Subplot: Video Games with Vert
(Y/N)'s P.O.V.
June 20, 20XX
Location: Leanbox's Basilicom
Time: Early Morning
Throughout the past few months things have been rather tiring because I was asked to help save Gamindustri from the Virus Empire. . . but guess what? All of the reactors are now destroyed. I can definitely say that the Virus Empire will definitely suffer a major setback with all of this as just a few days ago, I helped Vert along with Nepgear and S-Sha take down the last one. It wasn't easy, I mean none of them were easy at all. I thought I was going to die multiple times because those bastards kept pulling out tricks that none of us were prepared for. However, it looks like thanks to not just teamwork, but a little bit of luck as well that we were able to save all of the nations from being corrupted with Viruses.
Things aren't back to normal yet though as I've been staying at Leanbox for a couple of days to rest myself. Although it may seem like I should be getting a lot of rest, it's not what you think as it's been hard for me to sleep as I kept hearing those same voices through my head as I did while I was staying in Lowee. Today is the fourth time in the row that's happened as I'm squirming and groaning while in a bed. Once I wake up though, I open my eyes and see the last thing that I was expecting to see as not only am I looking up at the sky. . . but I hear lots of footsteps as well.
I sit up and I was able to see that I was in. . . Planeptune? And I see a bunch of people just walking right past or through me.
(Y/N): P-Planeptune?! Why am I back here so suddenly?!
Purple Ghost: Y'know. . . it's not really easy to get your mind to see these things differently.
I heard that voice as I turn to see that it was the same ghostly figure that I saw in my last dream.
(Y/N): You again??
Purple Ghost: *giggles* Sleep well, (Y/N)~?
I glare at her patronizing me.
(Y/N): I would have if you didn't keep putting these weird images in my head again! Can't I just go a day. . . or at least a week without you making me so damn uncomfortable?
The purple ghost puts a finger on her chin and pretends to think.
Purple Ghost: Hmm. . . let me think. . . No~
She gives a playful smile at me as I just roll my eyes at her answer.
(Y/N): Ugh! Why am I here? Especially in my home town Planeptune.
Purple Ghost: I don't know~? Why don't take a look behind you~?
I raise an eyebrow from that as I do what I was told and suddenly. . . I was shocked to see the same girl that I was hanging with in the woods in the last dream that the ghost gave me and she was even accompanied by three other girls that had similar colors to what Vert and the other goddesses wear on their clothes, but slightly tinted as one was silver, another was jade, and the final one was gray. The silver girl had long blonde hair and was wearing a cute silver tank top with a yellow skirt and some high heels on her feet. The gray girl who was looking really bored had on punk type outfit with spiked bracelets on her wrists, she had black hair that was in a ponytail, she was wearing black eye shadow, some indigo pants, and some tennis shoes on her feet. The jade girl had on a collared shirt with some short shorts that showed off her legs, her hair was more curly and she had on some heels too.
(Y/N): What the. . . Who are those girls?
I decided to walk towards them and I eavesdrop a little on their conversation as they were all at a table conversing with each other. I didn't see the other me anywhere though which was a little bit odd.
Girl (Gray): Remind me why we're still sitting here? I've got a nation to get back to and do some productive work. I'm not gonna sit here doing nothing all day you know
Mysterious Girl: S-Sorry, I'm just. . . waiting on someone.
Girl (Green): Oh? You mean. . . him.
Mysterious Girl: Yeah, I have no idea what's taking him so long. He was suppose to be here the time we were all meeting up with each other.
(Y/N): (Is she referring to me?)
Girl (Silver): I'm sure whatever is holding our dear friend up that he's got a perfectly good explanation for it.
The girl in gray crosses her arms and leans back in her chair.
Girl (Gray): He better. Lunch with you girls has been. . . fine I guess, but that stick in the mud doesn't show up soon, I don't think I'm going to gather here again like this unless it's necessary.
The girl in jade bonks the gray girl in the head from that as she glares at her while rubbing her head.
Girl (Gray): Hey! What the hell?!
Girl (Jade): Don't go saying things like that, you wet blanket! He's a considerate type of person!
