this took me around a week to make (because i was busy trying to get this shiz done on Illustrator while trying to fit this into my busy schedule) but oh my God, once I was done, the joy i felt was just out of this world. 

I was high on dopamine, people. friggin HIGH.

This was actually for a school project done by the Author and they printed only two copies of this but mahhhhhn once they sent the photos of the physical copy (yes, the freaking printed out version with pages and all) I almost cried 😭 

I wish I could share it but that image contains the real name and location of the author and my real name too so I can't share it here on WP. The picture above is the edited version in which I've swapped the Author's real name with their pen name as well as my name on the back cover (if you can notice it).

The leaves and the train are stock vectors which I edited to match the book's colour palette and aura. But basically, everything else was done by me.

I was given these images for reference by the author and this was the best thing they could have done for me. Having references is such a huge blessing when you're trying to figure out what your clients want and what exactly their tastes are.

Anyways, this is a huge achievement for me. Like HUGE. This is the first ever cover I've made which includes a back cover and a spine design as well and also the first one which has been printed (even though it's not for commercial usage but, STILL)

Anyways, just saying, if there's anyone who needs book covers with a front and back cover + spine, I'd be willing to make it for you because it's so fun lol 👀 😂 I enjoyed making this so much because I absolutely love trying out new things. 

Ah finally! I'm able to use premium stocks instead of having to hunt for free vectors/images that are also plagiarism-free 🥲
