3rd P.O.V (Lowee)

It was time for you to head to Lowee to see what's happening over there. The snow isn't so bad but you shivered every now and then.

When you had reached the Basilicom, the ones near the door was Rom, Ram, and Mina. The twins were running around the halls while Mina just supervised them. When you had opened the door, the three looked at you and a smile could be seen on their face. Rom and Ram quickly ran to you to see how you're doing.

Ram: Y/N! What are you doing here?

Rom: Did you come here to play?

Excited is what they've shown. You're not exactly here to play but since they shown those innocent looking expression, it was hard to say no.

Y/N: Sure, I'll play. But first, what about Blanc?

Mina: She's still finishing up her novel but at a worrying pace.

Rom: Blanc hasn't slept for 3 days straight...

Y/N: Yeesh... Why is she like that?

Mina: Apparently, the "Rookie Novelist Award" is a few weeks away.

Y/N: A few weeks? No wonder.

As everyone had now a gloomy atmosphere, you decided to give Blanc a piece of your mind. But for now you need to cheer Rom and Ram up.

Y/N: Leave your sister to me. For now, let's go play!

Rom: What do you want to play Mr. Y/N?

You thought for a moment.

Y/N: Let's play with magic!

Ram: Dummy. You can't use magic!

Y/N: I haven't tried so don't bet your hats yet!

Thanks to your quick recover from the gloom, everyone was back to their normal self. Mina brought you three outside to use magic.

(Outside the Basilicom)

Luna reverted to her human self and sat next to Mina as she looked at the 2 VS 1.

Y/N: Hey, I still don't know how to use magic you know?

Ram: You looked pretty confident so... good luck!

Y/N: Thanks a lot me...

Ram gathered a snow around her staff and when there was pretty much a storm gathered...

Ram: Go!

She launched it towards you and luckily you managed to dodge the whole thing.

Rom: Here I go!

She summoned ice cubes and launched it to you. You tried to get away from it but it had a homing effect.

Y/N: Crap!

All the ice cubes hit your head and you were on the ground rubbing your head.

Ram: Yay, good job Rom!

Rom: We did it..!

Y/N: Aren't we happy about it...

Mina walked towards you and helped you on your feet.

Mina: Magic is something not many people could understand so not many could utilize it.

Y/N: And I'm one of them?

Mina: I'm not sure. Here touch my staff. It'll tell whether you can use magic or not.

Y/N: Okay then.

Mina materialised her staff from thin air. You held it gently and closed your eyes. In the darkness, you saw fire, ice, lightning, a tornado, and light. When you opened them, Mina looked surprised.

Mina: Wow... I never knew you could use so many types of magic.

Y/N: I can?

Ram: But why didn't you use it?

Rom nods along.

Mina: He still needs to figure out how to unleash it. Since you're a novice, why don't you try imagine and chant at the same time?

Y/N: That seems rather tedious but I'll give it a shot.

You imagined a fire in your head and chanted out the image.

Y/N: Fire!

You opened your palm facing towards the sky. A small fireball appeared in your hand and instantly it was shot towards the sky. It was small but you were still mesmerized by it.

Y/N: Can I try something else?

You said excitedly. Mina nods and you quickly did the same thing, this time with ice. Ice spikes appeared in the sky and the next, a single lightning bolt struck down breaking the ice. Wind blowing, minor healing, and even a barrier.

Rom: Wow...

Ram: That's a bit unfair...

Y/N: Don't worry. When I need a mage, I'll still count on you two. My magic has variety but it's in its weakest possible.

The two smiled knowing that the one thing they're good at won't be replaced yet. Then...

Rom: Ram... You're glowing.

Ram: You too, Rom.

Once more the glow appeared with your irises changing to the power symbol. Not long, everything returned to normal.

Y/N: So... Shall we continue?

Rom & Ram: Okay!

Pretending like nothing happened you resumed your magic training.

Timeskip (Blanc's Room)

After spending the early morning with Rom and Ram, you went to check up on Blanc. You remembered she was busy doing her passion but it didn't fit well with you.

When you opened the door, the sound of clicking can be heard in the empty room. Blanc was in front of her computer with massive bags under her eyes.

