Third P.O.V.

May 22, 20XX

Location: Planeptune Restaurant

Time: Afternoon

As promised to the entire group, (Y/N) was the one who paid for all of the food that the group. They were all currently sitting down over at a table enjoying the assorted food that was set out for them. Of course to no one's surprise, Neptune ordered a ton of pudding for her plate. However, while things were supposed to be casual, IF decides to bring up the conversation that she wanted to say.

IF: It's great that we're all able to resist the Virus Empire and all, but we're still lacking on some information on how get to the reactor that the soldiers of this nation are hiding in.

Nepgear: True, I did patrol the grasslands from above, but I didn't see any suspicious activity of the Virus Empire at all. Do you think that they probably planned ahead for all of this?

IF: Most likely. Histoire and that imprisoned soldier gave us all the intel that we need. So now all we need to do is destroy the reactor core and Planeptune will remain safe from viruses.

B-Sha takes a scoop of some ice cream that she had in a bowl and eats it before speaking up.

B-Sha: You guys are hunting down those Virus terrorists, right? I've been doing a decent job at keeping them out of the city. Not many come and attack, but when they do I'm able to blow them back up from where they came from.

(Y/N) was eating some curry and mashed potatoes and takes a bite of his food off off of a spoon.

(Y/N): *munching* Do you know exactly where they're coming from. . .?

B-Sha: Not really. . . I've just scouting dungeons looking to see if some monsters hold a lot of credits that I can snatch from them.

IF: *sighs* Greedy as usual. . .

IF says this as she picks up a sandwich that she got for her plate and takes a small bite of it. Neptune was eating her pudding happily while leaning on (Y/N)'s shoulder which he didn't seem to care too much about.

(Insert Opening Here)

Neptune: It's still nice that we're all having a cool social gathering like this, thanks our new edition to the group.

(Y/N) looks at Neptune leaning on him and sweatdrops from it.

(Y/N): Neptune, I know you're trying to feel relaxed, but can I least eat my food while having my personal space as well?

Neptune: Nope! Your bare arms make the area that I'm sitting at more comfortable! Deal with it, soldier!

Compa looks at Neptune with an intrigued look.

Compa: Do you really feel more relaxed in that position, Nep-Nep?

Neptune: Of course! You're taking his other side, so why don't take the left while I take the right?

(Y/N) was a little surprised that Neptune suggested that before turning to Compa.

(Y/N): Please don't. . . I'm not a recliner. . .

Neptune: You're my recliner!

(Y/N) rolls his eyes and sighs from that before continuing to eat his food. Nepgear gives a nervous laugh at Neptune's antics.

Nepgear: Sorry if my sister is bothering you like this now you're more of a fighter, (Y/N).

(Y/N): It's no big deal. I never said that I didn't like it. I'm just still getting used to Nep being Nep.

(Y/N) looks down at Neptune eating her pudding with a beaming smile on her face and seeing that smile on her face made him smile as he knows for a fact that if there is one thing that Neptune is good at, it's making others happy.

(Y/N): (You may not be the most serious CPU. . . but I like that you know how to set the mood. . . That's one of the things that I admired about you my whole life.)

It didn't take Neptune long to notice that (Y/N) was staring at her and she quickly faces him confused.

Neptune: Hey, what's up?

(Y/N) then notices that he's been staring at Neptune and looks away from her with a blush on his face.

(Y/N): N-Nothing. . .

Neptune smirks mischievously at (Y/N) blushing and decides to mess with him.

Neptune: You're thinking of something lewd, aren't you~?

(Y/N) got flustered hearing Neptune say that which made her laugh at (Y/N)'s reaction to that.

(Y/N): H-Hell no!! What made you think that?!

Neptune: Hahahahaha! Nothing, but seeing you make that face gave me a good laugh!

(Y/N) puts both of his hands on his head for falling for that little gag that Neptune did and immediately decided to change the subject.

(Y/N): G-Getting back to the Virus Empire. . . Where could they be hiding if they're not in any dungeon on the land?

Nepgear: Good question. . .

B-Sha: Well we know that they're able to get "on the land." We just need to know how they're doing it.

Neptune: You think they're teleporting? Cuz' that's one way to do it.

IF: I'd doubt that since they could've retreated like that many times. . . It has to somewhere we haven't looked yet.

Neptune: Everyone, put on your thinking caps! This investigation team is about to go into deep thinking mode!

Everyone at the table nodded as (Y/N) and Nepgear took a sip of water before trying to think of all of the clues that they got of where the Virus soldiers could be hiding in Planeptune. The thinking went on for a couple of minutes, but everyone was still in silence as nothing came up.

IF: Anyone got any leads. . .?

Neptune: Not me. . .

(Y/N): Nope. . .

Compa shakes her head to deny that too.

B-Sha: Nothing. . .

Nepgear: *sighs* It appears we don't have enough information or clues. Maybe we should investigate some more.

Neptune: What's the point. . .? Every inch of the land has been scouted, and there's no sign of them anywhere.

(Y/N): Back to square one I guess. . .

IF sighs from that before pulling out one of her phones and starts digging on something that she was looking at. (Y/N) was a little interested into it.

(Y/N): Whatcha looking at there, Iffy?

IF: Nothing, just some news. There's also been a huge amount of sinkholes seen at dungeons as well. Once they're made, they get patched up quickly so that we don't have much ravines in the area.

(Y/N) was confused by that description and it gave him a thought in his mind.

(Y/N): (Sinkholes. . .?)

It was only a couple of seconds before it came to realization to (Y/N) that the sinkholes maybe a way that the Virus soldiers are hiding in. He stands up and slams his hands on the table.

(Y/N): I've got it!!

Everybody that was in the restaurant turned to where (Y/N) was when he yelled and he blushes a little from the sudden outburst that he did before sitting back down.

(Y/N): Heh heh, sorry. . . What I meant to say is, IF you may have just given us the answer to where they're hiding.

IF looks at (Y/N) concerned from that.

IF: Really? What did I say?

(Y/N): Those sinkholes. I think that's how those soldiers are entering the base. They're underground.

IF: Wait. . . you're right. That's makes a ton of sense!

Compa: If they're underground, they wouldn't have anyway to give a lot of traces of where they came from, especially if it's in a forest.

B-Sha: A giant hole also really isn't that suspicious in dungeons, so it does explain why people also just ignored them and also why it didn't seem much of a big deal.

IF: So we know now of how they're getting in and out, but we still need a plan.

Nepgear: Of course, but. . . I don't think a place like this is really the best for making a plan.

Neptune: Nep Jr.'s right. Let's finish our grub so we can get the brain food to think of how we're going to take on our enemy.

Everyone agrees to that as they continue to finish their meals that they were served. (Y/N) was almost done with his plate, but not before he felt his left arm in between two soft objects and he notices that Compa's latched onto his arm with her breasts touching as well which was making (Y/N) blush hard.

Compa: Nep-Nep is right. Your arms do feel very comfy, (N/N).

(Y/N): Th-Thanks, I guess. . .

(Y/N) looks across from him and gestures for IF, Nepgear, and B-Sha to help him out, however each of them gave him a look that said to just deal with it for now. It didn't stop there as Neptune leans back on (Y/N)'s right arm and he hangs his head down in defeat before sighing that he's going to have to go through with this.

IF's P.O.V.

Location: Planeptune's Basilicom

Time: Evening

After taking the time that we need to relax, we decided to head back to the Basilicom so that we could discuss our plan of attack of taking down the Virus Empire's army in Planeptune. I'm not going to lie, this is probably going to be tough, but we already knew from their stealth skills that they're not going to be easy to take down. We were also able to fill Histoire on our situation as well and she got the grasp of the situation very well.

Histoire: I see. They're hiding underground in sinkholes.

IF: And they're able to leave no traces behind since there's probably a ton of dirt around to just patch it right back up. It explains how we weren't able to find them for weeks.

(Y/N): I do have a question though. How can a base that holds a reactor be deep underground like that? I mean I'm more impressed that they were able to it in such a short amount of time.

Nepgear: Me too. They're technology intellect must be high, I could learn a thing or two from them.

Neptune: Throwing that aside, we're going to have to go spelunking if we want to catch those goons. I'll need a shovel and blue knight armor.

(Y/N): Neptune. . . That'll take too long, we just have to find one of their entrances and we'll be able to get into the reactor.

IF: We'll. . . yeah if you want to do it the orthodox way. . . However, we can't just barge in there in a full frontal assault.

Neptune: Aw, why not Iffy? That's how we enter the dungeons all of the time.

IF: Maybe, but we need a plan if we're going to be prepared to face hundreds of soldiers.

B-Sha: What if we go inside and one of us can make as much noise as we can to distract the soldiers from hunting the ones who's going to the reactor core?

Histoire: You're idea has merits, B-Sha, but sadly you will be in a secluded place underground and there is no telling what direction the soldiers can ambush you from.

Neptune: I've got an idea. . . What if some of us goes undercover to guide the rest to where the reactor is?

