Knock knock??

Hey there!!!!

I am back!!!

I wanted to write a heart warming one shot so I am back with one... And I am really excited..!!!

First of all a big thanks to parica_is_love for proposing this idea!!!!! Love ya ❤️

So...
Majority of my readers are not married I guess... (We gonna die single together)

But admit it...
We have all imagined our non-existing partner atleast once while listening to our favourite song 🤭🤧❤️

So how does it feel...
How does it feel to have a junior you...?
That cute buddle of joy...
Those toothless smiles...
Those playful giggles...
Sleepless nights...
Loud cries...
Everything is so magical about this right?

Seeing a new life come out of you and grow into a new person is just unbelievable....

And the pain...
It can't be felt through words...
The struggles and huddles our parents went through to keep you safe and sound till now....

So let's feel it...
How does it feel to be a new parent...
Inexperienced and nervous...

I want to make you feel it...
I will try my best...
Each and every word is straight out of my heart...❤️

It was 8:30 pm and the TV was on in the living room. She stared at the TV blankly, all bored.

She smelled his shirt that she was wearing and and stuffed some popcorns into her mouth from the bowl which was kept on her baby bump.

She looked at the clock and pouted.
" why are taking so much time?!! Come fast I waiting!!"
She said looking at their photo.

And suddenly the light of a car flashed inside the room through the window and her face lit up.

She stood up carefully and hurried to the door with a bright smile.

She opened the door and there stood her handsome love, the father of her baby smiling at her.

How she missed that deadly smile!!!

She stood there still for a second, her eyes moistened seeing him.

She missed him so so much...
His warmth, his kisses, his cuddles his hugs, food made by him, his fragrance everything about him!!!

The stories he used to tell to make her sleep...
She missed it so much...

" Missed me?? "
He asked smiling, leaning to her. She nodded with tears and broke into a tight hug, cuddling into him. He embraced her back, feeling a sense of relief, reaching home after a whole damn month.

He missed her too...
Her childishness and clumsiness...
Her soft touches and vanilla fragrance....
Laying in her lap, playing with her hair was his favourite part of the day...

He looked at the shirt she was wearing and then at her.
" I missed you so much.... So I wore it to feel your presence..."
She said and he smiled.

" Let's talk about everything later... First come in!!!!"
She said wiping of a drop of tear which roll downed her cheeks, her face glowing in the third semester.

She saw him hiding something behind him and looked at him wondering what it was and he smirked.

" Guess it...I will give you time... "
He said and she thought of the possible surprises he would give her while he stood there adoring his beautiful wife.

" Umm...Chocolates??"
She asked and he nodded in no.
" Then...Baby shoes? "
She asked and it was a no.
" Come on tell me... I can't wait... "
She said pouting and he laughed.

He forwarded the basket.
" Open it yourself..."
He said and she grabbed it from him.

Her eyes widened as soon as she saw what's in it.
" Strawberries!!!!!!!"
She screamed and he giggled.
" I ordered them since you love them so much... "
He said and she hugged him tightly, they stayed in each other's arms for a few moment.

They missed each other's presence so much..
A typical arranged marriage...
An awkward first night...
Embrasssing moments...
First hug...
First kiss...
Three years of love...
Lots of differences....
And now that gap of difference between them is going to be filled with a toothless smile....

" Let me freshen up.... "
He said and asked the servants to take the bags in.

He sat on the couch after a hot shower as she rested her head on his chest, hearing his heartbeats.

He touched her baby bump.
" Our love is growing so fast.... "
He said and she smiled keeping her hand on his.

They watched a movie together and when he looked at her, she was already asleep in his arms. He turned of the TV and ran his hands through her hair.

" I promise I will keep you and mumma happy... "
He said and kissed her head.

He slowly and carefully picked her up, taking his each and every step carefully towards the room and without disturbing her sleep.

He layed her down on the bed slowly as if she was made of fragile glass.

"Hmm You gained weight... "
He said looking at her who was fast asleep. He covered her with a cozy blanket and layed beside her, feeling her soft presence.

She crept closer to him and their bodies touched, and he could feel the movement in her baby bump against his body and he smiled wrapping her in his arms, giving his warmth to them.

They never thought they would fall for each other so hard and deeply...
Everything was unexpected...
And its quite true "UNEXPECTED THINGS ARE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ONES...."