Y/N: Did she even noticed me?

You went closer to her but she didn't even nudge her head to look at you. You took a peek at the monitor, she wasn't doing anything right.

Y/N: I didn't know you became a zombie...

You poked her cheek softly but even that didn't give her a reaction.

Y/N: Yup, she's dead inside out.

You got closer to her ear and whispered the final resort.

Y/N: <whisper> Flat~

The typing stopped as soon you finished. Then, Blanc spinned her chair and sent a punch directly to your face. You went flying across the room and crashed into a wall.

Blanc: You dare say that to me while I was busy working?! You better prepare yourself because I'm really pissed off now!

Y/N: (Though your face shows otherwise...)

You got up and when Blanc tried harder to tell who it was. She realised it was you.

Blanc: Y/N? Were you the one you whispered "that" into my ear?

Blanc said in a very pissed tone.

Y/N: What did I say? All I remember was trying to peek at your work and then you attacked me.

Blanc: <whispering> I swear I heard someone said "that"...

The lie worked. You quickly recovered and went up to Blanc.

Y/N: I think you should rest. If you keep this up, you might catch a cold especially with Lowee's weather.

Blanc: No thanks. I need to finish this beforehand.

Y/N: Arrogant aren't ya?

You bended over and pointed a few words on the monitor.

Y/N: Look. What were you trying to write here? "Dead inside", "Lost lips"? Nothing is correct.

Blanc was surprised. She took a proper look at the monitor but to her, it was blurry.

Blanc: I guess you're right. Then, do you mind putting me to sleep?

Y/N: Sure- Wait, how do I do that?

Blanc: Carry me to my bed and sleep beside me.

Y/N: Aren't you a bit straightforward now?

Heading her words, you carried her princess style. Blanc blushed a light red from the embarrassment.

Blanc: I-I can walk now, it's fine-

You ignored her request and placed her on the bed. You got into it afterwards.

Blanc: Y/N-

Y/N: You talk too much Blanc. Just get some sleep.

You closed your eyes and Blanc felt a bit annoyed that you didn't listen to her at all.

Blanc: Once I'm fully awake, I'll make sure to return the favour.

Though she did say it in a very sinister tone. It sent chills onto your spine.

Soon, Blanc slept soundly and again, the glow surrounded the two of you. Though nobody noticed since your eyes were closed.

Y/N: Damn, I don't have the time to sleep. I need to see how's Planeptune doing.

You slowly got off the bed and began your trip to Planeptune.

Blanc: Zzz... Y/N...

Timeskip (Planeptune)

The final nation to pay a visit. You looked around to see everything looked normal. But there were 2 people who were sticking out a bit. One in orange while the other was in lilac.

When they had made eye contact with you, Older Neptune and Uzume went up to you as fast as they could.

Uzume: Y/N! You okay?

Y/N: Still standing see? I'm fine.

They let out a breath of relief.

Neptune(Ultra): That's good to hear. We gave Crostie a good lecture for daring to mess with the teleportation.

Croire: Like I said, it's not me!

Neptune(Ultra): Lie all you want but there's no way we'll buy your story.

Croire: Urgh... Y/N, you believe me right?

Y/N: What proof do you have?

Croire: I don't have solid proof but someone else messed up my teleportation ability. Someone who's capable of bending space...

Y/N: Bending space?

Croire: We were heading towards Lastation like promised and during the teleportation you were sent somewhere else thanks to an anomaly in space.

Uzume: And like a hundred time we-

Y/N: I'll buy your story.

Uzume & Neptune(Ultra): Huh?

The two were surprised that you bought her story.

Uzume: It may sound real but she's really always up to no good.

Croire: That's harsh you know?

Ignoring Croire, you explained to them your reasoning.

Y/N: When I came back to Gamindustri, something similar happened to me too.

Neptune(Ultra): What do you mean by "came back"?

Y/N: It's a long story...

<Grumble>

All three of your stomach growled at the same time. You and Neptune placed your hands on your stomach while Uzume blushed a light red.

Neptune(Ultra): Well would you look at the time.