We all look at Nep as we definitely knew that was a bad idea too.

Neptune: What. . .? How can undercover be a bad choice?

Compa: Um, Nep-Nep. We don't have any disguises and being undercover requires a lot of self-control. . .

IF: Something that Nep herself barely even has. . .

Neptune: Aw, come on. If you give me a disguise kit, it would've been the perfect cover! The soldiers wouldn't be able to tell a difference!

Histoire: Does anyone else have any bright ideas that they would like to share?

Everyone around looks at each other, but nothing came out. Looks like raiding a base with a perfect plan is harder than you would originally anticipate. I'd kind of want the usual frontal assault like Nep suggested, but this isn't our typical criminal that's not even good at stealing games. It took a minute, but then we finally got someone to speak up amongst the silence.

(Y/N): I've got an idea. . .

Everyone looks at (Y/N) a little surprised from when he said that. What idea could this kid possibly have that debunks the other ideas that we all just made?

(Y/N): I'll be honest. . . It's not a good plan and kind of a thoughtless one. However, if we do this, maybe there will be a chance that we can infiltrate without causing too much commotion.

Histoire: Very well, (Y/N). We're listening. . .

(Y/N) nods and he looks at everyone else who looked to be on par with what he was about to say as well.

The Next Day. . .

May 23, 20XX

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

Location: Grasslands

Time: Night

It took a lot of convincing from some of the others, especially IF, but they knew that even with the odds we needed to go along with this plan. Neptune went along with my plan to no one's surprise since like I said, I just brought it up into my mind without too much thinking. We thought that the best time to go and infiltrate the location would be nighttime since there would most likely be less people around and the vision wouldn't be as good either. Right now I was only with Iffy walking to the last known location of where the last sinkhole was. She was giving me somewhat of a serious look.

IF: I'm more surprised that Nep didn't come up with this plan. You do realize how much we'll be in trouble if this doesn't work, right?

(Y/N): I know, but I'm willing to take the odds if it means that we can stop the soldiers from filling Planeptune with Virus energy and liberating it too. Plus, if I didn't volunteer in the first place then who knows how long it would take. I just went with what my gut was telling me.

IF: I'm kind of starting to think that you've been hanging with Nep too much. She pretty much does the same thing. . . or sometimes even go headfirst into situations too. Out of all of the other options that you could think of, you decided to go with this reckless one?

(Y/N): Sometimes you've gotta be reckless if you want to get things done. If you keep trying to stay back and play it safe, then the situation might get worse.

Iffy stops for a second and looks at me with a little astonishment with what I just said.

IF: Guess that explains why you charged headfirst into the fight yesterday in Planeptune alone.

(Y/N): Don't think of that as me being stubborn. It just kind of pissed me off that those soldiers were about to tear down an entire building. I wanted a little vengeance for them putting my friends lives in danger at school.

IF stares off into space for a second before she decides to ask me another question.

IF: Hey (Y/N). . . How come you want to fight so much. . .?

(Y/N): Why do you ask?

IF: You literally had the opportunity to just go home and let us take care of things, but you choose to fight alongside us. Why is that. . .?

I look away pondering my answer to that question out of the blue. Iffy was right though, I could've just quit this weeks ago and here I am now putting my life on the line for the world. I did tell my classmates at school that Neptune really inspired me. . . but there was really much more than that. . . a bigger reason that I fight. As the thought came into my mind, a minor shock got sent into my head making me hold it in slight agony. I look straight ahead into the forest and I see a figure levitating forwards and it looked to have some pigtails in their hair. Not only that, but another and different ran through my head.

???: (In (Y/N)'s Mind) Is this really the best decision. . .?! You're giving your life away for us you know!!

Another voice then ran through my head and. . . it sounded like me, but in a more mature tone.

(Y/N)?: (It's the only way! I have no other choice!)

That was apparently the end of the voices as I could feel IF put her hand on my right shoulder and she looks at me with some concern on her face.

IF: (Y/N)? . . .You okay?

I look at IF for a second before getting serious and shaking my head.

(Y/N): It's nothing. . . Come on. . .

IF: Hold on!

I turn to IF who pulls out something from one of her pockets and it was a pistol similar to hers. She tosses it to me which I catch with my right hand and look at it with confusion.

(Y/N): A gun. . .?

IF: When that goon almost got you yesterday, I thought it would be reasonable to get you a ranged weapon. That way you can stick to the sidelines if things get too intense for you.

That's actually pretty neat. . . I really don't need a gun that much since I'll be going into close quarters most of the time, but it can still be useful I guess. I inspect the pistol a little bit before I get ready to put it in my pockets. . . only to see that I don't have any pockets. I was in deep confusion to where I should put this and I look at IF for an answer.

IF: Just put it in your inventory.

(Y/N): My inventory. . .?

IF: Well. . . from what I experienced with Nep. . . I would imagine it as your own game menu. Just think and it should come up.

I take a look at the pistol and took a deep breath before doing what Iffy just described. I've seen many abnormal things happen already, so why would she lie about this? It took a second, but I then see my own inventory right in front of me which surprised me. I look at IF and by my looks, she could tell that I succeeded. I then make the pistol disappear into my inventory and close it before we both decided to journey on forward and find the soldiers so that we could initiate the plan in action to destroy the base.

It didn't take too long, but we finally found a group of soldiers going towards an area. IF and I nod that it was time to go into action and we run after them. When we got close enough, we hid ourselves behind a large rock to prevent ourselves from being seen. I then look at my watch and use the new communicator function that Nepgear gave me and decided to call Neptune who picked up.

(Y/N): This is (Y/N) to Nep. (Y/N) to Nep. Do you copy? Over.

Neptune (Communicator): Loud and clear, (N/N). Have you found some soldier boys yet? Over.

(Y/N): Yeah, Iffy and I have spotted some in an open area that looks to be stalling for some reason. What about you, Nepgear, B-Sha, and Compa? Over.

Neptune (Communicator): Compa and B-Sha took their own path, but we've found our squad as well. We're ready to go in once the time is right. Over.

Nepgear (Communicator): Um, I still don't get why we have to say "over." We're not exactly using walkie-talkies. . . and we're not cops.

Neptune (Communicator): Nep Jr., any adventure needs some style to go along with it. And undercover cops is exactly the type of topic that we decided to go for in this scene.

(Y/N): *sighs* Nepgear is right in a way though. I don't think undercover cops is the best tactic to use in this scenario.

Neptune (Communicator): Well, I just wanted to spice things up a bit! Over, (N/N).

(Y/N): "Over" is the last thing you say. . . Ugh! Never mind. . . Does everyone remember how the plan works?

Nepgear (Communicator): Yes, I'm taking a peek at the soldiers that we're investigating now and they're still just stationary.

I take a peek from behind the rock at the soldiers that Iffy and I were spying on and they weren't really moving from their spot either. That must mean that these are definitely the sinkhole spots.

(Y/N): Okay everyone get ready. Operation: "Bring down the hell house" is about to be a go.

IF gives a weird look from that title and I sweatdrop.

(Y/N): That. . . didn't sound as good as it did in my head.

IF: I'll bet. . .

(Y/N): Okay, we'll see you girls inside. Be careful.

Neptune (Communicator): Roger doger, (N/N). Don't worry (N/N), I'll be fine. I'm the main character after all.

I roll my eyes from that joke and hang up on Neptune before taking a peek back at the soldiers ahead of Iffy and I. This time we see that a soldier was talking on his own communicator and that gave us a feeling that they're getting ready to enter, so it was game time. IF brings out her Qatars and I pull out my sword. We both look at each other and nod before we came out of hiding and charged towards the group of virus soldiers. They immediately noticed us and were alarmed that we came out of nowhere.

Virus Solider: Wh-Who in the hell?!

One of the soldiers pulled out their gun and started shooting at us.

Virus Soldier 2: Exterminate those stowaways!

The soldiers then started shooting at us as Iffy and I were running towards them. I do a front flip forwards before I slice a soldier into oblivion in just two strong swings. I roll the right to avoid a kick and I sweep this soldier's legs to knock it off balance before knocking it away with one swing overhead.

IF took care of her side as she blocks some of the bullets with her Qatars and she rolls forward before using Soul Combination on the soldier to her left. The soldier to her right was about to attack her, but IF knew about this and she turns around before sending a back kick to the soldier's chest knocking him back a bit. All she needed to do was finish him off as she lunged forward with one swing of her left Qatar.

With the small battle being over, we both looked at each other and nodded before we stepped right into the center of where the soldiers were standing hoping for the sinkhole to open and give us the chance to infiltrate the base.

IF: Get ready to brace for impact.

(Y/N): Got it.

That warning was helpful as after a few seconds the ground beneath shook a bit before a large hole opened up quickly below us. We sunk down not too far under the ground and I figured that this was time to put my new energy skills to the test as I balled up my left fist and focused energy into my watch. I then quickly grabbed IF's hand and thanks to my new power, I was now levitating in the air and I slowly descended down to what we could see to be a metal surface.

