No POV:

Adrian was on the bus, still listening to his music and keeping a blank look. He noticed the other student sitting in front of him. The student was looking out the window with uncertainty all over his face.

Adrian: 'Bus rides don't bother me. When I started my investigation, I took buses left and right. Luckily I got the Polaroid OoP on my way to Bright Falls, so that saves me a lot of money for future travel'.

Bus Driver: You two are... students enrolling at Yokai Academy?

???: Ah, Yeah

Adrian: ...

Bus Driver: In that case, you'd both best prepare yourselves now. Hehehehe. Once we come out of this tunnel, we'll be right in front of the school.

The Bus Driver laughed and caused the boy to shiver a little while Adrian didn't give any reaction. Soon they entered a bizarre world that gave a dark vibe, as every tree was dead and twisted.

Bus Driver: Hehehe... We've arrived

Adrian felt the bus stopped and wasn't bothered by the strange world he had entered. He grabbed his bag and walked off the bus with the brown-haired boy. The moment they got off, the bus left and the other boy was creeped out while Adrian was looking down at a piece of paper.

Adrian: Classes start in half an hour

???: HOW ARE YOU NOT BOTHERED BY THIS!?!?

Adrian removed his headphones and looked at the other boy.

Adrian: Oh... Hi.

???: How are so calm with all this?

The boy extended his hand out to Adrian.

???: Well, hi. I'm Tsukune Aono.

Adrian: Adrian Wake.

Adrain shook his hand before walking ahead of Tsukune.

Tsukune: Sounds American.

Adrian: That's cause I am.

Tsukune: Oh. Well, it's a good thing I'm not alone in this place.

Adrain: Believe me when I say I've seen creepier places than this.

Tsukune breaks a sweat before being startled by the crows above them flying off and cawing.

???: COMING THROUGH!!!

Adrian and Tsukune look behind and see a pink-haired girl riding an out-of-control bike and ends up hitting Tsukune.

Adrian: That's gotta hurt.

Tsukune attempts to get up and ends up putting his hand on the girl's thigh as Adrain kept walking.

Adrian: 'I'll let them and their "fated encounter" be'.

Adrian continued down the path and saw the school come closer. Adrian sees the school and notices the large bells that are part of its architecture.

Adrian: Looks like a cathedral and a large mansion. I guess I do fit with the rest of the place.

Adrian looks at his paper and sees his classroom number on it. Adrian to room 163 and takes a seat. Tsukune arrives soon and takes his seat as well.

???: Hello everyone and welcome to Yokai Academy. I'm your homeroom teacher, Shizuka Nekonome.

A cheerful blonde woman stood in front of the whole class as Tsukune and Adrian watched.

Nekonome: I think you already know this but... this is... A school built for the sake of monsters to attend!

Tsukune was in a state of confusion at what Nekonome was saying while Adrian kept his blank expression.

Nekonome: The Earth has already come under the control of the humans! in order for us monsters to survive, we have no choice but to continue to peacefully coexist with the humans. At this academy, you will be studying how to exist with humans!

Tsukune was panicking over what Nekonome was cheerfully explaining.

Tsukune (Thoughts): MONSTERS!?!? WHAT IS SHE SAYING!?!? WHAT IS THIS TEACHER SAYING!?!?

Adrian (Thoughts): A teacher that likes her job. That's a first for me.

Nekonome: For that reason, our school rule is for all of you to live your lives at this academy in human form! Do you understand? It's a matter of being able to disguise yourself well as a human! This is a foundation of coexistence. You are never to allow any of your fellow students to know your "True Form". Understand?

A delinquent student with slick hair spoke up.

???: Hey teacher! wouldn't it be better for us to eat up those puny humans? And in case of beautiful human girls, molest them.

Tsukune got goosebumps all over him while Adrain remained calm since Nekonome told everyone to remain in their human forms.

Nekonome: Oh, incidentally, here at Yokai Academy, the teachers and students are all monsters. There are no humans here.

???: Huh? Really? Cause this puny-looking guy here looks way too much like a human.

The delinquent looked at Adrian with a glare while Adrian was just annoyed.

Adrian: Mind your own business.

???: Scuse me!

The door opened showing the girl Tsukune bumped into earlier.

???: After the entrance ceremony I kinda got lost in the school... Sorry I'm late.

Nekonome: Oh, that's fine, just take a seat.

All the boys except Adrian and Tsukune were in an uproar seeing the girl's beauty. She was uncomfortable with all the boys looking at her but smiled upon seeing Tsukune and immediately tackled him with a hug.

???: TSUKUNE!!! WE'RE IN THE SAME CLASS!!!

All the guys in class were immediately jealous while Adrian put his headphones back on as Nekonome continued what was expected of them. After class ends, Adrian walks out to get something to eat.

Tsukune: Adrian! Wait up!

Adrian turns around and sees Tsukune running toward him with the girl behind him.