Y/N: Lunch huh? Any great restaurants nearby?

Uzume: Ooh, one with grilled fish would be nice too!

Neptune(Ultra): Hmm... I'm not sure if I can find that in an empty stomach.

You taught of a place but none came up. So many things happened so you didn't get a chance to eat at a restaurant yet.

Y/N: Why don't we pick one out of random? It'll take longer to find one so let's just believe in Lady Luck.

Neptune(Ultra): One with grilled fish would be a seafood restaurant right? Let's start searching for that.

Uzume & Y/N: Alright!

Timeskip (Near a river)

Uzume: So... hungry...

Neptune(Ultra): Why is it so hard to find a shop that sells food?

Y/N: Yeah... It's a first for me to not see a single restaurant.

You looked at the river that was located just near Virtue Forest. A few fish could be seen swimming along and against the currents.

Y/N: It came to this in the end... Neptune, get some wood and sticks.

Neptune(Ultra): Sure but why?

Y/N: It's time to go primal. Aura Blades.

The 6 Blades came out of your sheath and went above the river. The tip pointed down where there were fishes.

Y/N: Now!

In a blink of an eye, all of the 6 swords had a fish flailing at the tip of the blades. You called back your blades and got the fish off the blades. It stopped flailing. In the meantime, Neptune and Uzume were surprised to see that you could use such a skill.

Y/N: It may not be nice without the seasonings but it'll do.

Neptune(Ultra): I'll get the wood right away!

Uzume: And I'll try to find some other stuff that could make this fish taste even better!

With those sentences, they ran off into the woods. You smiled looking at the 2 going into the forest.

Timeskip

<crackling>

Uzume took a strong bite on the freshly cooked fish and had a satisfied look at her face.

Uzume: Grilled fish is great but this is definitely something else!

Neptune(Ultra): I'm glad I got to eat.

You kept silent but still enjoyed the meal you made using a campfire. Uzume gulped down her food and remembered to ask you something.

Uzume: Hey Y/N. Can you tell us about yourself?

You looked at Uzume in surprise till you stopped chewing.

Neptune(Ultra): That's a great idea! You said you came back to Gamindustri, right? What's with that?

You chewed and quickly gulped down your food.

Y/N: Listen well. I'll tell you who I really am.

Timeskip

Uzume: Really?! You're the hero who put an end to Mebius?

Neptune(Ultra): And the sudden disappearance of monsters was because the monsters came to your world?

You nod with your arm crossed while grinning. Those events were carved into your memory like burning data into a CD.

Uzume: You're dressed like a normal person so I didn't notice you were some famous superhero.

Y/N: I don't aim to be a hero. Only playing its part when needed.

Uzume: That makes you a hero, no?

Y/N: Hmm... Maybe?

As you smiled at the sunset, another glow emanated. That glow came from Uzume and you.

Uzume: W-What's going on?

Y/N: Pay it no mind.

Feeling a little annoyed at the sudden glows, the glow slowly dimmed out. You got up as you finished the final fish.

Y/N: I want to go see the smaller Nep. Do you mind me going off so suddenly?

Neptune(Ultra): Nope, not at all. Thanks for the meal and safe travels!

Uzume: Hope to see you again Y/N!

The two waved you goodbye as your journey to Planeptune's Basilicom begins.

Timeskip (Planeptune's Basilicom)

Your elevator ride was over and when you exited the door...

Y/N: Nep-

Peashy: Waahh!!!

Peashy who was flying towards you headbutted your stomach which made you feel like throwing up the fish you had recently just ate. You got on your knees while Peashy recovered almost immediately and ran off without saying sorry.

Y/N: For someone who looks like a mature person in HDD, she's even more childish than Ram.

You got up and out of the elevator. The one who came up to you to see if you're fine was Plutia.

Plutia: Are you okay, Y/N?

Y/N: Just fine but I need to be near a toilet just in case.

Plutia: You're strong so I think you're fine.

Somehow just listening to Plutia's voice soothes you a bit.

It wasn't long till Nepgear and Neptune found you lazing on the couch.

Neptune: Long time no see Y/N!

Nepgear: You sure were busy recently. Ah, would you like a drink?

