okay.

Multple cubes appear and form paths around the place. I get on them and run toward the Polaroid Camera, but when it turns and takes a picture of me, I end up in another area and have to keep moving. I figured out how to use the camera when I come across a dead end for parts of the paths. It took a good hour, but I finally reach to where the camera was. I climb onto the platforms and see the camera in reach.

Adrian: So I just hold my hands out and "calm" this thing down?

Prometheus: (Unintelligible)

Adrian: Alright. Here goes nothing.

I aim my hands at the camera and I focus Prometheus' essence into it. It was a bit of a struggle, but I pacify it and end up returning everything to normal. I also felt some of whatever took over the camera come into me.

Adrian: Well, that takes care of that.

Prometheus: (Unitelligible)

Adrian: "Jump" back home? You serious? Okay, I guess.

I think of my room and suddenly end up there. I am surprise that I ended up in my room in an instant.

Adrian: Well, I guess I can save a lot on travel from now on.

I then open my eyes and find that morning has come. Strange, I've never liked sleeping at night. But ever since I got here, I've been sleeping at the end of every day. But how's mom doing? I hope she's okay. I know that she's been trying to sleep with the lights on whenever night comes.

I put on my uniform and start heading to class. I see Tsukune trying to talk to Moka who is still upset about what happened yesterday.

Tsukune: Moka I swear, what happend yesterday was an accident!

Moka: It doesn't matter, I don't know you any more!

Tsukune is clearly in shock at Moka's words. I then "Jump" in front of her while she was walking.

Moka: Adrian! Uh, what do you need?

Adrian: Moka Gin was the one being a perv, not Tsukune. Who the hell asks for posters to be put that high.

Moka just walks past me.

Moka: Look, I'm not going to spend forever not talking to Tsukune, but I want revenge for the peeping. And if you have proof it was Gin, then show men when you get it.

Adrian: Ugh... girls.

I continue walking to the academy and go to class. Afterward, I see Gin waiting in the hallway. I know that he has something planned for me.

Gin: Adrian, just the guy I wanted to see. There's something I need to show you.

Adrian: Don't we have to be in the club room soon?

Gin: Everyone will catch up with us. Just follow me.

I do what he says and follow him. He takes me out to the back of the academy.

Adrian: Where is everybody?

Gin: They'll here soon.

Gin stops and looks at me.

Gin: Adrian, there's something I need help with. Something that I can only trust you with.

Adrian: And what is that?

Gin: I need you to take a look into that window.

Adrian: You serious?

Gin: Yes.

Adrian: *Sigh* Alright.

I start walking, but use my Stopwatch O.o.P. to stop time and climb onto the top of the building. I grab a slightly large block that I took from the Astral Plane and position it above Gin. I then climb back down and go back to the spot and position I was originally in before I deactivated my power. Time resumes and the block falls onto Gin, knocking him out.

Adrian (thoughts): Good thing you can adjust the size of this piece of Astral Material.

Prometheus shrinks the Astral Block to a size I can hold with my hand and I put it back in my backpack. I walk away as I return to the club room and continue writing "The Academy of Night". Writing the events in a way to distance away from the truth is difficult compared to making the whole thing up. But I am probably just as inspired as Dad was when he was writing his Alex Casey books.

The protagonist of The Academy of Night will be Micheal, a fifteen-year-old boy who was invited to attend a prestigious bording school. He soon discovers clues leading to why his father disappeared after he was born. Like I said, I'm writing it to make it distant from the truth.

I hear someone coming and put away my notebook. The door opens and reveals Kurumu and Tsukune with worried expressions.

Adrian: What's wrong?

Tsukune: It's Moka. She's in danger!

I decide to "Jump" to the roof and see Moka and Gin there. Gin is trying to hit on Moka and he clearly is not going to accept her rejection of his advances. She even throws the picture that Gin took during the moment he clearly tricked Tsukune.