Girl (Gray): Considerate, my ass.
Girl (Silver): Oh, you don't mean that. Besides, you see the way that he always treats us and especially. . . Uranus.
The moment I heard that name made me gasp and I felt a shock to my head as I grab it in pain while kneeling to the ground a bit. I then get some weird flashes in my mind of the same said girl in my mind and one of them was the moment we had in the lake. Once the flashes were done, I open my eyes back up and stare back at the girl who's name I now know is Uranus and that name was giving me deja vu for some reason.
(Y/N): U-Uranus. . . Where have I heard that name? It sounds. . . familiar?
The girl named Uranus then speaks with a slight blush on her face.
Uranus: U-Um, well he is my closest friend. I see him visit me all of the time in the Basilicom.
I heard that and it was all confusing me even more.
(Y/N): (Wait. . . Basilicom? Visit? Is she a CPU?)
The silver girl giggles as she scoots over to Uranus with a smug look on her face.
Girl (Silver): Closest~?
Uranus: D-Don't give that look, Cream!
Cream: I'm only teasing. No need to get so embarrassed. Perhaps you should hang with Nesta to learn to be more bold. . . maybe even around (Y/N)~
The girl in gray whose name I suppose is named Nesta heard that as she stands up and glares at Cream.
Nesta: Sh-Shut up! Don't give her any ideas for her to come to Lastation for stupid reasons such as that!
Cream gives her a rather unconvinced look.
Cream: You say that and yet you feel lonely when Uranus isn't around, don't you?
Nesta blushes from that as she stomps her foot. She's starting to remind me a lot like Noire.
Nesta: I-I don't feel lonely! And what's to say that I have a connection with Uranus at all?!
Girl (Jade): *sighs* You are so immature. . .
Nesta: I don't wanna hear that coming from someone who's only job in Leanbox is to cosplay and sing at concerts for guys who like goggle at your skin like perverts, Gyra.
Gyra: I'll have you know that my skin is way more fair than yours as it shines in the sunlight compared to yours.
Nesta: What was that?!
Uranus: Can we all just stop fighting please?
Gyra: That should directed towards the girl who doesn't keep her mouth shut.
Nesta: You wanna start something now? Is that was this is about?
(Y/N)?: *panting* She's. . . right you know. . . I don't like. . . to see you girls bicker like that!
I then hear some running footsteps and I suddenly see my other self running towards the girls while panting and he looks to rather banged up too with a cut on his arm surprising all of the girls.
Nesta: Gee, what took ya?
(Y/N)?: *panting* I took a quest at the Guild. . . Ancient dragon wouldn't let me past. . . along with a Fenrir. . . I was. . . able to take care of it though. . .
He catches his breath and sits down holding his head beside Uranus who looked at him with worry.
Uranus: It didn't get. . . too violent, did it?
(Y/N)?: N-No. I'm fine really.
Uranus then notices the cut on my other self's arm and she grabs it surprising him.
(Y/N)?: U-Uranus??
Uranus: You're hurt. . .
She then puts her hand on his head to check for other injuries making myself blush and it was honestly kind of funny to see myself being so flustered with a girl as if I met for the very first time. I normally hang around Ayame back when I was in school and I always hang out the goddesses so I have no problem talking to girls at all.
(Y/N)?: Uranus, really, I'm fine. It's no big deal.
Uranus: Don't say that!
She looks around and she takes some napkins on the table and she quickly ties them all up before wrapping around (Y/N)'s bleeding cut on his arm as he just stares at her.
Uranus: Come on, (Y/N). Don't go running off doing something so hasty without letting us know. You know better. You really started to worry me.
(Y/N)?: S-Sorry!
She then looks at him in the eyes for a second before putting both of her hands in his making my other self blush.
Uranus: Besides, you need to save a beatdown for me too.
She then gives him a skeptical look as she puts her hands on her hips.
Uranus: Or. . . are you still underestimating me just cause I'm a girl and you think that you need to defend me so much. I'm a CPU too, y'know.
My other self put his hands up in defense with a nervous smile.
(Y/N)?: No! O-Of course not! Quit overreacting!
