She felt her hands cold when she touched the door handle.
" koi nhi.... Just my superstition.... How can he be here?? I hate him...He can never be here..."
She murmured inside her mind trying to assure herself that this would never happen.

She has been trying hard to make herself believe that she hates him but dil maantha hi nhi...
Its too stubborn...

She still miss him...She still want him...She still want to hug him and show him his princess...Their Anshi❤️

But what he did....That can never be forgotten....
She can never let him know about Anshi...

Yeah its unfair for him as a father...
It is unfair to Anshi as daughter...
He too has equal rights on Anshi but as a mother...Its her right...

She can't introduce her to a father who left her mother in middle of nothing...

" Mam? "
The nurse called her breaking her off from her thoughts and she nodded in nothing. The nurse smiled and she gave back a quick slight smile.

She pushed the door handle down and he turned hearing the sound of the door opening.

His eyes met with those beautiful ones after that whole damn 7 years...

She froze and his heart skipped a beat.

They looked at each other without blinking....

Their adrenalin rushing and it felt as if the time stopped. It was only him and her in the moment.

Is it my hallucation?

Chills went down his spine when he saw her....

He felt something called relief...

FLASHBACK

She came in and kept her bag on the table, looking and twirling around.
She saw a large portrait of him on the wall above his bed and smiled touching it, admiring his handsome face.

" Aishi?? "
He asked coming in. She turned and smiled, a bright smile appeared on his face.

" Did you forget...? I am you doctor ladke... I have some things for you..."
She said hugging him. He too hugged her back with one hand, keeping his coat on the couch with another hand.

They shared a quick peck and moved away.
" So let's start? "
She asked and he nodded.

She smiled and took out his medical reports.

Few hours later...

He came out drying his hair with a towel and she was already sleeping on the couch with wide open mouth.

" She must be tired after the checkup... "
He said.

He took out a blanket from the cupboard and covered her as it was cold.

He knew that she can't hold on with cold for long so he increased the temperature of the AC making the roon slightly warm.

She likes lukewarm temperature than cold and he can't stay without AC for a second, that's what make them a completely opposite couple.

He knelt down and chuckled seeing her sleeping with an open mouth. He removed the hair which was falling on her face and stood up.

As soon as he turned she held his hand and opened her eyes.
" mmmhhh.... What's the time?? "
She asked stretching her arms.

" 7:30 pm...Wanna eat something? "
He asked and she nodded like a small baby. He chuckled and headed to the kitchen.

" arre wait for me... I don't know the way of this big mall sized house!!!"
She shouted running behind him while he giggled walking towards the kitchen.

She cut the vegetables while he made the dinner.
They arranged the table with candles as if they were having candle night dinner.

" Hmm... Table night dinner... "
He murmured looking at the table.
" Its candle light dinner...."
She said looking at him and there was an awkward silence and they burst out laughing.

He back hugged her while she was washing the plates.
" Kyaa huaaa....? "
She asked and he nodded in nothing.

She turned and he made her sit on the counter. Her heart beat increased by his intense gaze.
" Anni... Kya... Kar... rahe...ho... "
She stammered.
" Kuch nhi... "
He whispered in a kinda hot way.

They looked at each other silently for a few seconds...And they got engulfed in a passionate kiss.

They seemed hungry for something else...

He picked her up in his arms making her flinch, she wrapped her arms around his neck looking him as he carried her to the room...

And he closed the door behind them with his leg as they were too busy in each other.

10:00pm

She opened her eyes and smiled at Anirudh who was fast asleep.
She felt special laying in his arms, feeling his warmth...

There clothes were laying all around the floor.

He moved in sleep and wrapped his arms around her tightly, falling back to sleep. She slowly removed his hands around her and stood up without making any noise.

She quickly dressed up and started arranging her files and kept it inside her bag. He opened his eyes and let out a tired yawn.

He checked the other side of his bed and sat up looking for her.

She smiled sipping water from the glass.

" I will drop you... "
He said rubbing his eyes and ruffling his hair looking around.
" You look tired...I will grab a taxi... "
She said tying her hair up.
" No... You are tired too...Its too late... Its not safe... I will drop that's it!"
He said coming out of the bed, wearing his shirt back .