Moka: Adrian told me that Tsukune didn't mean to do it and that you were the one who was peeping yesterday. So rather than this picture, I want to believe Tsukune and Adrian!.

Gin: Are you serious? How admirable! I'm falling for you harder and harder, Moka-san...

Gin slowly changes into a werewolf.

Gin: But I told ya... right? That on nights with a full moon, my self control weakens. When my emotions excite me so much... I suddenly lose control over myself!

Moka: Senpai?

Gin: Then I'll make you my woman by force, Moka Akashiya.

Gin tries to attack Moka, but Adrian wraps his chains around his arms to restrain him.

Moka: Adrian?

Gin: What the hell are you doing here?!

Adrian: Just when I thought you couldn't be an even bigger piece of shit.

Kurumu appears with Tsukune and puts him on the roof.

Tsukune: Wait!

Moka: Tsukune! Kurumu!

Gin: Weren't you locked up?

Tsukune: Kurumu rescued me!

Kurumu: No one believed me but I saw it! Gin was calling Tsukune over, and after that, I saw him make Tsukune peep!

Gin: Damn! How dare you all get in the way of our special moment.

Adrian: Is that what you're calling your sexual offense?

Gin: Back the fuck off!

Gin breaks free of the chains and howls as Tsukune runs toward Moka to protect her.

Tsukune: I've got to save Moka!

Kurumu: Tsukune! Wait, it's dangerous!! A werewolf and a vampire are both equally strong monsters! Even if she does attack him directly, her chances are...

I stop time and pulls out Sunglasses so I can put them on. It's an Object of Power that can allow me to see into the future. Though not all details will be clear. I see the events that will happen with Gin tripping Tsukune and attempting to kill him. I go to Tsukune and push him near moka so that he can grab her rosary.

I go back to where I was previously standing and resume time. Tsukune ends up grabs the rosary and pulls it off. Moka's true self emerges as the supernatural energy surrounds the area.

Gin: What... what is this?

Kurumu: The rosary on Moka came off. Was that just by chance that the seal was broken?! And how did Tsukune appear right next to Moka.

Gin: Red Eye... Could it be? Could it be that she's a...

Adrian: Vampire? Hell yes. That's her true form.

Gin: Heh. This is her true form, eh? Hahaha! Awesome! Even afer trasnforming, you are sill beautiful, Moka Akashiya! I could care less that you're a vampire! I will definitely defeat you and make you my woman!

Gin pounces at Moka, but she dodges him. I stop time once more to use my chains to go through the floor and restrain Gin. I resume time and he is now in shock at his predicament.

Gin: What the hell! When did this happen!? Let me go!

Moka walks toward Gin with her maintaining her prideful aura.

Inner Moka: You are trash that shouldn't mess around me.

Gin: I can still break through these chains and make you my woman, Moka.

Moka kicks Gin and sends him through the railings. The chains also break through the floor, but Moka slams them down, along with Gin.

Inner Moka: Weakling! Did you really think someone like yourself was fit to be with me? Realize your place!

Tsukune: Is he going to be okay?

Adrian: Do you really care about how he is after what he did?

Tsukune: I don't really know.

Inner Moka: Tsukune, if you're going to make a pass at me, you had better preapre your body first.

Moka grabs the rosary and puts it back on, reverting her to her other self. All of us leave the roof and go back to the dorms. I guess a werewolf trying to get one of the main characters would be interesting. But I'm going to keep out the whole peeping misunderstanding part. I don't think anyone needs to know that.

The next day, we were handing out newspapers about Gin's activities and cleared up the misunderstanding Tsukune got caught in.

Tsukune: I never though this would be the job we'd do when we joined the newspaper club.

Adrian: Same. But hey, that's life for you. Always unpredictable.

Tsukune: (Chuckle) You can say that again.

Gin is being chased by the women that found out he was the one peeping and still claiming that he can make Moka his.

Adrian: Oh brother.

Kurumu: Yeah, for real.

Kurumu holds my hand and though I was caught off guard, I accepted it.