Uranus narrows her eyes at him before she started to snicker and she let's out a couple of laughs from teasing (Y/N) like that and he raises an eyebrow on how Uranus did a sudden 180 on her attitude before he just rubs the back of his head. The other three girls simply stared at the two, but had different reactions.
Cream: Heh heh, they look so adorable. . .
Gyra: *smiles* Indeed.
Nesta: I almost barfed watching, but whatever.
Cream: Well, we need a little bit of romance in our lives too. Don't you think?
Nesta: I'll pass.
Gyra: Cream. . . we're CPUs.
Cream: I know, I know. It just wouldn't be a bad thing is all I'm saying.
Gyra: Eh, I suppose, but let's not have (Y/N)'s and Uranus'. . . "friendship" get into our heads, alright?
Nesta: I can agree on that.
After myself and Uranus stopped their laughter, he turns to the rest of the girls and stands up.
(Y/N): It's been wonderful to see you girls all together again. Sorry for leaving so soon, but I've got another quest that I need to fulfill. Keep your nations Shares in check after all.
Gyra: *nods* Understood.
Nesta gives a two-finger salute with a smirk.
Nesta: See ya.
My other self turns to walk away, but Uranus wasn't having any of that as she jumps right in front of me with a pouty face.
Uranus: Oh, come on! Already?! What are you, an adrenaline junkie for fighting? You should at least eat something!
(Y/N): Ugh! Uranus. . . will you stop that? You're not my mother.
Uranus: No. . . but I do now that's the best solution. . . unless you want that cut on your arm to be multiplied by a dozen.
(Y/N): I-
Uranus puts her finger on my other self's lips.
Uranus: Ah! Don't say another word. You're not going back out there without a meal, mister.
Uranus runs off to go and try and get something for my other self, so that he doesn't run out of stamina while fighting.
(Y/N): (I can honestly relate to. . . myself. My mom and dad are always looking out for me a little too much which can get annoying after awhile.)
My other self then turns to the other girls who were just letting out some quiet giggles at what he's going through and I won't lie, it is kind of funny to him being mothered around by Uranus like that. As I was thinking that, the purple ghost who was observing this scene right beside me speaks out.
Purple Ghost: Sometimes it's just not fair that you always get to play the hero role.
I look at the ghost confused on what she means.
(Y/N): What are you talking about?
Purple Ghost: *giggles* What? You wanna know more~?
(Y/N): I've honestly been wanting the whole truth from the beginning. What is all of this, who are you, and why are you showing me this?
The purple ghost just reacted with the same kind of pouty face that Uranus made earlier to my other self.
Purple Ghost: So impatient. . .
(Y/N): Look I'm serious. I get that you're trying to show me that these scenes are important, but I want to know the reason why.
Purple Ghost: Sorry, but that on a "need to know" basis and right now. . .
She points over to myself speaking with the other girls at the table.
Purple Ghost: That right there is all you need to see at the moment.
(Y/N): I don't get it. Seeing myself there is surprising, but all I'm doing is talking with four girls who are from what I heard are CPUs.
Purple Ghost: Oh, don't worry. There's more. . .
The purple ghost snaps her fingers and somehow she was able to warp us to another landscape that I wasn't expecting before as now we're on top of mountain as I look back and forth surprised.
(Y/N): What the hell? Where are we now?
I then hear a grunt and I turn to see the other me climb onto the top of where me and the ghost were as he stands up and turns back around before kneeling down to reach his hand out for someone which sounded like Uranus.
(Y/N)?: Easy now.
Uranus: You worry too much. I'm no weak little princess that needs to be coddled by some bodyguard.
She then felt herself nearly slipping off of the rock that she was climbing on as she grabs the edge with an annoyed look.
Uranus: Shit.
(Y/N)?: *chuckles* You were sayin~?
Uranus: I was saying. . . Shut up and help me up already.
The other me proceeds to do as once they were both on top of the mountain, they walk over to another edge of the mountain that made me a tiny bit confused as they gaze out somewhere with some neutral expressions.
Uranus: It's a horrible sight, isn't it?
(Y/N)?: Yeah. . . it's hard to believe that place is actually somewhere where the fallen and obsolete take rest.