She opened her eyes in middle of night, feeling her throat dry and looked at him.
He was fast asleep and she decided not to wake him up as he must be tired from the trip.

She looked for water beside her table and the bottle beside her was already empty. She sighed and sat up slowly holding her abdomen. She felt her feet cold and numb.

She slowly stood up, tied up her thick silky hair and headed to the kitchen to drink some water.

He tossed and turned in his bed.

The glass fell from her hands, crashing to the ground, splashing the water and she clutched onto her abdomen.

She tried to call him, but she was breathless and couldn't utter a word out.
" Aa... Aa... Aayu... Ayush... "
She tried to call but in vain.
She held onto the things on her way, heading to the room. Grasping for oxygen.
The pain increased and she couldn't take a step ahead. And she crashed to the ground.
" Hel... Help... "
She murmured before closing her eyes.

He suddenly opened his eyes phanting. And sat up.
" Fuck! It was nightmare!!"
He said with relief and looked at the other side of the bed and saw it empty.

" Piya?? "
He looked around and quickly ran out of the bed.

He looked around and saw glass pieces shattered on ground. He felt his hands turning cold.

There was blood on one of the pieces. And drops of blood on ground. The drops were leading to the kitchen and he followed the trial slowly as his heart beats increased.

He looked at the counter and there sat his wife trying to apply a bandage on her finger.

He let out a sigh of relief and hurried to her.
" Can't you do something carefully??!! See now you caused this wound!!"
He said glaring at her, snatching the bandage from her and she pouted.

" I wanted to drink some water and I accidentally dropped the glass... "
" you could have asked me!!! What if something happened to you??!!"
He shouted making her flinch.

" I am Sorry...."
She said and he started applying medicine without uttering a single word, gritting his teeth.

He looks so damn hot when he is angry, I wanna kiss him...
Her mind murmured.
Pregnancy side effect you know...

He caught her staring at him, lost in him.
" Why are you staring at me?"
He asked and she looked away, turning all red.

" I am sorry na..."
She said pouting.
"I can't let anything happen to you..I just can't...."
He said softening his voice.

"I am scared of each and every second that something might happen to you...
Baby why don't you understand??"
He asked cupping her face.

" I can't afford losing you....I love you...I wanna see till my end... "
He said and her eyes turned glassy.
" I am sorry...I didn't mean to make you angry and sad.... "
She said like a baby and he smiled with his tired eyes.

" I love you very much... "
He said hugging her.
" I love you very very much... "
She said rubbing his back trying to make him feel better.

" Now go to sleep...I will clean it up... "
He said moving back.
" Nah... First give me a peck... "
She said tapping her lips with a pout and he chuckled. He made her sit on his lap and pecked her lips.

The kiss which was supposed to be a slight good night peck turned in a gentle yet passionate one...

" Ouch!"
She held her abdomen looked at him.
And he looked at her.
" Baby kicked!!"
She said and his eyes widened.
" Really??!!"
He asked with million dollar smile to which she nodded repeatedly.

He kept his hands on her bump and they could feel the kick.
" Maybe it loved you warmth.... "
She said and while he was busy feeling the kicks.

"Our baby missed me..."
He said and she smiled wrapping her arms around his neck and kissed his forehead.

" Its late...Don't sacrifice your sleep for our romance.... "
He said and she giggled.
" What can I do...My husband is becoming hotter day by day!! Are you a vampire? "
She asked and he smirked.
" A vampire who is in love with a clumsy angel... "
He said.
" Sounds so out of place...A pair which will never be united..."
She said and his face dropped.

" achcha sorry sorry I was joking...A immortal hot vampire and a cute clumsy angel perfect couple! Okay?"
She asked and he nodded.
" Now go... Let me clean it up..."
He said and she nodded.

She slowly stood up from his lap and walked carefully towards the room while he sat there looking at her walk away.

" Silly girl...I wonder how I fell for you this hard!!"
He murmured chuckling.

" Aah- ah- "
She felt a strong sting in her lower abdomen as soon as she kept her feet on the first step.

" aah..... It hurts...aaaahhh!!! "
She screamed clutching on to her bump, biting her lips.

" Piya careful!! you okay?? "
He asked running to her and held her as soon as she fell back onto his chest.

She nodded in no as her face turned red and he made her sit on the stairs.
" Take a deep breathe...I am here....I am here...Aunty!!!!!"
He shouted for his servant.

