Jin hyung and I discussed for another 20 minutes. I learned a lot about safe words and the importance of fixing the limits in a relationship. All along I had felt like a child, I was so inexperienced in this matter but at the end, I thought that I had learned a lot about myself and about relationships as well.

I took the paper bag with Tae's medicine from the table and strolled into the bedroom. Tae was lying on his right side, hugging his pillow and breathing peacefully. His lips were moving and he seemed to be talking in his sleep. His blanket must have slipped down because only his feet were covered by it, the rest of it hang down along the side of the bed.

As I moved closer, I picked up the blanket and covered Tae's upper body with it. Even if it was not particularly cold in the dorm, Tae had to stay warm in order to get better fast.

I tucked him in and set down next to him, caressing his hair. He was still very hot and sweaty. I bend over him and kissed his brow lightly. "Love, wake up", I whispered.

Tae kept muttering something but his his eyes started slowly fluttering open. I kissed the tip of his nose. "Time for your medicine", I added.

Lazily Tae opened his heavy eyes. He smiled at me. "Kookie... I am happy to wake up and to see your face". I smiled back at him. It was a good sign that he could speak.

I helped Tae sitting up in the bed. Carefully, I took the pillow he had been hugging in his sleep and placed it behind him so that he would be able to sit down more comfortably. Next, I took the glass from his nightstand and gave it to him. I made sure that he took his medication like indicated and that he swallowed the pills with enough water.

When I put the last pill in his mouth, he wrinkled his nose. "What's up?", I asked laughing at the sight of his grimace. "It tastes super bitter", he wrinkled his nose again in disgust. Smiling at him, I tapped his chin and filled his glass with more water. When he had swallowed the last pill, I kissed his forehead and told him how good he had been.

The medication started working an hour later. Tae's fever dropped and he stopped sweating. I changed his clothes and the blanket once more. Then we got comfortable in our bed, Tae lying between my legs, we watched some anime series.

One after another, the hyungs came checking in on him. They were trying to cheer him up and telling him how he looked already better or like Namjoon hyung put it, "more alive". When Jin hyung came back from the company, he started cooking. That evening he prepared a chicken soup especially for Tae and some ramen to accompany it. Namjoon did even allow us to eat in the bedroom for once.

Tae was sick for another two days and had to stay home. The first day, I begged our leader to stay with him and to write me some excuse for the school. After two hours of begging and pouting, my hyung finally gave in. Jin hyung being the oldest, he wrote the letter for my main teacher. Nevertheless, I had to promise them to go back to school on the next day.

So, the first day, I stayed with Tae, taking care of him, changing his clothes, showering him, giving him his medicine and feeding him. I was happy to see how fast his condition changed and became better. By the end of the day, his fever was all gone and he was starting to become his shining and funny self again. At night, we snuggled with each other and I kissed his face, his hands and neck. I did not dare getting more sexual though. In the end he fell asleep hugging me, just like he had hugged his pillow the other day.

The following day I had to go to school, keeping the promise that I had made to our leader. It was hard to leave Tae behind. In the morning I sneaked out off the bed, trying not to wake Tae. Before I left, I prepared his medicine on the nightstand and I checked that he was all covered up by the blanket. Yoongi, who would leave the house later, had to promise me to take care of my baby instead of me.

That day the time passed slowly. I glanced at my watch every 5 minutes and checked my phone nearly as often. I was afraid to get a message from Yoongi, telling me that Tae's fever had started again during my absence.

Around midday I received a message from my hyung and my heart almost skipped a beat when I read his name on the display of my phone.

Taehyung is awake now. I made him swallow his pills and he changed his pajamas. I will leave the house now. He is doing fine. He will be watching more anime and he will stay put in bed while he waits for you.

I had to read the message three times, until my brain finally registered Yoongi's sentence "He is doing fine" and I calmed down.

During the break, I had lunch with Jimin who tried to cheer me up. We talked a lot about Tae and myself. Somehow Jimin was able to change the topic and we ended up talking about school, the upcoming final exams and Eun Ae-shi.

Jimin had always been curious about my best friend, Eun Ae. We were all nearly the same age and she was a smart and pretty girl. I had introduced Jimin to Eun Ae at the beginning of last year. Since that day, we had often hung out all the three of us after school. Usually, during lunchtime, I was having luch with her while Jimin chilled with Tae on the rooftop of the school. I did not dare being close to Tae at school. It was always so tempting. But I was not allowed to kiss him in the public and the school was definitively a public place. Of course, Eun Ae knew about me and Tae and I also knew about her and Yerin, her girlfriend.

As I was sitting with Jimin under a tree in the school yard, picking at the rice in my lunchbox without actually eating it, Eun Ae joined us. She greeted me, then Jimin with a bright smile. She was always smiling and always straightforward. Therefor, when she saw my frown, she immediately shot me a questioning glance. Jimin who had been fixing Eun Ae's face, answered for me.

"Taehyung is sick. JK is worried. But Taehyung's condition is already much better". Eun Ae nodded in Jimin's direction, thanking him silently for the explanation. " I guess he is under medication and he will be better soon. There is nothing you can do right now, Kook. He will be better in no time!", she said encouragingly and ruffled my hair. This time I nodded but I kept looking at my food. I could not get Tae out of my mind.

