I have a love-hate relationship with this cover. Love, because it turned out so much better than how I had envisioned it. Hate, because it barely took me half an hour to make it and I'm so disappointed by that fact for some reason 😭

Also, need I mention that this thing was a goddamn "mistake"? I had no plans whatsoever for this, all I wanted was a decent cover for my book and I was just playing around in ibx and before I knew it, boom! I had a dope ass cover on my hands and once I had uploaded it, I had my readers literally threatening me to never change this cover ever 🥲😂

Anyways, as to how I made the cover, all I did was change the colour of the image using "colour balance" under the filter option, smoothen out the image a little using the smudge tool, used a default watercolour brush to do that red mist over the face of the woman and smudged it out, again, using the smudge tool. The effect used on the word "Hush" is motion blur, which also can be found under the filter option. 

And that's about it I guess. I feel like this cover is solid proof of how a little goes a long way. You don't have to do a lot of fancy stuff to make something look good enough to leave an impression on the viewers. 

Okay, I swear to God, I remember downloading the photo from Unsplash but it's not there anymore!!  I looked around for it and finally found it in Adobe stock but it had the friggin watermark 🥲 so I just used the pic I had on my phone and labelled it under Adobe stock.

Also, I completely forgot what font I used for the title 😭 I know it's a Sans serif but I forgot what the name of the font is so I just used 'Bebas Neue' for the resources because it came the closest to what I used I think 🥲