She then get's a rather glum look before taking a look at (Y/N).
Uranus: I've. . . had some thoughts and. . . I'm just worried.
(Y/N)?: About what?
Uranus: You see. . . I wanted to know exactly how people from the past exist in there, but. . . no matter curious I am I just can't.
(Y/N)?: Too dangerous?
She shakes her head.
Uranus: Too much. The place is literally a living hell. I can't really say that if CPUs are really in there. . . they wouldn't really be resting in peace. It's more than I can handle. . . even now. I didn't want to take in this sight alone. That's why I asked if you could come here with me. Looking at the damage of this area. . . is depressing.
My other self turns to Uranus and puts his hand on her shoulder. She looks up at him as he gives her a smile.
(Y/N)?: It's perfectly fine. I know you're probably not used to taking in sights like this, but just know this. . . no matter what happens. Know that I'm going to protect both our future and Gamindustri's too. You already know that it's not easy to begin with running a nation, so don't let the sight of anxiety and depression wear you down. I'm going to keep supporting you with enough power to help your people Uranus, so don't go thinking that you'll be forgotten anytime soon.
He then takes Uranus' hand into his making her blush from his little gesture.
(Y/N)?: I mean. . . I certainly won't.
Uranus looks up at (Y/N) with astonishment in his words before smiling at him and they both sit down on the grass before looking out at the sight of what I heard to be some form of Gamindustri. . . but what was it? I was curious to what they were looking at as I took a couple of steps forward, but as I do, the ghost floats right in front of me to block my path.
Purple Ghost: H-Hold on! Just what do you think you're doing?
(Y/N): All I'm going to do is see what they're looking at? Is that a problem?
Purple Ghost: What if I said that. . . you're not going to like it?
(Y/N): (Okay, now she's really getting on my nerves being this cryptic.) I don't know if you've noticed, but so far I'm really not getting too much out of these artificial dreams that you're giving me, so I don't think that what they're seeing is going to make a difference.
Purple Ghost: Wait, hold on, but. . .
I didn't want her stopping me, so I just walked right around her which shocks the ghost and I went over to the part of the cliff where my other self along with Uranus is. I look at them before looking out in the direction they were looking at and once I did. . . I flinched. It was a dark landmass littered with defunct objects such as old pieces of gaming consoles and technology. The sky around this landmass radiates a grim dark aura, paired with dark roaring thunderclouds and lightning.
The moment I see this sight. . . a shock get's sent to my head as I grab it in pain. I then fall to the ground and started rolling around holding my head in agony as the purple ghost looks at me rather worriedly.
Purple Ghost: That's why I warned you. . .
This is literally hurting like crazy as in my head I even hear something roaring out loud in my head while also hearing explosions and fighting sounds going off too. Once the pain was starting to subside, I start to get on my knee in pain and look at the rather ominous place again.
(Y/N): That place. . . it's the. . . Gamindustri Graveyard! I heard history of it, but. . . why does it feel so familiar?! I-It's feels like. . . I've been there before!
The purple ghost then looks at me as it nods.
Purple Ghost: That must mean. . . it's starting.
I turn to the ghost still very confused and irritated from what she talking about.
(Y/N): W-What's that suppose to mean?!
Purple Ghost: I've showed you all that you needed to see for right now! Just know that this isn't over (Y/N)! The next time we meet. . . we're probably going to have a little bit of a talk.
She then fades away as I just stare at where she disappeared and looked around.
(Y/N): Wait! Come back! Why is the Gamindustri Graveyard here?! I want to know!! COME BACK!
Third P.O.V.
(Y/N) wakes up in his bed with a huge gasp from seeing what he just saw in that dream. He looks around and takes a couple of deep breaths to see that he was back in the waking world once more. He then thought about what the purple ghost told him as it made him tense up just a little bit as he holds his head with a serious look.
(Y/N): (Why is the Gamindustri Graveyard there?! I thought it disappeared a long time ago! Wait. . . no! Something isn't right! The Gamindustri Graveyard isn't here now in the present, but why do I feel like it should be?! And why do I feel like I've been there before sometime in my life?! It makes no sense at all!)
