Hey guys, Seb here! I just wanted to put an author's note before the actual story real quick, so people know what they're getting into.

Basically, the story's protagonist has dissociative identity disorder (also shortened to DID) and the plot of the story is going to be about him dealing with that. Identity and personality disorders in general have a lot of stigma surrounding them. There are a lot of people who see certain mental disorders as being inherently dangerous, and therefore they see anyone who has those disorders as being inherently dangerous as well.

So if you're one of those people, then this is probably not the story for you. The story isn't going to vilify identity/personality disorders, or any kind of mental disorder, if that's what you're expecting to happen. Ultimately, a lot of people with mental disorders are Just Humans trying to get through life, and not everyone is fortunate enough to get diagnosed or get professional help.

Because of the nature of this story, the protagonist's mental struggles will be featured a lot, because the fact of the matter is, it's hard to deal with any kind of disorder. If that kind of stuff isn't something you like to read or if you don't think that you will be able to handle it emotionally, then consider this disclaimer to be your warning of what's going to be in the story.

I'll try to include warnings of any emotionally heavy moments in the chapters that may be upsetting, but I might end up missing a few. So feel free to ask me to tag those if you think it's necessary.