Once we landed on the ground, we see that the tech around the reactor base was pretty advanced to how Planeptune is too. Despite that we could smell some smoke coming from sections of the base, we could definitely tell that this place was a reactor.

IF: Okay, we're in. Now what?

(Y/N): Phase 2. . . Come on, let's go.

Iffy follows me as we begin our infiltration of the base. We ran through the corridor and took a left at one section. Once we were near a corner, we heard some footsteps approaching, so we both hid behind a wooden crate that said "Fragile" on it and waited until the soldiers pass so that we can storm on through. However, Iffy was inspecting the crate and she had me a little curious.

IF: What could be so delicate that they have something like this lying in the middle of the hall?

I just shrug my shoulders in response to that as I would have no idea either.

(Y/N): Hell if I know. Wanna inspect it?

IF nods as she uses one of her Qatars to slice the top of the crate and once we took the lid off, we saw some that caught our eyes. Inside of the crate, there were these weird red vials that looked to be just a bit lighter than blood. I don't know what weird ass experiment that they've got planned, but I know for sure that it can't be good.

(Y/N): What's this. . .?

IF: Beats me. . . But it looks kinda important.

IF takes one of the vials and inspects it a bit. Both of us took a closer look and see that there was a small little crystal inside of the vial. IF was a little surprised of what was in there while I was still concerned.

(Y/N): What's that inside of it?

IF: If I had to guess. . . I would say it's like a fragment of an Anti-Crystal.

(Y/N): Anti-Crystal. . .? Are they like a bad version of Share crystals?

IF: *nods* Since you have Share energy inside of you, I wouldn't recommend touching it. These things can prevent Nep and the other goddesses from transforming. And they can even weaken them in the process too. No wonder their called the Virus Empire. Looks like the reactors are what's making these spread around the area.

(Y/N): Then the more they make, the less power that we'll have to stop them. We have to destroy that reactor core. . .

IF: Yeah, let's keep going. I don't where Nep or Compa is, but I hope that they can regroup with us.

(Y/N): I know you've known Neptune longer than I have, but seeing her in action. . . I don't have a lot of doubts.

IF: Neither do I.

We both ran in the direction that the soldiers passed us as we were pretty sure that they would probably lead us to some more clues on where the reactor core is. So far the soldiers didn't seem that they knew that there were hostile threats here waiting to blow the shit out of them. IF did teach me a little on espionage, so I'm using some of her skills to my advantage over the enemy.

We made it to another corner in the distance that turns to the right just up ahead and once we ran forward we both saw an empty corridor up ahead with no soldiers which actually made me smirk a little. Honestly, I was expecting a pack of them to just be guarding the entire place, but instead they're probably just wandering all over the place doing their tasks.

(Y/N): Heh, this should be easy.

IF looks at me, but then get's an uneasy look on her face.

IF: You say that, but the way we're invading the base doesn't feel right for some reason.

(Y/N): What do you mean?

IF: Usually a place like this is guarded heavily with soldiers and there were also a lot scattered over Planeptune when they came in for the first time. It doesn't feel right that there isn't really many soldiers here.

(Y/N): If you want action, I'm sure there will be more of them on a lower level. Don't worry too much. . .

IF looks at me astonished by how I can stay calm at a time like this. I wasn't tense or anything, in fact I felt more excited that I'm about to kick some ass as a soldier. We ran down the corridor carefully spotting any soldiers that may try and get in our way, but there was none.

IF get's the same uneasy feeling that she had a second ago and decided to look all around her for anything suspicious. She looks all around the place before she takes a good look at one thing that looked to be pointed at us and I didn't even notice.

IF stops in her tracks which made me stop as well.

(Y/N): What's up, Iffy?

IF doesn't respond and takes a very hard look on the thing that was pointed at us. It looked to be rectangular with a red glowing circle aimed at us. Once the circle enlarges it's iris, IF's eyes widened in shock and she immediately started running and I ran after her confused.

(Y/N): Iffy! Wait up! What was that all about?!

IF turned to me with a serious look while still running like crazy.

IF: They know we're here! They just wanted us to think that we didn't!!

My eyes popped open from that as I started running as fast as she was too. They knew we were here?! Why didn't they sound the alarms?! All I know now is that my plan is starting to fail and we look like sitting ducks now from the looks of it. If the soldiers are not out to get us, then that clearly means that they're instead trying to ambush us.

Once we took a right at another section, we went through the doors and once we went through, we were met with something that IF and I weren't expecting to see at all. There were apparently hundreds of soldiers right in front of us and they already had guns pointed at both of us and swords drawn out as well. I pull out my sword preparing for a fight, but just when I did that, we heard the sounds of more guns charging and we turned around to see that we were indeed ambushed from behind.

IF: Dammit! Just when I thought that this was actually working! I knew we should've went with a different plan!

(Y/N): It was a unanimous decision! You agreed to this too, y'know!

IF looked like she wanted to argue with me on that, but she did indeed know that I was right. While she was along with Histoire and Nepgear were the ones who were unsure, Neptune, B-Sha, and Compa agreed to my terms, so the majority won. However, looks like splitting up in groups and reuniting in one place was a bad idea after all.

Virus Soldier: Yield your weapons and put your hands in the air!

(Y/N): Screw you. . .!

The wasn't the right response to go with at all as I felt a laser shot on my back making me grunt out in pain a bit. IF puts her hand on my shoulder and I look to see that she has a serious look on her face.

IF: We've got no other options! Let's just go along with it for now!

I sigh from that and I put my sword on my back before we both had our hands up in the air signaling our surrender.

Location: Virus Reactor Base, Depths

Those stupid soldiers made us walk down a ton of stairs and once we went through another door, we entered a place that looked to have a large interior. IF and I looked around amazed at how deep and large this base is. One of the soldiers ruined our little sightseeing though and pushed me forward with his foot making me glare at him.

Virus Soldier: General, we've caught them!

???: And they walked right into the lion's den.

I heard that serious voice which gave me a worried look.

(Y/N): Oh no. . .

Iffy and I looked to our left to see that on top of platform slightly above us. . . there was that elite looking soldier that was commanding all of the soldiers here in Planeptune. IF got him a serious glare.

IF: General Hijack, I presume. . .?

General Hijack: So you two aren't that dumb. . . good. That'll make this way more enjoyable. It's pathetic to see that the snobby guild agent and the wannabe hero boy thought that they could raid our base.

He then turns his attention to the troops that he was leading.

General Hijack: The ones on the front line, stay with me. The rest of you go and guard the reactor core.

The soldiers did what they were told as there were still some soldiers behind us pointing their guns at me and Iffy while some others walked up the stairs to join General Hijack. However, I was mostly surprised by the comment that he just made.

(Y/N): You knew about our plan to blow up the reactor?!

General Hijack: I told you boy. I always try to complete my missions without any flaws at all. That's my motto when commanding the Virus Empire. However, you two are indeed going to be huge flaws in our plans with the goal that you had in mind to protect the goddesses. That is intolerable. Honestly, if I had another one of the generals here, he would talk your ears off. Enough, about them though. It's time for some bloodshed. . .

The general points his gun at me making me tense up even more than I already was. Trust me, I'm already sweating from the situation that we're in.

General Hijack: Two pathetic humans trying to take over a base? That isn't much of a plan at all as those numbers don't add up to ours.

IF and I look at each other before taking a deep breath and back at Hijack.

IF: I won't lie. . . you're right. Two humans isn't enough at all. . .

(Y/N): BUT. . . you miscounted. . .

General Hijack lowers his gun from that.

General Hijack: . . .What?

(Y/N): You forgot to count that there are actually THREE humans, two CPUs. . . and one of the Gold Third.

General Hijack: . . .The Gold Third?

IF: *smirks* Yep!

I then instantly turn around.

(Y/N): NOW B-SHA!!!

That was the signal as the credit-loving Gold Third hops out of her hiding spot and starts shooting rockets at all of the soldiers surrounding us.

B-Sha: BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

All of the soldiers around us then got blown the shit out of them and scattered everywhere while General Hijack stared in shock before pointing his gun as us again.

General Hijack: KILL THEM ALL!!!

IF and I reacted to the shots that were being fired at us and we both rolled off to the sides avoiding them. IF quickly looks up to her left and sees a soldier jumping down towards her with a sword in his hand. She quickly pulls out her Qatars to block the strike and was knocked back a little. I was running in the opposite direction to find cover and I dove behind a small metal cart that was holding some weapons. I summoned the new pistol that IF gave me and took a deep breath.

(Y/N): (There are some places that a sword can't reach. . .)

I stand up a little to peek out from behind the cart and started shooting some of the soldiers that were targeting me and one by one they were all going down. I missed a couple of shots, but it wasn't that big of a deal. The soldiers on the platform then decided that they should get up close and personal with me as well as they jumped down to confront me while pulling out some swords.