Jimin and Eun Ae did most of the talking that day. Even though Eun Ae was a little younger than Jimin they had a lot in common. My thoughts being with Tae, I did not follow much of their conversation. At the end of the break, Eun Ae asked me to text her when I got home and to tell her how Tae was doing. Jimin hugged me and asked me to wait for him at the gate after school, then he was already off.

The last hours went by quicker. In the chemistry class, we did some experiments which helped my mind to focus on something else than my sick boyfriend. And the last class being sports, I was able to channel all of my bad energy and to release it. At the end of the class, I was all drained out. Nevertheless, I felt so much better.

As the water of the shower ran through my wet hair and along my well shaped body, I closed my eyes and concentrated on my breathing. The warmth of the water soothed my muscles. This felt so good after such a exasperating day.

When I joined Jimin twenty minutes later at the school gate, I felt all relaxed. On our way home we stopped shortly at the closest supermarket where we bought some cookies and food for dinner. I bought some of Tae's favorite fruit too as a dessert.

As soon as Jimin had unlocked the door of the dorm, I rushed into the kitchen, dropped off the shopping bag with the groceries and stormed into the bedroom to greet Tae.

He was sitting on the bed, covered in two white blankets. It looked like he was stuck in some sort of an igloo. At my sight, Tae opened his eyes wide, then a beautiful boxy smile appeared on his face. He had been watching anime series just like Yoongi hyung had promised.

I moved towards him and hugged him, longingly. This day had been awfully long without him by my side. I felt Tae's hand slung around my waist as I reached out to kiss him. After some quality time we spent cuddling and hugging each other, Tae asked if we could watch some more anime.

We had just gotten all comfortable before the screen when Jimin popped in. He hugged Tae and asked him how he was doing. Then he sat down on the bed next to us, making it clear that he wanted to spend some time with us.

"There is something I wanted to talk to you about", Jimin finally said, looking intensively at me. Tae shifted in his spot and put his head in my lap, running his index finger over the skin of my knees that appeared through the hole of my jeans. Meanwhile, I caressed his hair and neck, which made him purr from time to time.

"It is about Eun Ae-shi", Jimin went on.

"Sure what about her?", I asked, running my fingers through Tae's thick hair.

"She is your best friend.... Which means... that you guys talk about stuff... right?", Jimin inquired. "Yeah we talk about a lot of things. Do you have something specific in mind?", I asked. Jimin's gaze drifted towards Tae. "Don't mind me, I will continue watching my anime", Tae assured him as he pushed the play button.

Jimin kept side-eyeing Tae for a moment but soon the younger one was absorbed by the action on the screen. I kept caressing Tae's hair, waiting for Jimin to speak.

"I don't know how to put this. I was just wondering if she ever... talked about me?", he finally said. "Ah! Well, yeah! She thinks that you are a nice guy Chim Chim".

"Okay", Jimin answered a little disappointed by my answer.

"And she told me that you are funny and cute. And just like her, you like dancing. Why are you asking? Did she say something today? Sorry, I was all in my thoughts earlier, during lunch", I apologized.

"Well", Jimin blushed. "I was wondering if I could ask her out... on a date".

"Oh!", I screamed which made Tae turn around to look at us. Rapidly, I shook my head, indicating him to concentrate on his anime again.

"Well... hyung.", I started. "I don't know how to say this...but Eun Ae-shi is already seeing someone", I laughed nervously, thinking about Yerin.

"What?! Really?", Jimin asked, all surprised."But I never see her with any other guy than you? And you guys are not dating since you are with Tae! The rest of the time, I always see her with Yerin and some other girls from the hockey club".

Jimin really seemed shocked by this revelation. "Wow... I did not know she was already seeing someone...". Jimin stroke the back of his head, suddenly looking all embarrassed. I would have loved to tell him that it was normal that he had not noticed any of it since she was not dating a guy from school but ... Yerin. But it was not my place to reveal her secret. Especially since I had learned myself how hard it is to trust someone with a secret as heavy as this.

"Sorry, man!", I said instead.

"Ah, it is fine! It was dumb of me to think that she would like me in the first place. She is very clever and very beautiful. I should have known that she is already seeing someone. Although, I wonder what he looks like, her boyfriend! Funny thing. I always thought that YOU would end up dating her... You were always so close. But then Taehyung happened", Jimin said smiling and clearly still embarrassed.

At the mention of his name, Tae turned around once more. I caressed his cheek. He was still a little hot. As he looked at me with his beautiful brown eyes, I could not resist the sudden urge that came over me. So I bent down to kiss him.

Jimin's words were still floating in my head. Even though he was right - Eun Ae was cute and smart for sure -, I would probably never have dated her. Because she was my best friend. But most of all, I had realized that I am just not into girls. And then some time ago, just like Jimin had pointed it out, Tae had happened.

As my lips met Tae's and a boxy smile appeared on his face, I thought that I truly was one lucky boy.