(Y/N) then jumps out of bed and holds his head again not knowing what he just saw and why he is seeing all of these illusions as he then turns back to the bed that he was sleeping in thanks to Vert providing him a room in Leanbox.
(Y/N): (That ghost. . . I swear, if we meet again in one of those dreams. . . I'm going to make her talk, no matter what. Even though she making bad jokes and being super cryptic. . . I'm not going to let this slide.)
(Y/N) then walks out of the room to put on his clothes that he acquired in Leanbox before walking out of the room to go out and see what Vert was up to. Nepgear decided that she would head back to Planeptune yesterday to tell Histoire the news about all of the reactors being destroyed. He walks into the dining room to grab himself some tea that Vert should have before he sees her sitting down at a table with her arms crossed and had half-lidded eyes.
(Y/N): (Wow. . . Vert's looking tired. Especially in the morning. . . Wait a second. . .) Vert, you seem pretty sleepy this morning.
Vert heard the sound of (Y/N)'s voice as she looks around before he spots him entering the dining room and she smiles at him before waving at him.
Vert: My apologies. *yawns* I've been rather busy of late.
(Y/N): (Yeah. . . she definitely stayed up playing video games all night again.)
Vert: *yawns* I will wake myself soon enough. Do not fret. Please wait a little bit longer. . .
She yawns once again, but this time she looks like she was about to slam her head straight into the table and (Y/N) sees this with worry as he rushes over to her and helps her sit back up in her chair.
(Y/N): V-Vert! Don't just fall asleep on the table like that! You'll probably make a mess with that teacup in front of you!
Vert: O-Oh! *yawns* That was simply a little joke that I like to play on you and Chika. Just wait a little bit more. . .
(Y/N): That hardly looked like a joke! You've got insomnia, Vert! I've seen Blanc pull some all-nighters with writing her books, but this is extreme! When was the last time you even slept?!
Vert: I believe. . . it was the day after we stopped the Virus Empire. . . Nepgear left. . . and S-Sha wanted to do her own thing.
(Y/N): I should've known. . . (I've got to light the fire under her butt somehow. . .)
(Y/N) thinks for a second as he stares at Vert who was struggling to stay awake from pulling three all-nighters in a row. She wouldn't even take a sip of her tea. She was literally that tired. After thinking it over a bit more, (Y/N) sighs as he shakes his head.
(Y/N): (It's no use at all. If she was able to stay up for that long, then there's one solution that will get her bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.)
(Y/N) walks out of the room to go to another room in the Basilicom, leaving Vert to try and stay awake. A little bit later, Vert hears the sound of a loud beep that sounded something being turned on as her eyes open up wide and she stands up from her seat in high alert.
Vert: WHAT!? I believe I heard the sound of a power button. I do believe that it is time for games. Yes! This is no time to rest at all! Many characters and many stories are waiting for me to advance!
Vert walks out of the dining room to go her room and play some games that she had planned, but she opens the door. . . she is met with a rather peeved (Y/N) who crosses his arms and looks up at Vert not really happy with her current lifestyle.
(Y/N): *sternly* That got you up instantly.
Vert: Oh my. Did you want to join in any special events that may be currently happening as well, (Y/N)? I know that you're quite the gamer yourself.
(Y/N) sighs and shakes his head before looking up at Vert.
(Y/N): Can I. . . talk to you for a second Vert?
Vert: Huh? Y-Yes, of course. . . I don't mind, so long as you hurry up and say what needs said.
(Y/N): Just how are you able to keep handling days like these not getting sleep, but still having the energy to play games?! It's insane!
Vert: This is nothing my dear little soldier. I was tired because I had to use every moment of my time for a time-specific event in an MMO.
(Y/N): 4 Goddesses Online?
Vert: That is correct. Are you familiar with the game yourself?
(Y/N): Of course. I actually play it all of the time. . . in moderation that is.
Vert smiles from this as it gives her an idea in mind.
Vert: This is perfect. Why don't you and I play some of the game and we can even exchange friend codes as well?
(Y/N) was surprised to hear that offer as it made him really excited on the inside that Vert of all people, or in this case CPUs, is offering him to exchange friend codes with her.