Meanwhile, at another location, two soldiers were fleeing from the fight and went to go and try to sound the alarms. But that wasn't about to happen and both of them got a sword slash to the face and the ones responsible for that were Neptune and Nepgear.

Neptune: Ha ha! Nepped ya!

Nepgear: Come on, let's go and help the others.

Neptune nods in agreement to that as they both ran in the direction of where they heard all of the commotion going on.

IF was handling a soldier close quarters as she exchanged some sword hits with one. She evades one swing by ducking, but that left her an opening from the bottom as when she tried to stand back up, the soldier body blows her on the stomach before doing a roundhouse kick to her face knocking her back a little.

IF wasn't about to give up easily though as she kicks the soldier softly on the side twice before trying to strike with her Qatar once more. She misses and the soldier grabs her arm before slamming her to a wall making her grunt in pain. The soldier then grabs the back of IF's coat and throws her to the ground. Before he could make a follow up attack from that, a needle is pierced right through his chest and the person responsible for that is Compa as she joined the fight as well. The soldier disappears into bits and Compa walks up to help IF off of her feet.

Compa: You okay, Iffy?

IF: Yeah, thanks Compa.

More soldiers started to ambush them as IF got in a fighting stance with a serious look on her face.

IF: These guys are tough, so let's fight them seriously, okay?

Compa: Mm-hmm. We'll beat them uppy.

While IF and Compa were engaging in their battle, I was stuck taking care of my own squad with B-Sha as I block a sword that was trying to strike me by the legs. I throw the soldier off knocking them back and I pulled out my gun from my right hand and fired two shots, but missed. I really need some aim training with these new tools. The soldier runs back at me as we clashed swords once more, I follow up with a kick overhead which the soldier ducks under and pushes me back too. I charge some energy into my body to increase my agility and I did a nimble backflip to regain my footing.

B-Sha: Hey (N/N)! Fire in the hole!

I didn't have time to react to what B-Sha meant by that as I blown back by the splash explosion of a rocket that hit it point blank. I was knocked to the ground slightly hurt from that explosion and I glared at B-Sha.

(Y/N): Can you give me a heads up EARLIER than that?!

B-Sha: Heh heh. . . Sorry. . . Wasn't thinking straight there. . . Oh, by the way, 500 credits for me helping out. . .

That earned B-Sha a whack on the head from me and she rubs it in slight pain. I didn't say anything and continued to give her a death glare while she had her hands up in defense.

B-Sha: K-Kidding! I was kidding, okay?!

(Y/N): *sarcastically* Sure, it was. . . Can we please focus on the fact that we still have about a dozen Virus soldiers to take care that really want to kick our asses?!

B-Sha then sees one approaching me from behind and her eyes widened.

B-Sha: Watch out behind you!

I immediately duck to avoid to a sword that was getting ready to slice my head off, but I got kicked in the ass instead and fell on B-Sha.

(Y/N): Oh, come on. . .! And I literally just said "kick our asses"!

The soldier was about to follow up another attack on us, but not before someone yells out a move.

Nepgear: Mirage Dance!

Nepgear does a skill on the soldier which was four sword slashes in a cute little rhythmic dance before she follows up with one final slice on him. With that soldier taken care of, she extends her hand to help me off of the ground which I accept.

Nepgear: Sorry, if we didn't get here sooner. Honestly, this place is kind of like a maze underground.

We heard Neptune let out a grunt of effort as she takes care of another soldier and turns to us when Nepgear said that.

Neptune: We've had our fair performance with mazes once. I remembered that when we were trying to go to the Zero Dimension, the other CPUs and I got confronted with monsters, so I denotated a bomb that Nep-Jr. made and blocked off the entrance. Ha ha! I remember the faces of the other CPUs! They were priceless when I did it unexpectedly!

Neptune continues laughing while I was confused and turned to Nepgear.

(Y/N): Is she serious. . .?

Nepgear: Yep. . . You can ask any of the other CPUs. She actually did that without a warning.

Neptune: Well not like I had much of a choice. . . The bomb from that time was like blowing up ten charged creepers. If only the grids that were on the walls turned into blocks.

A gunshot is then heard as we turn to see IF and Compa holding their ground against their soldiers. IF does a cartwheel towards us and shoots another soldier.

IF: Can you guys quit it with your dimensional crap and help us?! We can't hold too much of these guys!

Neptune: No prob Iffy! Nep and her heroic sidekicks are coming to the rescue!

(Y/N): *sweatdrops* (Technically you're the sidekick here since I came up with the plan in the first place. . .)

After that, I jump down to strike another soldier with Slamming Surge while B-Sha does a front flip and she uses B-Sha Kick to knock another soldier out of the ring with an explosion to go off with it.

It took a few more minutes, but we were able to defeat the entire ambush of soldiers that were surrounding us. I place my sword on my back and everyone else put their weapons back in their inventories.

Compa: Phew! All of those mister soldiers really made me sweat a little. . .

IF: These have got to be the most intelligent type of monsters that we've faced yet. They look like they don't even have brains, yet they're super skilled in combat.

Neptune: Eh, sometimes you just meet a mindless looking beast that turns out to have the brains to make their own suits of armor to counter other suits of armor.

I look at Neptune with a weird look from that.

(Y/N): Neptune. . . The soldiers that we're facing is no where close to a dragon in Metroid. . .

Neptune: Should I get us all suits of armor then to make it more in that vibe?

Everyone else: NO!

Neptune: Whoa! Okay. . . No need to gang up on the heroine.

IF: Focus, you idiot! The soldiers took us many levels under the ground now, the general escaped, and we have no idea where to get in or out now! How will we know when we find this reactor core thing, anyway?!

Nepgear: Hey everyone. . . Over here.

We all turned to see Nepgear looking over a balcony and we walked down towards her to see what she was looking at.

Compa: What is it, Ge-Ge?

Nepgear: Look all the way down there.

We all look over the balcony to see that there was apparently a large metallic device at the bottom of floor that was several stories high and we see that it was pumping some red liquidy-like substance like how a heart pumps blood through the human body. If my instincts are correct, I think that we have found our target.

(Y/N): That's gotta be it. There's no way something that large couldn't be important to this whole place.

Neptune then gives a triumphant smile at IF.

Neptune: Ha! Straight out of the cat's mouth, Iffy!

IF: *scowls* Oh, grow up. . .

Compa: So if that's the reactor core. . . How will we destroy it?

B-Sha: I've got an idea~

We all look at B-Sha as she had her rocket launcher out ready to blow the place up which made us all look at her with worried looks and we kept denying her to not do it. However B-Sha just giggles and puts her rocket away.

B-Sha: I'm joking. . . We'd probably have like only one minute to escape and this entire place is underground, so I doubt that if I blew it up, we'll make it out alive.

Nepgear: *nervous laugh* Thank goodness. I have a better. . . less risky idea.

(Y/N): Well, it took a miracle for mine to work to get inside safely. . . What's yours Nepgear?

Nepgear: Remember how Neptune mentioned earlier that she used some explosives that she took from me?

(Y/N): You mean you have more of those things?!

Nepgear: Well, I only made one just in case of something like this would happen and what do you know. . . We can blow up the reactor core and detonate it safely without any inconveniences.

I smile at Nepgear's logic of thinking ahead in this situation.

(Y/N): Nice job, Nepgear. Way to think ahead in this situation. Guess you're not just smart with tech.

Nepgear: *giggles* Thanks, (Y/N).

IF: So we just plant this, make a run for the entrance and blow the place up? Seems simple enough. . .

Neptune: I'm feeling some foreshadowing though. . .

IF: What idiotic nonsense are you saying now?

Neptune: Just a Nep feeling that's all.

I raised an eyebrow at Neptune's logic, but shrug my shoulders as that's just how she is. She really loves to spice up serious situations and it's almost weird. We all then decided to run off and find somewhere to get down to the bottom level of the reactor core so that we can blow it up.

Neptune's P.O.V

Location: Virus Reactor Base, Reactor Core

It wasn't too long of a walk, but we finally made it to the level of where the core was so that we can blow this place up. Some of us kept wondering where that general went, but I assumed that he probably fled and knew that we were way too powerful for him to even handle since the heroes always win in the end am I right? All of us were walking forward to where the reactor was, but as we were (Y/N) stopped all of a sudden and held his head in pain like he had a headache. All of us noticed and we turned to him concerned.

Compa: Is everything alright, (N/N)?

He didn't let out a response to that and stared off into space for a second before looking at me. What in the heck was that all about? (Y/N) did have some minor headaches when he was hanging out with us, but this one was weirder. He sighs before speaking up.

(Y/N): Can you guys go ahead for a minute? I want to speak to Neptune.

Nepgear and Iffy were confused onto why we he needed to speak with only me, but even I was a little weirded out. However, they just nod to turn and walk away to let us have a talk with one another. Compa was a little more concerned and wanted to know, but B-Sha puts her hand on her right shoulder and tells her that it was what (Y/N) wanted. She along with B-Sha then follow the others to go and look at the reactor. I then look at (Y/N) as he had an unsure look on his face.

