"Nyaaaaaaaaaaa," Jay grabs Nya's arm and pulls her to the window of a nearby shop.

Nya, who was nearly knocked off her feet, holds his arm and looks inside the window.

The window is lined with leads on hooks, pet beds, pet clothing pet bowls, everything a pet needs, is in this one window. On the side, there are some pictures of puppies and kittens, along with a couple of bunnies.

"Can we go in? Can we? Can we?!"

Jay is bouncing excitedly on the balls of his feet, his eyes wide with excitement and he has the most adorable (to Nya anyway) smile on his face.

"I don't see why not,"

"Thank you! You're the best!"

Jay sweeps Nya into a hug, picking her up slightly. Jay giggles and hugs him back, resting her head on the shoulder. Jay puts her down and runs inside the shop. Nya enters, a lot calmer, shortly after him.

Once the door closes behind her, Nya looks around.

The shop itself is quite small. There are enclosures along both sides and the back wall. There are isles in the middle full of pet necessities. The puppies are on the right side, kittens on the left and bunnies at the back.

"Nya!"

Nya jolts and turns her head to the right, Jay is poking his head around the shelf on the right, holding a pink lead with bones engraved on it in his left hand. He takes Nya's hand in his free hand and drags her to one of the enclosures. Jay crouches down next to an enclosure containing a small brown border collie puppy. Nya kneels down next to him.

"Awww," they both coo.

Nya glances up at the information board above the enclosure.

"She's called Lilly," Nya says.

"Lilly," Jay clicks his tongue and holds his finger into the enclosure.

Lilly stumbles over and sniffs Jay's finger. A minute later, she presses her cold nose against his finger as a sign of trust. Nya aww's and rests her head on Jay's shoulder.

"Can we get her?" Jay and Nya ask each other simultaneously.

"Yes!"

Nya jumps on him and hugs him tightly. Jay falls onto his back and hugs her back. Lilly yaps.

"Welcome home Lilly," Jay cooes.

Nya sets Lilly on the floor and follows her around as she explores the monastery. After her miniature tour, Lilly walks over to Jay and licks his hand.
