The ninja are out on a mission, working in pairs. Jay and Nya, Cole and Kai and Lloyd and Zane. Just as everyone thinks it's safe, a black jeep comes swerving towards them and crashes into Jay, making him fall onto the ground.

"JAY!" Nya yells as the love of her life falls to the ground.

Jay has a gash on his right leg and a deep cut in his right arm. Nya rips part of her gi off and presses it to Jay's wound. Jay hisses in pain. Nya's hands shake as her eyes fill with tears. Jay looks up.

"N-Nya, it's going to be okay," he places a hand on her cheek and strokes it gently.

Nya continues to apply pressure to Jay's wound. Jay fights to keep his eyes open.

"P-please stay awake," Nya murmurs.

"I'm-I'm trying Nya."

Cole had called an ambulance as soon as he'd heard Nya scream Jay's name. The sirens get louder. Nya looks over at Jay and gasps.

"Jay! Jay!" Nya shakes his shoulder as she starts to cry.

Jay doesn't respond.

"Jay! Please don't leave me!"

Kai runs over and hugs Nya tightly as she cries into his chest. Two paramedics run over, put Jay on a stretcher and take him back to the paramedics. The others form their dragons. Kai pulls Nya up in front of him and they fly towards the hospital.

"Is-is he going to be okay?" Nya whimpers.

"He'll be fine sis," Kai pulls her closer.

Nya leans into his chest and slowly drifts off.

Nya is still asleep when the ninja arrive at the hospital. Kai carries her into the waiting room and places her on his lap. The others sit around him. Nya whimpers and shuffles around on Kai's lap.

"Shh, I've got you sis."

"P-please stay awake."

"Nya...it's okay sis."

"Please don't leave me Jay!"

"Nya, wake up, you're having a nightmare."

Nya bolts up, looks around and bursts into tears. Kai hushes her and rocks her.

"He's gonna be okay sis."

The ninja have been in the waiting room for an hour and half. Nya had fallen asleep again, using Kai's chest as a pillow and griping her best friend's, Lloyd's, hand. Lloyd had also drifted off, using Kai's shoulder as a pillow. Kai, Cole and Zane are having a conversation when a doctor walks in.

"Jay Walker?"

"Yes. How is he?"

"He is going to be fine. We need to keep him in for a few of days as his bleeding was mostly internal. You can go and see him. He's in room 47."

"Thank you," Zane says as the doctor leaves.

Cole shakes Lloyd awake as Kai does the same with Nya.

"We can see him now sis."

"W-we can?"

"Yep, he's in room 47."

Kai places Nya down, stands up and then stretches.

"W-what if he's...?" Nya reaches for Kai's hand.

"Shh, he's not. The doctors said he's going to be okay," Kai takes Nya's hand and squeezes it gently.

Nya speeds up and drags Kai along with her. When they reach the door, Nya hesitates. Kai nods to her. She grips the door handle and opens it.

Jay is laying, awake, on the bed with an oxygen mask on. He has a tube in his left arm. As soon as he sees Nya, he smiles and extends an arm towards her. Nya runs over and hugs him tightly. Jay hugs back and hushes her.

"It's okay Nya. All my bleeding is internal, that's where the blood is supposed to be."

Nya bursts into tears. "D-don't scare me like that again," Nya climbs onto the bed next to him and pushes her head into his chest, crying. "I-I thought I lost you."

"Shh, you won't lose me baby. You'll never lose me."