She tugged his shirt and gestured him to sit beside her.
" It...It hurts.... Aaa...Can't breathe... "
She tried to speak, clutching his shirt grasping for oxygen.

" Don't worry... Nothing will happen to you...Breathe....Breathe..."
He said holding her hand and she gulped, nodding repeatedly. The pain was making her breathless.

The aunty ran to them.
" Oh my god!! what happened??!!"
She asked.
" She is complaining of pain and is breathless... "
He said rubbing her back to make her feel better.

" Pain!! She is in pain!! Take her to the hospital!!"
She said and he nodded.
" Pls take care of her...Let me bring the car keys and my phone... "
He said standing up and Piya pulled his hands.
" Don't go..... Stay...stay.... "
She said as tears rolled down her cheeks and he sat back beside her.

" Call the driver! I can't drive with Piya in this state..."
He said and the aunty ran out to the servant quarters.

She beat his tighs, asking to make it faster as the pain was becoming uncontrolable.

He held her hand and caressed her head.
The aunty came in with his phone and a bag with important baby items.

" Don't worry I am here... Nothing will happen to you... Just a few steps to the car...Can you?"
He asked clamly even though his heart was on fire.

She nodded immediately and slowly stood up with his help and headed to the car carefully.

She leaned to his chest as he caressed her head in the backseat.
" Just a few more seconds and we are there.... Breathe...Breathe.."
He said wiping of her sweat.

" I want to talk to mumma... "
She begged trying to cope up with the immense pain. He nodded and quickly called mom.

" Mom I n-need you...!!"
She said bursting into tears which she held up till then.
" What happened honey??!! You okay??!!"
Mom asked and he took the phone as she was not able to speak in pain.

" Mom she in pain....We are heading to the hospital... "
He said.
" Oh shit! I will come right now, let me wake up dad... Keep her awake okay... Don't let her sleep.... Talk to her...momma is coming okay baby, stay awake!!"
She said and hung the call.

He tossed the phone back on the seat to focus on her.

" Hey baby...Don't sleep... Look...Look.. Okay so it has been long since I told you a story right? Let me tell you one... Listen to me.... "
He said patting on her cheeks seeing her pass out. She opened her tired eyes trying to stay awake as much as possible.

" Do you remember the first time we met...when you wore saree for the first time to meet me? Our first conversation was so awkward right...??"
He asked and she nodded reminsing those old memories.
" I couldn't stop laughing thinking about it later that night... "
He said and she let out a tired smile.

" And when you were hungry on our first night because you didn't have food properly during the wedding... And we sneeked out in the middle of night without anyone noticing?? "
He asked caressing her forehead to which she nodded.

"Hey baby stay awake...we will reach soon... Stay awake... Don't you wanna welcome our baby together? Stay awake...Don't you wanna prank me along with our baby? Stay awake for it please...."
He said holding her with one hand caressing her baby bump with the other.

" And do you remember when you tried to cook and almost put the kitchen on fire?"
He asked slowly succeeding on distracting her.

" hey....Baby I love you.... Stay awake for me...don't sleep... "
He said patting her cheeks as she was passing out due to the pain.

"We are near...Baby...open your eyes... Don't sleep..."
He said kissing her forehead.

They managed to reach hospital and they quickly took her in, as he waited outside.

He walked back and fro, his heart beats increasing. He sat down, face palming himself.

" Ayu!!!!"
His Mom ran to him followed by his dad who patted his shoulder to make his feel better.

" Don't worry....Be strong..."
She said rubbing his back, her eyes moistened.

Suddenly the doctor ran out, ordering nurse to do somethings.

" what is happening?? Is she fine??"
Mom asked and the doctor stopped in a hurry.
" We can't say anything right now...
the patient is losing a lot of blood and her oxygen level is dropping....we will try our best..."
He said and ran inside.

He looked down as his eyes turned glassy. A drop of tear fell of his eyes onto the ground.

Mom touched his shoulder and he glared at her with his blood shot eyes.

" You all are the reason why she is struggling inside...I swear it won't be good if something happens to her..."
He said in a cold and emotionless voice.

" I am sorry.... "
She said with a glassy eyes.
" Its too late....I won't afford it if something happens to her....You will lose your son..."
He said and walked away.

" Aaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!"
She screamed as much as she could. The pain was unbearable and her body was becoming weak, she was losing her consciousness.