Neptune: Alright, what's gotten ya to want to talk to me, (N/N)?

(Y/N): Uh. . . *sighs* I want to ask you something and this is just all hypothetical. . . What would you do if you. . . turned out to be a completely different someone. . .? Like your current life isn't your real destiny. . .

Neptune: Whoa. . . That got deep fast. . . Where is this coming from you?

(Y/N): Well. . . Can you keep a secret?

I smile as I take (Y/N)'s hand surprising him and I interlock my pinkie finger with his.

Neptune: Neptune hereby says that I'll keep any secret that making you uncomfortable, (N/N). . . You can trust me. . .

(Y/N) smiles back at me.

(Y/N): Thanks. . . So you see, lately I've been getting weird migraines and I keep seeing images that. . . seem familiar for some reason. I don't know why, but I keep thinking that I'm not entirely human. . . That I'm something more. . .

This was something that (Y/N) had in his mind for awhile now. . .? Honestly, I'm surprised that he didn't tell me this sooner. Maybe he felt a little insecure since he is kind of quiet.

(Y/N): Was I meant to find that watch? Is my current life really real?? There's so many questions that I just want answered like how I'm able to hold Share energy. I just. . . can't find the answer to it. . .

I ponder to myself thinking for a second before I just smile at him.

Neptune: You know what I would do, (N/N)? I would just go with the flow.

(Y/N): . . .Huh??

Neptune: You're not the only one who's experienced this kind of stuff y'know. I've been through way worse. Console wars, Gamindustri Graveyard, Ancient CPUs, and even dimension traveling. . . like three times.

(Y/N) was surprised to hear me say that.

Neptune: It may have been some things that I wish I could've just hit the skip button on, but in fact most of the time I didn't really care especially since Nep Jr., Iffy, and Compa were by my side. . . and pudding too. I know people like you would question that, but I'd always rather make friends than fight in a stupid conflict. What kind of hero would I be if I didn't? And if you truly look up to me (N/N), then I'm sure that you can do the same.

(Y/N): Neptune. . . (Wow. . . she really does meet all of my expectations of her being our CPU of Planeptune. . .)

Neptune: Now come on! Nep Jr.'s probably about to set the bomb for our little firework show!

(Y/N): *smiles* R-Right. . . Thanks Neptune, I really needed that.

Neptune: No need to mention it. What are friends for, anyway?

I run off so that we can join the others in making the place blow into hell and (Y/N) follows right behind me. We both jump down a ladder and we see that Nep Jr. and Iffy were planting the bomb on the reactor. It was large and there was stained glass that had the red liquid inside of it that almost made it look like fruit punch. If only it was really that, I'd have a taste.

Nepgear: It'll be on a denotator like last time so we won't have to worry too much on the time that we have to escape.

IF: We should go pretty far up until we feel like the time is right before they notice. I'd say when we get right below the first level of the base.

(Y/N): That'll probably take about fifteen minutes. So we'll have plenty of time then. We just need to keep going up and we'll find the way out.

IF: Actually with Nep and Nepgear being able to transform, we should have ten or less minutes instead. And you can use your power to fly yourself, right (Y/N)?

(Y/N) nods as that'll be one less person that I'll have to carry out of this junkheap. Nep Jr. was still pressing some buttons on the device and soon enough we were all set.

Nepgear: Done!

(Y/N): Great, now we can get the hell out of here. . .

We were all just about to depart, but not until I noticed someone above the reactor on a platform and they looked to be targeting Nepgear. I was worried and (Y/N) noticed too as the guy was about to strike my little sister, but (Y/N) ran towards her.

(Y/N): Nepgear, watch out!!

(Y/N) tackles Nepgear to push them both of the way of the attack and just in time too as it looks like that the boss finally decides to show himself to all of us.

(Y/N): You okay?

Nepgear: Yes, thank you (Y/N).

(Y/N) turns back to the enemy with a serious look.

(Y/N): Don't thank me yet.

Everyone including me got their weapons out to then turn to begin our little boss battle and it was none other than the general of Planeptune's Virus Empire, Hijinx. . . it was a funny nickname I always wanted to give him.

General Hijack: Don't think that all of you will be walking out of this place alive!

IF: You!

General Hijnx turns towards (Y/N) and gives a hard glare under his helmet.

General Hijack: To think that a mere child would be able to give me problems. . . The CPUs I was expecting eventually, but you make things even more bothersome for me.

(Y/N): That's your problem!

B-Sha: What's your deal with all of us, especially (Y/N)?

General Hijack: As I've told the boy, all of you are mere obstacles in my path to complete my mission. As we speak, this reactor here is slowly eating away all of the Share energy that you hold.

Nepgear: You're destroying nations that are currently peaceful with Share energy, doesn't that mean anything to you?!

General Hijack: If it means that we can overthrow the goddesses with our own energy. . . then it means a lot. We're striving to create a better nation. . . one where only one person dictates it all.

IF: Is that one person the master that you all speak of?

General Hijack: Precisely. . . and once I kill all you. . . he'll be most please with the results that he wants.

Neptune: Sorry, Hijinx. But you forgot that heroines always win and that we've got you outnumbered from 6 to 1.

General Hijack: *chuckles* I wouldn't go underestimating me just yet.

Hijinx pulls out his own sword, turns towards (Y/N) and immediately charges at him. (Y/N) instantly puts his guard up with his sword to block him, but when he strikes (Y/N) he was instead blown back into the wall with a single swing as he yells out in pain falling to the ground.

Neptune: (Y/N)!

(Y/N): Dammit! He hits like a truck!

General Hijack: If you think that I'm strong, wait till you meet Bane. So. . . still believe that I'm not a big deal to you?

I just smirk at Hijinx as he doesn't know what I have in store either.

Neptune: Ha! We have power to outmatch in this battle too, buster! Just you watch! Right, Nepgear?

Nepgear knew exactly what I meant as she smiles with a serious look and nods.

Nepgear: Of course!

Neptune: Alrigthy then!

Neptune & Nepgear: Access!

I struck a cool pose to do my little transformation in so that we could show this boss who's boss. . . However, it didn't go as planned as we waited for our transformations to shine, but nothing happened. I was so confused that I checked all over my body and nothing was even developed.

Neptune: Nep-what?! Where's the light?! The super cool transformation sequence?!

IF: Nep! Stop stalling and transform already!

Neptune: I can't! I-I don't even know why I can't! Come on, where's the HDD Tenshin thing where I turn into my more voluptuous body?

Nepgear: I can't either! Can we not feel enough shares from being this deep underground?!

General Hijack: *chuckles* It appears that you all still don't understand.

Compa: What are you talking about, mister Hijinx? Why can't Nep-Nep transform?

General Hijack: It's Hijack you dunce!! Those CPUs can't transform because they're right next to the source of their problem!

Nepgear: Y-You mean. . . I-It's because that we're near the reactor??

General Hijack: Correct! Now. . . it's time that you all perish!!

General Hijinx instantly makes a rush towards me and swings his sword overhead, but I block it with my katana and I slide away on my feet. Nepgear then makes a rush towards Hijinx and tries to slice him up, but he dodges two thrusts that she tried to do on him. Hijinx then does a backflip before using his armor to shield the next hit. He then follows up with a roundhouse kick hitting Nepgear away from him. She yells out from the attack as those boots that he's wearing have got to sting too.

Iffy follows up with a couple of nimble swings from her weapon as she then does a side flip to try and do a kick which hits Hijinx and knocks him back a little. (Y/N) rejoined the fight too as he rolls forward before trying to sweep the legs and Hijinx doesn't fail to notice as he jumps and softly kicks (Y/N) in the stomach before trying to follow up with a stab to his chest. (Y/N) dodges to the side to avoid this fatal attack before he pulls out his new gun from Iffy and fires two shots at Hijinx which he blocks with his sword and he kicks (Y/N)'s gun away from him surprising him.

(Y/N) was not prepared for what came next as Hijinx delivers an uppercut to (Y/N) and before Iffy could try to do a hook kick on Hijinx, he grabs her leg and swings her towards (Y/N) knocking both of them onto the ground. I then decide to use Cross Combination which Hijinx wasn't prepared for and I slam him to the ground. He get's up still able to fight more and a rocket almost hits him and he turns to B-Sha who was responsible. B-Sha fires another rocket which Hijinx rolls off to the side to avoid and it nearly hits the reactor making us all wince in fear.

Nepgear: B-Sha! Be careful with those explosives! We don't want to blow ourselves up!

B-Sha: My bad! Don't worry, he won't be able to withstand my heroic B-Sha Kick!

B-Sha jumps in the air to land on Hijinx with the said move and while she did hit him, it only knocked him back a couple of feet, showing him that he's really tough. He then pulls out his laser gun and fires a blast near B-Sha knocking her to the ground. So much for the first boss being easy. Compa then pulls out her syringe and tries to poke Hijinx with the needle, but he moves out of the way to then grab the needle and pull her off to the side making Compa trip and fall down.

