It's flu season. The ninja are at the doctors having their shots. Zane, Kai, Cole, Lloyd and Sensei Wu have all had their shots.

"I-I don't want to go in," Nya whimpers, leaning against Kai.

"It's okay sis," Kai murmurs.

"B-but I don't need it."

The rest of the team roll their eyes.

"Nya, you're the most likely to get sick," Cole says.

"Sweetheart, I'm going with you," Jay says, walking over with the doctor, who is a guy.

"R-really?"

Jay smiles before pulling Nya to her feet. The doctor leads them into the doctor's room. The pair sit down. The doctor pulls out a needle.

"Who is going first?" The doctor asks.

"I...I will," Jay swallows. 

"I-it's okay Jay," Nya reaches over and takes Jay's hand.

Jay smiles weakly and lightly squeezes Nya's hand. The doctor walks over and sits next to Jay. Jay immediately tenses up. The doctor puts the needle into Jay's upper arm. Jay flinches and a couple of tears roll down his cheeks.

"It's okay JayJay," Nya murmurs quietly.

"And done," the doctor puts a small plaster on Jay's arm.

The doctor stands up and gets a second needle. Nya tenses up and her breathing speeds up.

"Shh, it's okay sweetheart."

The doctor walks over to Nya. Nya jumps up and runs to the corner of the room, sliding down onto the floor, crying into her knees. Jay walks over and kneels down in front of her.

"Hey, what's wrong?"

Nya doesn't respond and cries harder. Jay places a hand on her shoulder. Nya looks up at the doctor and immediately covers her face again. Jay glances behind him, realising why the love of his life is so upset.

"It's okay, he's not here. He's not going to hurt you," Jay rubs her shoulder.

Nya jumps onto Jay's lap, nearly knocking him over, and cries into his chest. Jay picks her up and carries her back towards the doctor. He sits down and places Nya on his lap.

"It's okay, baby, I've got you."

Nya buries her head into Jay's chest and cries harder. Jay looks up at the doctor and nods.

The doctor puts the needle into Nya's upper arm. Nya screams and tries to shuffle away. Jay holds her still.

"Nya, it's okay, he's done."

The doctor puts a plaster on Nya's arm. Nya continues to cry softly. Jay strokes her hair softly.

"Shh, it's okay cutie, it's okay."

Jay thanks the doctor and then carries Nya out of the room.

"I-it hurt," Nya whimpers.

"I know kitten, but it's over now. You're okay," Nya grips Jay's shirt.

"Is she okay?!" Kai asks.

"She got a little scared," Jay replies, sitting down and putting Nya on his lap.

Nya slowly starts to calm down.

"That's it. I love you," Jay kisses Nya on the forehead.

"I-I love you too," Nya smiles weakly.