(Y/N): I would love to, Vert! W-Wait, I mean. . . yeah, that's encouraging, but what I'm trying to say is get some rest. Besides, you really look like you need it.
Vert: I cannot burden you with such trivial matters. Worry not. I should be fine.
(Y/N): Okay. . . if you say so.
Vert: I even have a bunch more Leanbox hardware that I can show you as well, if you're interested. I don't just have a simply hologram projector that changes the landscape.
(Y/N) had a rather curious look as new gaming hardware that Vert owns herself may be interesting to him.
(Y/N): Huh. I do only have a couple of consoles back where I come from. Alright then Vert, show me what you have. However, once we're done. . . promise me that you'll get some rest please?
Vert: Of course. There's no need. . . *yawns* to worry. . .
Vert looked like she was about to topple forward again as (Y/N) catches her again, but this time a couple of two large melons hit (Y/N) in the face as he blushes really red from having those things in his face. As much as he would enjoy that, he doesn't give in and pushes Vert back up to stand upright before he snaps his fingers in her face which makes her opens her eyes back up.
(Y/N): Vert. . . please don't overdo it. Okay?
Vert: *chuckles nervously* Of course. So shall we get started?
A little bit later, Vert pulls out a device that looked rather similar to her holo projector and shows it to (Y/N) with a smile.
Vert: Behold, this piece of gaming technology owned by Leanbox allows you to move your character by moving in real life! You needn't punch someone next to you directly, but from this vicinity, it could be fun to witness.
(Y/N): Wasn't there something like that happening in Lastation too? I think Lowee had that kind of concept too.
Vert: That may be true, but the big difference is that Lastation actually uses a helmet to activate it's equipment while Lowee has handheld remotes to activate theirs. With this, we don't need to take a hold of anything. If you also must know. . . Leanbox was the first to come up with this kind of idea. I don't know if it was a rip-off or inspiration, but the other nations seem to like it too.
(Y/N): (I wonder why Planeptune doesn't have that kind of technology.)
It took a minute to set up, but Vert and (Y/N) were now standing right next to each other while standing up putting Vert's console to the test. They were playing a game where they were racing each other on a raft, getting past obstacles in some rapids by either leaning to the side, ducking, and even jumping too. Each time that they jumped though, (Y/N) notices that Vert's breasts would bounce up and down each time they landed back on the ground and he was trying his best not to be distracted by them.
Vert: These types of games are fun. . . well every once in a while.
(Y/N): (E-Every time we jump up and down. . . her boobs. . . they. . . No! Stop, (Y/N)! Don't think about it too hard or you'll lose your focus!)
Vert does indeed notice (Y/N) starting a bit as she gives him a rather mischievous look.
Vert: *giggles* You had best keep your eyes on the screen.
(Y/N) does so, however by the time they reach the end of the little race that they had, he was already beaten by Vert who cheers a little bit at her victory, however even though (Y/N) lost that little round with Vert, his heart for some reason kept telling him that he was okay with it. Later on, (Y/N) was sitting down on the couch right in front of the screen waiting for Vert to get back with something that she had for the both of them. Once she does, Vert comes back with a pair of glasses and hands one of them to (Y/N) which confused him a bit.
(Y/N): Um. . . what are these for?
Vert: Those pair that I just gave you are a special kind of gaming glasses that I bought not too long ago. They said it has special lenses that allow you to look at a screen for a long period of time without falling asleep or getting an eye infection.
(Y/N): Wait. . . are you telling me that we're about to play for hours on here?! What game is that long?!
Vert: There is no prolonged game of sorts that I had specifically planned. . . well maybe there is, but I was thinking that we would go to play my most favorite MMO of all. . .
(Y/N) & Vert: 4 Goddesses Online!
Vert: *giggles* That is correct. It appears that with me keeping you here, we have gotten to know each other quite more than we realize.
(Y/N): Um, actually, the gaming part that you always talk about is obvious enough that you like it. . . no, you love it!
Vert: Well, I do suppose that is quite the blatant fact about me. In that case, I shall ask you something (Y/N). What kind of lifestyle did you have back in Planeptune compared to what you are living right now?