Neptune: Come on, Hijinx! You're our first boss! Why can't you make things a little easier with us?!

General Hijack: Don't mock me! I didn't even want you brats in here anyway!

Hijinx makes a strike towards me which I block and I jump in the air before coming back down to use Jumping Arts and Hijinx does a backflip to throw me off which works and I land on my bum.

Neptune: Owwy! That wasn't the right move! At least block the attack so I can show my skills off better!

Hijinx makes a rush towards me and lifts me up by the collar giving me a huge glare under his helmet. . . must not be the one who tolerates jokes in battle.

General Hijack: "This. . ." is Planeptune's CPU? What an idiotic disappointment!

I see something behind Hijinx and smile at him.

Neptune: It'd probably be best that you focus less on me and focus on the next five seconds. . .

General Hijack: What??

A bullet then hits Hijinx on the shoulder and he let's me go for him to turn around and see Nepgear and (Y/N) responsible for the little save.

(Y/N): You're forgetting that we're here too, asshole!

Nepgear: Slash Wave!

Nep Jr. does her skill as the wave of energy hits Hijinx as he tried to get out of the way. (Y/N) then runs forward with his sword to do a follow up attack and before he could, a laser blast hits him in the stomach making him grasp it in pain and fall to the ground. He then uses Heal to cure the little burn on his stomach, but as he did, he get's grabbed by Hijinx and thrown over towards me knocking us to the ground.

General Hijack: I'd advise that you stay down, boy!

Iffy is then heard yelling as she leaps towards Hijinx with her Qatar out and Hijinx ducks to avoid, but Iffy decides to do a follow up attack by kicking herself off of a wall and trying to do the same thing, but this time Hijinx punches her in the face knocking her to the floor badly hurt.

(Y/N): IF!

IF: *grunts* Damn. . . He's tougher than he looks. . .

Compa comes back and tries to stab Hijinx, but he dodges out of the way to then kick Compa back in the stomach on the floor away from the group. Nepgear then rushes up to swing towards the legs, but Hijinx blocks the attack and kicks Nepgear softly on the sides twice before following up with two jabs and finally a drop kick which made Nepgear yell out in pain being knocked over to a wall. She tries to get up, but it didn't look like she had much energy left in her.

(Y/N) and I got up to face Hijinx and try to make a cool comeback so that this boss could be defeated more easily. Maybe it's one of those ones where you have to hit it a lot of times before they show their weakness. (Y/N) tries to do Slamming Surge once again, but it was blocked and not just blocked, it was parried. (Y/N) was then pushed back by Hijinx as I tried to swing at Hijinx while he was open, but that didn't work as Hijinx blocks it with his gun this time and puts his sword in his other hand. He turns to shoot (Y/N) who deflects the laser blast with his sword and tries to do a spinning roundhouse kick on Hijinx, but he grabs his foot and was able to slam him down on the ground. He finally turns to me to block a sword strike and uppercuts me towards (Y/N). This is not the type of boss I wanted to fight. . . I'd rather fight five Ancient Dragons than one of this guy.

(Y/N): Ngh. . . Even when outnumbered, this guy is just way too strong!!

Neptune: And this is only the first boss! Come on author! You know the heroes are suppose to always beat the first tough boss without any problem!

(Y/N) and I try to stand up, but we're kicked back to the ground by the general with no mercy.

(Y/N): Ack! You. . . dick!

General Hijack: My master told me that I would be facing abnormal things here in Planeptune. . . And yet, he was right. I'm merely facing six immature children who treats their opponents like their a joke. Honestly, I'm more than happy that he gave me something easy.

I look at the others around as everybody else was in pain as well with injuries that Hijinx here put on them. Hijinx just gives a small chuckle and smirks under his helmet.

General Hijack: You all weren't easy opponents. . . I'll be honest with that. But you were still overpowered by me. The most loyal and powerful general of the Virus Empire.

No matter much I wanted to didn't want to. . . I looked down in sorrow and guilt that me and my friends lost even with such a well thought out plan. Looks like the main character is going to have her end here now. . .

General Hijack: So. . . Do you surrender?

I was silent for a second and was just about to answer, but not until I heard (Y/N) grunt as he slowly stood up onto both of his legs and still had the energy to get back into a fighting stance.

(Y/N): Like hell we surrender! If I still got enough energy to fight then you're still my opponent!

General Hijack: Hmm. . . Such bravery. . . or is it? Seeing how I was able to defeat the CPU of Planeptune without any problem at all, I'll give you a choice brat. Leave now and I'll have no quarrel with you. You can escape this place alive.

(Y/N) didn't respond to that as he still was in a battle stance glaring down angrily at the enemy as I could tell he was serious and wasn't fleeing at all.

General Hijack: I see. . . So that is you're decision. Why do want to protect someone who is on levels way beyond you? You give faith to a CPU that is literally a goddess and you are just. . . human. You're nothing. . . You think you're a soldier, but you're really just cannon fodder. You're risking your life for nothing which makes no sense at all. . .

This struck a nerve on (Y/N) as he scowls in anger even more.

General Hijack: Last chance boy. Leave or die with the rest of your pathetic allies as well.

(Y/N): Shut up. . . Shut up. . .! SHUT THE HELL UP!!!

I was surprised at (Y/N) shouting all of a sudden as I looked at him with widened eyes.

(Y/N): NEPTUNE IS NOT JUST SOMEBODY THAT I LOOK UP TO ANYMORE! SHE'S MY FRIEND! A FRIEND THAT STUCK BY MY SIDE AND MADE ME SMILE MY WHOLE LIFE EVEN WHEN WE NEVER MET!

Those words made me look at (Y/N) with astonishment. He's really going through this much just to protect me. . .? One person may question what's the sense in that, but. . . this is just making me smile.

(Y/N): I AM MORE THAN A HUMAN! I AM A SOLDIER! A SAVIOR! A PROTECTOR OF PLANEPTUNE AND IT'S CPUS! IF YOU WANT TO KILL NEPTUNE THEN YOU'LL HAVE TO KILL ME FIRST! BUT JUST SO YOU KNOW, I'M NOT GOING DOWN THAT EASY YOU BASTARD!

Neptune: (Y/N). . .

He. . . cares that much about me? It's been nearly a month and (Y/N) thinks that me and the rest are some of his greatest friends. It's making me blush. . . General Hijinx looks at (Y/N) with his arms crossed and frown under his helmet. I could tell that he definitely didn't like (Y/N)'s decision at all.

General Hijack: Hmm. . . How unfortunate!

General Hijinx instantly pulls out his sword and makes a rush for (Y/N) and he jumps in the air and tries to take down (Y/N) from above, but he instantly rolls to the side. He stands back up and they both clashed swords with one another getting in the middle of a standoff. They both pushed each other off of one another and Hijinx pulls out his laser gun once again and starts to shoots at (Y/N) who runs across the area to dodge the bullets. He then runs towards a wall and does a backflip off of it before coming down with a kick towards the general who blocks the kick.

(Y/N) falls on his back and Hijinx steps on his chest before pulling out his sword and he decides to stab on of (Y/N)'s legs making him give a bloodcurdling yell of pain. (Y/N) wasn't giving up though as he sweeps the generals legs making him fall off balance, but before (Y/N) could do a follow up attack, Hijinx decides to do a backflip. (Y/N) swings his sword at Hijinx who he hits, but the dude didn't look like that he took even major damage from that strike. How strong is that armor?! Is it made of diamonds or is it a blue bomber's armor?!

Hijinx then parries another strike that (Y/N) tried to make and he punches him in the face making him fall down before grabbing his leg to then spin him around and throw him back on a wall.

(Y/N): OW! DAMMIT!

The general then rushes up to (Y/N) to lift him up by the neck and pin him to a wall.

General Hijack: So much for wanting to protect meaningless people!

He throws (Y/N) back towards me and (Y/N) groans in a lot of pain and it hurt me seeing that he was severely hurt and lost again. There was even some blood dripping out of his left leg, the one that Hijinx cut. If I had more energy, I could help heal (N/N) right up, but I couldn't. (Y/N) was breathing heavily as he tries to get back up, but I take his arm making him face towards me confused.

(Y/N): What are you doing, Nep?! I can still fight!

Neptune: No! Don't! You've done enough!

(Y/N): But I can't. . .

Neptune: I heard what you said and it really made me feel as happy as if I was just eating pudding, but I don't want to see you get hurt anymore!

(Y/N): Neither do I! Just let go of me! No matter how many hits this bastard can take, I'll try and defeat him for you guys!!

I hit (Y/N) on the head making him wince and he rubs it in pain.

(Y/N): Ow! What the hell?!

Neptune: Quit trying to act all tough (N/N)! I know they say where there's life, there's rope, but you can't take on that guy all by yourself beat up!

