April Fools Day (Apr. 1st)

Some call this the best day of the year. For others it's a day to be feared. Anything and everything could be (and probably is) a trick. That new student someone's talking to about how much they hate their teacher could be the that very instructor. Their lunch could explode in their face. Their homework could disappear. They could start floating up to the ceiling and be stuck there all day. Those snacks in the dinning hall could turn them into a mouse, a cat, a bat or be perfectly safe and delicious. No one knows...

And anyone could be responsible; the headmaster/mistress, one of the teachers (all of the teachers), some of the cooks, their worst enemy or even their best friend. Heck the castle might get involved and decide to lock everyone out of the dorms or lead someone to a labyrinth when they were only trying to go to the library. Nothing and no one is off limits (meaning the faculty gets it just as good as they give it). The only rule is whatever happens it must be cleaned up or ware off by midnight that night. April Fools day motto: "Trust no one."

No worries though. No one's ever died. And only one person's disappeared and never been seen again.