Tsukune: Why'd you leave so quickly?

Adrian: I'm hungry.

???: Oh, you're that boy from earlier when I crashed into Tsukune! My name is Moka Akashiya, I'm a vampire.

Adrian: Adrian Wake. And aren't you supposed to keep your monster identity a secret?

Moka: Oh, that's right. My bad, I can't believe I let that slip out.

Moka rubbed the back of her head in embarrassment while Adrain just shrugged.

Adrian: No problem.

Moka: You don't have a problem with me being a vampire?

Adrian: No.

Moka smiles brightly before giving Adrian a big hug.

Moka: Does that mean we can be friends?

Moka released Adrian and the three continued to walk together but were interrupted by the delinquent form earlier.

???: Hmm, such a pretty one. You are called Moka Akashiya are you not!?!? I'm your classmate, Saizou Komiya! Salutations!

Saizou grabbed both Tsukune and Adrian's collars and lifted them up.

Saizou: By the way, why is a beautiful lady like yourself associating with guys like these?

Adrian: Let go.

Saizou let them go and got closer to Moka

Saizou: Wouldn't someone like me be far superior to those scummy guys? Why don't we go off somewhere, just the two of us, and have some fun?

Moka then grabbed Tsukune's hand and Adrian's sleeve, dragging them away with her.

Moka: Sorry, but I'm having fun with Tsukune and Adrian right now!

Moka dragged Tsukune and Adrian along to explore the rest of the campus.

Adrian: 'That guy is dangerous and obviously doesn't care about what Ms. Nekonome told us. I better keep them away from him.

At night, Adrian is in his dorm room which is roughly the same size as his bedroom in New York. Adrian put his stuff down before changing into comfortable clothes. He lies down on his bed as he thinks about everything that has happened today.

Adrian: I've seen creepier places, but this school is just as dangerous. I got the Objects of Power and their abilities, so it'd be easy for me to not be recognized as a human. Tsukune on the other hand is a regular human. I guess I'll just have to vouch for him. But if he decides to leave the academy then that's something I can't change. That Rosary on Moka. It feels like something's inside it. What do you think Prometheus?

Prometheus:

Adrian: I guess. See you in the morning.

Adrian turns off the lights and goes to sleep. He has a dream about him typing on a typewriter, and writing a book regarding the details of what just happened.

Morning

Adrian hears his alarm clock and turns it off. He gets dressed and puts back on the chains OoP. Adrian then heads for school. Adrian sees Tsukune with bags in his hands and heading in a different direction from the school. He decides to go check on him.

Tsukune: He smashed that concrete with his bare hands!

Adrian: Morning Tsukune

Tsukune is startled but calms down when he sees Adrian.

Tsukune: Ah! Oh, Adrian. Hey, are you also a human?

Adrian: Yep.

Tsukune sighs in relief.

Tsukune: Nice to know I'm not the only one in this situation. But I can't stay here. These monsters. They're going to kill me!

Adrian: What about Moka. You two were getting along pretty well yesterday. And she

Moka appears from behind and wraps her arms around them.

Moka: Morning Tsukune. Morning Adrian. If we don't hurry, we're going to be tardy.

Adrian: That would not do very well for us.

Tsukune backs away from Moka and gives a look of fear.

Moka: Tsukune? What's wrong?

Tsukune: I-I can't help it Moka. This school is just too scary! I want to go to a human school!

Adrian (Thoughts): So he planning leaving. I can't blame him though. He's not like me or the students that go here.

Moka's expression turns to shock at hearing Tsukune's words. She grabs his shoulders and gives a serious look.

Moka: No way, you can't go off to some human school. I hate those humans!

Tsukune: Huh!?

Adrian says nothing and just listens.

Moka: You know... I... I actually went to a human school up through middle school. I was isolated. None of those huamns believed in monsters, so I started thinking I was weird. That I was different from everyone. That it'd be better if I wasn't there. That it'd be better if I disappeared. It was so so tough. But you said it was all right even though you found out I'm a vampire and so... This has been the first time in my life that I haven't felt alone. I've got you two to thank for that. You both agreed to be my friends.

Tsukune looks down and Adrian knows that Tsukune is about to reveal the truth about himself.

Moka: You can't go Tsukune. Let's all study hard at this academy together.

Tsukune: If... If I said I was one of those hmans that you hate... Would you still stop me?

Moka freezes up hearing Tsukune's words and her eyes widen at the realization.

Moka: Huh?

Tsukune: I AM A HUMAN! Through some kind of mistake I ended up being let in this school, but I'm different from you.

Moka: N-no... There's no way a human can be here.

Moka backs away from Tsukune. Tsukune turns around and starts walking to the bus stop.

Tsukune: Moka... That look on your was because you realized I'm a human. That's right, I shouldn't even be here after all anyway.

Moka tries to grab Tsukune's shoulder.