(Y/N): But would about you. . . Nepgear. . . IF, Compa, and B-Sha. . .

I just smile and giggle a little making (Y/N) confused.

Neptune: I'd rather have pudding, games, or friends by my side at a time like this! If I die, at least I'll die knowing that your my greatest friend ever in Planeptune. . .!

(Y/N) blushes a bit from that as he sees General Hijinx slowly approaching us and he smiles.

(Y/N): Y'know. . . That's something that I'll always know you for too, Nep. . . At least I was able to meet you and fight by your side just like I've always dreamed too. . .

Neptune: Aww. . . Thanks (N/N)!

(Y/N) then takes my right hand making me blush a bit as he gives me a look of determination.

(Y/N): If we have to die. . . At least we'll die together. . .

Both of us smile at each other that we were able to say these last words. . . I mean to be honest, I want one last more pudding cup, but this works too.

General Hijack: Any last words, before I finish you two off first?

I decide to be silly in this situation and give him a funny answer.

Neptune: One last helping of pudding. . .?

(Y/N) turns to me and sweatdrops with a nervous smile while Hijinx falls backwards dramatically in the funny anime way. Ha ha! He definitely isn't used to me yet.

General Hijack: What a nuisance!

Hijinx pulls up his sword getting ready to finish us off and we brace for the attack. . . until something weird happens. . .

A light shines in between (Y/N) and I as we look to see that we still have both of our hands together and a (F/C) aura was surrounding him concerning all of us. The others were even looking at us confused too.

Neptune: Whoa! What's going on?!

Then that's when the miracle comes. . . a light shines around me as well and I let go of (Y/N)'s hand as I was rising into the air.

Before I knew it. . . I was finally back in HDD! I look at myself to see that I wasn't hallucinating and I wasn't! I look at (Y/N) surprised and he did as well.

Purple Heart (Neptune): (N-N/N). . . How did you. . .?!

(Y/N) was as confused before he looks at his golden watch and it was glowing the symbol of the Sharicite baffling both of us. I thought none of us could access Share energy while we're near the reactor. . .! Even the general was looking at me with complete shock!

General Hijack: Y-Y-Y-Y-You managed to activate HDD?!?! B-But the reactor depletes your shares the closer you are to it!!

I look over to the general.

Purple Heart (Neptune): Honestly, I'm just as confused. . . But maybe it didn't deplete ALL of our shares.

I then get a serious look as I summoned my sword and I felt rejuvenated from the little power boost that (Y/N) gave me.

Purple Heart (Neptune): And now. . . You're about to witness the true power of Planeptune's CPU!

I look at (Y/N) as he stands up still with his aura glowing around him. Not only that, but the injuries that he had during the previous fight were gone too.

Purple Heart (Neptune): ((N/N). . . Just what and how much power do you hold inside of you. . .?) (N/N), can you fight?

(Y/N): Yeah. . . in fact. . . I feel like I can do this!

(Y/N) instantly pulls out his sword and not only that, it glows the color of gold and he swings his sword in the direction of the general and what happens next surprises us. Three small golden waves of energy were sent out towards the general as he puts up his guard to block them. . . but instead his guard broke and he was knocked to the ground.

General Hijack: Impossible!!

(Y/N): Oh, that's possible! It's a new move that I was just able to learn! I call it Golden Burst! Now we're serious, Hijack! You're about to get your ass whooped in round 2!

Purple Heart (Neptune): (N/N), go and try and give Nepgear the same energy that you used on me while I distract our enemy here!

(Y/N) nods as he runs towards my little sister and I go to face the general once more. I swing my sword at him and he was knocked towards the wall while grunting in slight pain.

Purple Heart (Neptune): Looks like this battle is going to be in our favor now!

General Hijack: Grrr. . . Bitch!

Third P.O.V.

While Purple Heart was keeping General Hijack occupied (Y/N) runs over to Nepgear who was badly hurt from fighting General Hijack in her human form. (Y/N) goes up and lifts her up as Nepgear looks at (Y/N).

(Y/N): Are you okay, Nepgear? Can you stand up?

Nepgear: *coughs* Yeah, I think so. . .

(Y/N) helps Nepgear stand up on both of her feet and he puts her arm around his back to support her a bit.

Nepgear: (Y/N). . . How were you able to help Neptune transform like that. . .?

(Y/N): I'm not entirely sure, but. . . maybe it had something to do with the watch.

Both (Y/N) and Nepgear look at the watch with concern as it was still glowing the symbol of the Sharicite. However, (Y/N) ignores it and just smiles at Nepgear.

(Y/N): But if it helped Neptune. . . then it should help you too!

(Y/N) takes Nepgear hand and focuses his energy and in an instant. . .

Nepgear transformed into Purple Sister again surprising her with slight joy. Purple Sister turns to (Y/N) with a smile.

Purple Sister (Nepgear): I feel way much better now! Let's go help Neptune!

(Y/N): Right, I'll be right by your side!

Purple Sister (Nepgear): And (Y/N). . . Thanks for protecting my big sister for me. . . It meant a lot that you were protecting her and us too.

(Y/N): *smiles* No problem, Nepgear. Like I said, you guys have been really great friends to me and helped me out so much. You guys aren't just goddesses to me anymore. . . you're my friends who have helped me, so to show you how much I care, I'm going to help you as well.

Purple Sister blushes a little from (Y/N) saying that before she get's serious once more and both her and (Y/N) go to help out Purple Heart with fighting General Hijack.

Purple Heart was able to hold her own against General Hijack as uses Critical Edge on him knocking him into the air. He lands on the ground slightly hurt and pulled out his gun getting ready to shoot Purple Heart, however he felt another bullet graze him on the shoulder as he looked back to see (Y/N) and Purple Sister glaring at him too. Purple Sister then uses M.P.B.L. towards General Hijack who moves out of the way of the move just in time. However, (Y/N) was coming up at him with a golden aura sword and he does a combo attack with two hook kicks before swinging his sword at Hijack knocking him away.

General Hijack: This doesn't make sense! How can your Share levels go up that quickly?! How am I losing?!

Purple Heart (Neptune): Because we're the ones who fight for Planeptune till the end!

Purple Sister (Nepgear): As Planeptune CPUs, we will not fail our nation and we will defeat you and your evil plans!

(Y/N): You've pissed off the wrong group today, Hijack!

Purple Heart then turns towards the other two.

Purple Heart (Neptune): We need to end this quick! We still need enough power to take everyone out of here once it blows! (N/N), have you tried doing a team attack yet?

(Y/N): A team attack. . .?

Purple Heart (Neptune): If we put our power together, we may able to finally put this rather long battle to it's end.

(Y/N) smiles and nods at the idea as he looks at both her and Purple Sister.

(Y/N): It's a great idea. . . but "how" exactly are we going to do it?

Purple Sister (Nepgear): I know! How fast can you swing that sword of yours (Y/N)?

(Y/N): Pretty fast with the right amount of time. . .

Purple Sister (Nepgear): Then we'll just have to go all out with sword slashes. That seems like a fair way to end this battle quickly.

Purple Heart (Neptune): Smart thinking, Nep Jr. Are you ready, (N/N)? Just follow our lead.

(Y/N): I've got your back, you two! Let's do it! We'll call it Star's Limit!

Purple Heart (Neptune): Alright (N/N), you're up!

Both of the Nep sisters fly of to opposite sides of the wall and (Y/N) uses his energy to increase his speed and makes himself dash towards General Hijack surprising him.

General Hijack: Wha-What are you. . .?!

(Y/N) grabs Hijack by the collar and tosses up into the air before knocking him even further up with a sword slash.

Purple Heart (Neptune): Nepgear and I will show you just how fast we'll end this!!

Purple Sister (Nepgear): Ready!!

Both of them kick themselves off the wall and send repeatedly swift slashes of their weapons at Hijack and (Y/N) put all of the energy in his entire body to make himself fly in the air to join them as well. Each of them take turns sending quick and fast sword slashes that they were moving around Hijack as well in a counterclockwise rotation. The slashes kept going on so fast that it was literally in the blink of an eye at this point.

Both Purple Sister and (Y/N) then decide to drop to the ground while Purple Heart stayed in the air.

(Y/N): Alright! Finish him off, Neptune!

Purple Heart nods as she brings her sword overhead before slamming Hijack down to the ground with a small explosion and Hijack let out a scream in pain.

With the battle being over, (Y/N), Purple Heart, and Purple Sister go over and confront General Hijack who looks at them with frustration on his face.

General Hijack: *weakly* I. . . can't. . . fail my master. . .!

(Y/N): Give it up, even if you get back up, we'll still have plenty of power left to knock you back down! You'll have to admit defeat and that Planeptune has won!

Purple Sister (Nepgear): He's right! If you surrender now, we won't have you hurt you more than you already are!

General Hijack doesn't respond and just lifts himself off of the ground a bit while growling in anger.

Purple Heart (Neptune): Judging by your tone of voice, you don't seem to want to give up do you?