Y/N: It's fine Nepgear. Just wanted to see how're you all doing.

Neptune: You didn't came just to see me?

Neptune pouted wanting you to at least see her alone.

Y/N: Sorry but it's not easy to manage a harem. Especially when they're all beautiful goddesses.

Neptune: Hah! Your flattery won't effect me!

Y/N: Then I'll just go alone with Nepgear.

Nepgear blushes like mad while Neptune was shocked frozen.

Neptune: How could you say that?! I'm a perfect package Mr. Harem.

She pouts even harder with your teasing. Plutia and Peashy came in wanting to know what's the noise about.

Plutia: You three are really close.

Y/N: Plutia...

You got up from your seat and this gave you a tackle from none other than Peashy.

Neptune: Bwahahaha! Karma hits you hard!

Puns clearly not intended.

Then, seeing Neptune laughing like that you wanted to play around a bit more. You picked up Peashy like she's a baby and placed her on her feet. You whispered into Peashy's ear.

Y/N: <whisper> Let's get Neptune.

Peashy: Okay!

Neptune: I triggered something didn't I?

Nepgear: I don't think I can help with this. Sorry Neptune.

Y/N: I choose you Peashy! Use tackle!

You pointed at Neptune and she ran and tried to tackle the panicked Neptune.

Neptune: W-Wait! I don't have my monster ready-

Before she could finish, the tackle hit Neptune and it was really effective.

Timeskip

Nighttime came and after playing with Peashy a bit and getting to know her, the glow happened. Peashy was really mesmerized by it and was disappointed it didn't last. Since she was tired playing around she slept with Plutia in the bedroom.

Y/N: So tired...

Nepgear: Here Y/N. I made some cookies and milk to go with it.

Y/N: Thanks Nepgear. Really appreciate it.

You took a cookie and had a small bite. You could tell she made it because it was still warm.

Y/N: Nothing beats homemade meals.

Nepgear: Something like this is nothing compared to yours.

Y/N: You're getting there. I only got mine through a dumb experiment.

Nepgear: Don't say that! Even without that, I think you're a great cook. It's rare to see a male do the cooking so you're special.

When you heard Nepgear calling you special, you couldn't help but blush at her words.

Y/N: Thanks Nepgear.

Nepgear a little dense to towards your blush shrugged it off.

Y/N: Don't just sit there and sit here.

You tapped your hand on the seat next to you pointing out, Nepgear should seat there. Nepgear took your offer and quickly you leaned on her shoulder. She squealed a bit out of surprise.

Nepgear: Y-Y/N?

Y/N: I want to act a bit selfish today so could you bear it for a while?

Nepgear: Okay. Just for a while is fine.

Slowly you fell asleep on her shoulder. It took a while for Nepgear to notice it but when she did your head fell on her thighs and she squealed a loud and short one.

Nepgear: Y-Y/N?

Because of that sudden fall you moved to a more comfortable posture to sleep. This forced your head to move on her thighs.

Nepgear: Y/N, that tickles! Stop moving your head!

When you found the right posture, you went back to sleep snoring peacefully.

Nepgear: <sigh> What did you do to make you this tired?

Looking at your defenseless face, Nepgear blushed and smiled looking at you.

Nepgear: You didn't get to finish my cookie which I tried my best making... Sleeping on my thighs without warning... I think I'll tease you for revenge.

Nepgear ended up playing with your head from poking your face to stroking your hair. She also finished the cookies that she made specially for you and drank the milk. It was warm milk so the drowsiness from it made Nepgear fell asleep in a sitting posture.

Meanwhile...

Neptune: Huh? What happened to the warm milk I drugged?

Apparently, the milk was drugged with a crushed sleeping pill. It was payback for you teasing her but it ended up drugging Nepgear too.

The End: Chapter 5: Between You & Me (Part 2)

Back in action! Sorry for the really long delay. But apologies aren't going to cut it. A month really is horrible of me. Really sorry!

I tried to fit everyone one into this chapter bit I felt like this is a good stopping part. So if you noticed it, Plutia and Neptune is left. Yeah, you heard me Plutia.