" waise... What do you think about the stuff that happened tonight? "
He asked driving.
" Hmm... It was fun... But weren't we too early? "
She asked and he looked at her with a surprised expression and she chuckled.

" I am not sure about that... I can't let this go like this anymore... And since we did all these things tonight, I can't waste anymore time.... I will talk to your family as soon as I return after attending a function in new york... "
He said concerned.

" And... The chances of you getting pregnant is there too....I want to take your responsibility Aisha....I can't and won't let my baby be fatherless... "
He said and she kept her plam on his hand which was on the gear.

How can there be a like him... He is too unreal... I am glad I got you...

She thought and he caught her staring her him.
" what happened...? "
He asked.
" nothing... Just wondering how you will take care of our baby..."
She said and he smiled.

" Take care of yourself... Ok? And don't move around late... Stay safe... "
He said as they reached her hostel.
" You too... Don't stress yourself okay? And eat well... "
She said and he nodded.
" When are you going? "
She asked before leaving.
" In 5 days... I said it earlier cause we may not get time to meet...I will message you... "
He said and she nodded.

She let out a breathe getting back into reality that he is back....

He let out a sigh of relief... Atlast he could breathe... She is alive...

She looked away and quickly started taking care of Navya.

" Aisha...Don't cry... Be calm... He is just my patients relative... Focus focus... "
She said to herself as she checked on Navya.

He chose to stay silent. He tried hard to look away but he just couldn't, he was staring at her and he felt blessed seeing her again.

" Give her a drip of glucose more... And take her for a Xray..."
She said quickly and the nurse was surprised by her sudden change in behaviour.

She took her stethoscope and walked away without even glancing at him.

She left out a deep breathe when she came out and tears formed in her eyes on thought of him.

She quickly ran into the washroom and closed the door as tears rolled down her cheeks.

" How can this happen... Why? Why do you have to do this? I am trying hard to forget him and he is back! No... I hate him... I hate him... I... "
She burst into tears digging her face in her palm.

" Di... I will be back right now... "
He said and quickly left even before Navya could say yes.

He looked around with his racing heartbeats... Looking for that face, that he longed to see in these years.

She came out and washed her face, she looked at the mirror. Her blood shot eyes, red nose, messy hair, shivering lips...

Not she can't return to that state where he left her...

She said breaking down again.

She send the 38th message waiting for his reply.

He has been ignoring her messages after that night and she felt something wrong.

She murmured and tossed her phone on the bed. She layed on the bed, letting out a sigh and a drop of tear escaped from the corner of her eyes.

" Call me Anirudh Arora orelse I will come and punch you on you face!"
She said punching a pillow.

" Ughghh!!! Why is ignoring my messages... Anirudh Arora! I am gonna punish you for this!!!"
She screamed falling back to the bed.

She sighed and turned on the TV and randomly changed the channels, bored and waiting for his message.

Suddenly her phone rang breaking her off her thoughts. She wiped of her tears and took the call.

" Where are you ladki?? Anu wants to meet you... "
Her friend said fron the phone.
" I... I am coming... "
She said trying to sound normal.
" hey... Did you cry?? "
Her friend asked.
" Nah.. Nah.... Its that I drank cold water... So... My throat... "
She tried to make up a lie.
" don't lie... I am coming where are you?? "
She asked.
" Nah... I am fine... "
She said.
" Stop! I know you for past 8years!! Tell me where are you right now? "
Her friend asked and she gave up.
" In the washroom... What about Anshi? "
She asked wiping hee face with towel.
" She is sleeping... She will be fine... I am coming!"
Her friend said and disconnected the call.

Her friend glanced at Anu and planted a kiss on her cheeks before leaving.

He suddenly stopped infront of her cabin where Anshi was sleeping.

" Why do I feel that something that belongs to me is inside...? "
He asked himself as he felt a strange short of pull towards the room.

Anshi turned around and opened her eyes yawning. She sat up rubbing her eyes and ruffled her hair looking around just like father.

" Mumma...? "
She murmured in a sleepy tone and realised she was alone in the room.
She carefully step down from the bed and headed towards the door.

He kept his hands on the door handle, his heartbeats increasing as if he was going to meet one of the most beautiful surprise of his life....❤️