General Hijack: *growls* No. . . I don't! But I'm not going to fight you like this!

Purple Heart (Neptune): What are you talking about?

General Hijack: You all can keep your precious nation for now, but I'll be back to take it again! Mark my words this isn't me giving up. . . but I'm only calling a timeout!

General Hijack then pulls out a weird looking crystal shaped like a ruby and he was getting ready to do something before he hesitates for a second.

General Hijack: Oh. . . but one more thing. . .

General Hijack suddenly pulls out his gun and shoots at Nepgear's bomb planted on the reactor making all of the gang gasp. The bomb blew up and the reactor was slowly falling apart. General Hijack chuckles mischievously before he uses the ruby that he had in his hand to vanish away. (Y/N) tried to take a swing to where he was, but was too late.

(Y/N): Damn it! He's not going to give up even if he loses?!

The ground then starts to shake worrying everyone around.

Purple Sister (Nepgear): This is bad!! This is very bad! How will we be able to escape now?!

Purple Heart (Neptune): We'll have to improvise our escape route instead! Nepgear, grab B-Sha while I get Iffy! (Y/N). . . do you have enough energy left on that watch of yours?!

(Y/N) takes a look at his watch and sees that it wasn't like before where the energy was draining too fast.

(Y/N): It looks like I have more than enough! Maybe my watch levels up the more times that I use it or something. . .

Purple Heart (Neptune): In that case, get Compa and let's get out of here fast!

(Y/N) nods as he puts his sword on his back and desummons his gun runs over to Compa who was sitting down resting and like IF and B-Sha, watched the whole battle that he had with Purple Heart and Purple Sister.

(Y/N): Compa, how do you feel?!

Compa: A lot better, while you and Nep-Nep were fighting mister general, I patched up Iffy and B-Sha. The way you were able to power up along with Nep-Nep and Ge-Ge was super cool, (N/N). Maybe you really are a soldier!

(Y/N): *nods* I appreciated the compliment Compa, but we need to get out of here ASAP! You don't mind if I carry you, do you. . .?!

Compa: It's you, (N/N). So I wouldn't have any problem at all.

(Y/N): Phew, okay then. Hold on tight!

(Y/N) picks Compa up bridal style making her blush a little and he looks up to see Purple Heart and Purple Sister already flying their way out of the factory. (Y/N) puts energy in his body and decides to run on the walls with his speed to make things easier for him to catch up with the sisters. He runs on the walls and avoids some explosions on them as well. He then wall jumps off to make himself fly and he catches up with Purple Heart and Purple Sister.

The ceiling was coming down on them as they all dodged some debris that nearly crushed them. (Y/N) was able to react faster with the way he was holding Compa and as they all rise up to go to the top floor, B-Sha who Purple Sister was carrying summons her rocket launcher shoots it upwards to destroy large debris coming down at them.

B-Sha: That should make the paths more clear for us to escape! I can see why we didn't go with my idea!

IF: Hey Nep! I see an opening!

Purple Heart (Neptune): Where is it?!

IF points to a decent sized hole in the ceiling that lead up to the surface and everybody rose up towards there. Purple Heart and Purple Sister were about to make it, but not before they noticed that more debris was about to crush (Y/N) which he noticed. Giant metal platforms and large carts were about to crush him, but he puts even more energy into him and increases his agility to easily dodge them. He even runs up a pole while still carrying Compa who was amazed at (Y/N)'s resilience. Compa looks behind (Y/N) and sees that all of the explosions were catching up worrying her.

Compa: (N/N)! I wouldn't look down if I were you!

(Y/N): Let me guess, the whole place is catching up!

Compa: Yes!

(Y/N): (Phew! This is gonna be a close call!)

The explosions were getting even closer as Purple Heart and Purple Sister have already escaped through the hole that was made and (Y/N) was just a few yards away from reaching it. Compa closes her eyes not wanting to look and see if (Y/N) will survive this along with her. (Y/N) holds Compa tight and was about to brace himself as he was nearly out of Share energy to fly.

Location: Grasslands

Neptune and Nepgear were back in their human forms and were really worried for both (Y/N) and Compa along with IF and B-Sha. They were just having hope that the two could make it out alive and before they knew it. Two human figures came out of the hole just in time as the ground explodes as well. They were both (Y/N) and Compa as they both rolled on the ground from the splash of the explosion.

Everyone was happy that they all survived as Neptune was the very first one to run towards (Y/N) who was on the ground beside Compa. He get's up on his knees and turns to Compa.

(Y/N): You alright, Compa?

Compa smiles as she get's up on her knees herself and hugs (Y/N) making him blush especially since he could feel her breasts on his chest.

Compa: My hero~!

Neptune: Hey, come on now Compa! I'm the one who needs to be hugging (N/N) right now! I'm the one who had a scene with him after all!

Compa: We can take turns hugging him, Nep-Nep. You don't need to hog him all to yourself.

Compa let's go of (Y/N) who was just in silence from all of that and he was suddenly tackled to the ground by Neptune who was hugging him with delight. (Y/N) smiles as he hugs Neptune back and the rest of the girls who were watching smile at the two.

Neptune: That was close there, (N/N). For a second, I didn't think I'd be able to trust you again for handling a situation like that.

(Y/N): *sweatdrops* Is. . . that supposed to be a compliment or an insult?

Neptune: Eh, take it how you want. I'm just glad that you out of the entire party was able to make it out of there!

(Y/N): *smiles* Thanks Nep. Me too.

The rest of the group join in as Neptune and (Y/N) stand back up and face them.

Nepgear: Thanks for everything that you did for us tonight, (Y/N). I don't think that we've couldn't done this without your help.

IF: I agree. You were a little reckless on trying to be all heroic, but not bad for a soldier.

B-Sha: For helping out Nep-Nep (Y/N), I'll give you a 90% discount on everything that I charge for. How's that. . .?

(Y/N) gives a bored look at B-Sha before he just smiles and shakes his head.

(Y/N): *chuckles* Deal. . . Not a credit higher.

B-Sha: Don't worry, I always keep my end on the bargain.

Compa: Well, now that the base is destroyed, should we start heading back now?

IF: Yeah, we all deserve a lot of rest after all of that.

Neptune: Then I call that we all have some victory pudding. . . And to celebrate the victory that our newest party member here (N/N) had!

(Y/N): That sounds good to me! Let's head back and tell Histoire the good news! I'm pretty pumped on that victory pudding myself!

Neptune: I knew you would, bucko! Come on, let's go home!

Everyone started walking in the direction back to the Basilicom so that they could all celebrate, but not until something unexpected happened. . . The ground started shaking once more making everyone confused and everyone turns to (Y/N) who looks down to see that the ground was getting ready to explode beneath him. He gives an annoyed look to this.

(Y/N): Oh, son of a. . .

*BOOM*

The explosion launches (Y/N) far into the sky as he screams.

(Y/N): BIIIIIIITTTTTCCCH!!!

(Y/N) was flying so far and fast that he instantly was let out of vision and a star twinkles in the place over where his figure was. Everyone gasped in worry for (Y/N).

Nepgear: (Y/N)!

She was about to transform and go after him, but not before Neptune stopped her by grabbing her on the arm.

Neptune: *smiles* Nah, let him go Nep Jr.!

Nepgear: What?! Why?! (Y/N) could be lost somewhere for all we know!

Neptune: Don't worry, I know exactly where he's headed!

Compa: Where's that Nep-Nep?

Neptune: (Y/N)'s about to take a Lastation Vacation! Don't worry I'm sure Noire will understand that she'll be used as a cushion for his landing even if she is a loner. . .

IF: You assume things are going to fine way too often Nep. . . I still do hope that nothing weird happens either.

Neptune: Well, that'll come soon enough. Makeway (Y/N) for you are about to meet the loneliest of loners!

Skills and Equipment Update:

Slamming Surge: A skill where (Y/N) jumps into the air and comes back down to land a devastating blow that can cause a shockwave to knock away opponents.

Golden Burst: (Y/N) puts energy into his sword and swings it to send out three waves of golden energy blasts that can scatter and even travel across the ground.

Heal: Thanks with some training with Compa, (Y/N) can heal some of his injuries to withstand more attacks if he needs to.

Share Energy Manipulation: (Y/N) can make Share energy and give it to CPUs for extra power or to make himself stronger too.

Star's Limit (Formation Skill with Neptune and Nepgear): The trio goes at full speed to send sword slashes at the enemy so fast that the way they move is faster than a blur. Neptune finishes the enemy off with a slam towards the ground.

Hero's Sword: (Y/N)'s main weapon that he always carries on his back when fighting.

Pistol: In case (Y/N) needs to stay back, IF gave him a pistol to shoot his opponents from afar.

Golden Watch: A mysterious accessory that is locked onto (Y/N), but fuels all of the powers that he is currently holding. It has limited power and takes nearly a day to recharge, but overtime the amount of power that (Y/N) can use increases the more he uses it.