(Y/N): Nothing too special really. I'm mostly just your average school kid that hangs out with friends from time to time.
(Y/N) then looks away from Vert with a rather dejected look on his face.
(Y/N): (But. . . those dreams. . . I know both of my friends and my foster parents really well, but. . . something is telling me that what I'm seeing in those dreams. . . might be real. . .)
Vert notices (Y/N) change in his mood with a concerned look.
Vert: Oh? Did something rather tragic in your mind come up? I would completely understand it if you would rather not talk about it.
(Y/N) shakes his head and gives Vert a relieved smile.
(Y/N): No, no, no. It's nothing. Nothing at all.
Vert raises an eyebrow from that as she could definitely tell that (Y/N) was lying, but she decided to let it go nonetheless as her smile returns as well.
Vert: Very well. . . in that case. . .
Vert puts on her glasses too and looks around in them quite a bit.
Vert: It has been awhile since I've worn these, but I do feel intelligent when I put these on. It is an encouraging feeling. What do you think?
(Y/N): Honestly. . . you look better without the glasses, but that's just my opinion.
Vert: Hm. I thought so. Many of the other CPUs said the same thing. However, they say it makes me look rather. . . geeky.
(Y/N): Well for me, I just feel like it isn't necessary for you to wear glasses when you don't need them. Also. . . I like it better when you show your face, Vert.
Vert smirks from that as she takes off her glasses and leans in towards (Y/N)'s face with a seductive look making him blush up a storm.
Vert: Is that so~? Tell me then, what is it like with my face right up close to yours~?
Vert was literally inches away from (Y/N) as he was speechless from being this close to a mature looking CPU like Vert. He couldn't speak at all as in his head he couldn't take his eyes off of Vert's rather beautiful face with her breasts in his sight too.
Eventually, Vert giggles as she backs up away from (Y/N) letting him catch his breath as he looks away from Vert a little really embarrassed from her charming techniques. It makes wonder if she has tried that similar tactic on other men as well.
Vert: Hehe, did your heart skip a beat~? Do not fear, that was only a test~
(Y/N): A test of what? To see if I would fall for you or something?
Vert: Maybe~
This gives (Y/N) an idea as he smirks rather mischievously.
(Y/N): How about we do something more extreme with that test?
Vert: Hm? What do you have in mind?
(Y/N): Why don't we bet on whether or not you'll fall for me? The loser will listen to whatever the winner has to say. Well, that doesn't mean we can say "anything" but. . .
Vert: Hmhmhmm. That sounds fine with me, but if that's all there is to it, it isn't very interesting. I think it would be more interesting to bet on something with an unknown result.
(Y/N): Uh, like. . .?
Vert: Shall we bet on whether I will fall for you, or that you will fall for me first?
(Y/N): Huh. That is more interesting. Alright, I'm in.
Vert: We shall see if I fall for you first.
(Y/N): Or if I fall for you.
Vert: Alright. Setting that aside, let us continue 4 Goddesses Online.
(Y/N): Wait, really?
Vert: If you show me that your skills at this game can best me, then perhaps I may fall for you just a little bit. However, the way you described how you play. You sound to be like an amateur.
(Y/N): *smirks* Hmph. We'll see about that.
(Y/N) puts on a competitive look as both Vert and (Y/N) start playing 4 Goddesses Online to show each other their skills in the MMO. Vert was of course more skilled in the game than (Y/N) was as she predicted, but (Y/N) wasn't going to let that wear him down as he kept playing regardless. The more he played though, the more he would also look at Vert's competitive look on her face as he smiles.
(Y/N): (I play games a lot, and so does Vert. But she's also very dependable. . . I really like that about Vert. . . Wait, no! I shouldn't be thinking about things like that too soon as we're still on our bet. . . However, something tells me that I think I already lost.)
As he keeps playing with that thought in mind, (Y/N) doesn't notice that his watch showed the symbol of the Sharicite and it had a tint of green on it. He has been able to fully bond with three goddesses in a row and now just one remains left. . . back in Planeptune.
Subplot End.