Moka: I... Wait, really Tsukune!

Tsukune shakes Moka's hand off.

Tsukune: LET ME GO! YOU HATE HUMANS RIGHT!? OH AND EXCUSE ME FROM BEING A FRIEND TO A MONSTER!!

Tsukune runs off as Moka tries to call for him.

Moka: Tsukune!!! W-wait.

Moka realizes something and looks toward Adrian.

Moka: Adrian... Are you... Also... A human?

Adrian: I'm sorry for the isolation you faced due to those in the human world. I don't see you any differently. But since I'm human, I do understand if you don't want anything to do with me anymore.

Moka: A-Adrian... I...

Adrian: I'm not leaving this school. But if you hate me and don't want to be friends anymore, that's fine.

He just walks in the direction of the school. Adrian is about to pass the gate, until Prometheus speaks to him.

Prometheus:

Adrian: They're in trouble!

Adrian runs in the direction where I last saw Tsukune and Moka. On the the way, there was loud crashing noising coming from the same direction. Adrian arrive and saw Tsukune and Moka being attacked by a huge monster that resembles Saizou but it a long tongue. Adrian uses his chains to wrap around Saizou's arms to keep him from getting any closer to Moka and Tsukune. Saizou turns around and sees him holding the chains

Saizou: The fuck are you doing? You think these things are supposed to do something?

Adrian cause the chains to have spikes emerge and impale Saizou's arms.

Saizou: FUUUUUCK!!!!

Adrian then uses his Paranatural powers to swing Saizou around the trees and fling him away. But he know he's going to come back even more pissed.

Adrian: You two okay?

Tsukune: Sort of.

Moka: Thank you.

Adrian: That's not going going to keep him down.

Moka: Tsukune... Adrian... I'm so sorry. I guess Humans and Monsters are too different, aren't they.

Adrian looks at Moka in confusion and Tsukune does the same as Moka keeps talking.

Moka: Because I'm a Vampire, I suck blood out of humans and just end up hurting them. The truth is the whole time... I just felt like I wanted to make a friend even if it was just at a human school. But I guess it's impossible, since I caused Tsukune to get hurt. And now I got you involved in this Adrian.

Saizou roars and comes crashing into the ground. Saizou breaths angerly as the puncture wounds the Chains O.o.P. caused are bleeding.

Saizou: When I'm through with you, you'll be begging for me to kill you!

Tsukune grabs Moka's shoulder and tries to get up.

Tsukune: S... Surely... I'm a... Weak... Worthless guy... Moka.

Moka: Tsukune!

Adrian: Just take it easy.

Tsukune: No. Because I realized that running back home and parting with you two like that was stupid. Because I want to be Moka's friend. Even if she's a Vampire, I like her. And you seem like a really great guy Adrian.

Moka cries tears of joy and Adrian is speechless that someone truly wants to be his friend.

Saizou: The hell are you babbling about? You scum will die!

Adrian gets ready to fight as Tsukune begins to shake. Tsukune falls and accidentally pulls off a rosary on Moka's neck. A massive burst of energy covers the area and Moka seems to transform into something that is the opposite of her previous self. Moka now has white hair, fierce red eyes, and speaks in a much deeper voice.

Saizou: Just like the legends, red eyes! And an intense supernatural energy. This is... This is a super vampire!!?

Inner Moka: What's wrong rogue one? You... want me, right? Just try and take me... By force.

Saizou attacks Moka, but she easily stops it.

Inner Moka: Attakcing me with this degree of power. You had better realize your place.

Moka kicks Saizou and sends him flying through the forest and causes him to end up unconcious.

Inner Moka: A low class monster who has nothing to show for his size doesn't even make for a decent opponent in a contest of strength.

Adrian look at the other Moka and sensed an overwhelming amount of power coming from her. But he wasn't afraid. Moka walked up to Tsukune and told him and Adrian to babysit the "sentimental" Moka before saying they will meet again soon. She puts the rosary back on her and she reverts to the previous Moka.

Adrian: This was some day at school.

The three of them return to the academy. Tsukune was trying to run from Moka when she wanted to drink his blood and Adrian just looked on in amusement. He then walks through the halls and sees a short, blue haired girl walking past him. He sees a rose on the floor and picks it up. Adrian looks at the girl and believes that the girl dropped it. Adrian walks up to the girl.

Adrian: Excuse me miss.

The girl turns around and reveals he beautiful face and violet eyes

Adrian: I think you dropped this.

The girl blushes at Adrian offering her the rose.

???: Oh. Uh. Thank you.

The girl accepts the rose.

Adrian: Don't mention it.

Adrian walks away as the girl still looks at him while holding the rose. At the end of the day, Adrian goes to his room and looks at the photo of him and his parents when he was only a year old. Adrian sheds a tear and opens a drawer in his night stand. He pulls out a notebook and writes "The Academy of Night" on the cover.
