Most of that had been being pet by the other monsters. It was weird, yet comfortable. After getting that all out of their systems though, you and Papyrus had shifted back and returned home. Things went back to semi normalcy. Kyle explained to your dad that he was trying something the boosted his immune system. Dad was very happy he could be like a normal person. Not to long after, Kyle moved in to Sans. You'd seen that coming. You stayed at your dad's to watch the younger siblings. Papyrus was ok with that, often spending nights over to help. This continued throughout yours and Papyrus' college years. "[Y/N]! GREAT NEWS!" You turned to your skele boyfriend in your cap and gown. You and Papyrus were graduating tomorrow and you were double checking to make sure it fit. "Is the great news that we're graduating? Cause I already knew that."
"BETTER! SANS IS HAVING AN HEIR!" That took you a moment to process. "But.. he's a... you know what, never mind. That's great! Kyle the father?"
"OF COURSE!"
"Oh I can't wait to give him crap about this." Papyrus quirked a bonebrow. "[Y/N] this is a good thing. The pack's growing!" You grinned. "I know! Don't mean I'm not going to tease Kyle about it though!" You laughed while Papyrus shook his head smiling.

You watched proudly as Papyrus walked across the stage. You could hear Sans clapping and praising his brother too, practically on the brink of tears. Kyle said something about wanting to howl a congrats, which was quickly shot down. Still, you chuckled to yourself as you clapped for your mate. You wondered what the future would hold after this. Would you go to college for something else? Would you settle down with the rest of the pack, with Papyrus? Get married? Have your own kids? You heard your own name get called and you went to the stage line up to get your diploma. You got your congrats, you shook hands with the board, you got your diploma, waved to the crowd and got down. Super simple, but that just closed another chapter in your life and opened a new one.

"I'm so proud of you!" Kyle squeezed the life out of you and noogied you. "I should be saying that about you, dad of the year."
"Papyrus!" The skeleton held his hands up in surrender. "MY EXCITEMENT GOT THE BETTER OF ME!"
"that's ok. it'll be your guys turn soon enough." Kyle elbowed you playfully to which you swatted it away. "Yeah sis, so no teasing more or you're getting it back tenfold. You stuck you tongue out at him and looked away. "If you'll recall, I'm waiting until marriage." Kyle deflated while the skeleton brothers tilted their heads. "Marriage?"
"what's that?" Kyle gasped in shock. "You don't get married in the Underground?" The skeletons exchanged confused looks. "Are they talking about Unification? There's a Unification Ceremony for coupled monsters." Papyrus guessed. "That's most likely the same thing as marriage. I don't actually care if we marry or unify, if that's what you call it, so long as it's a Ceremony legally binding us together." You didn't want to say you were with someone without legal proof. It was some sort of pet peeve fear thing. It made you nervous. Papyrus hummed in thought. "I'd like to look in more on this."

Uni was absolutely adorable when they were born. They looked like a full skeleton child with one dark blue eye and one light blue eye. They were adorable and had a perfect mix of both their parents. "definitely a little alpha for sure." Sans had said. "So if you had another kid, would it be a beta?" Sans shrugged, clueless. "never asked." You and Kyle were equally clueless so you went to see what Papyrus was doing. "Papy?" You called as you went into his bedroom. The door was open, and he'd always said what's mine is yours so. The skeleton was scrambling to stand from a kneeling position he was in. "[Y-Y/N]!" In his mad dash to get up, he dropped something. A box that wasn't fully shut. The contents inside escaped and rolled away, conveniently in your direction. Papyrus quickly snatched the box, laughing nervously. "[Y-Y/N].. WHAT BRINGS YOU IN HERE.."
"I was wondering what you were doing.. you haven't come out to see Uni yet. You were really excited about them so.." You said distractedly, bending over to pick up the fallen object. You blushed when you realized it was a ring. A rose gold ring with a [F/C] gem in the center. Was he.. practicing a proposal? "Papyrus..." You looked at the skeleton, who was a tangerine mess. "Um.. th-this is not what it looks like.."
"It looks to me like you were going to propose." You pointed out lightly. "... ok. It's exactly what it looks like... I wanted everything to be perfect before I.. you deserve nothing but the best.." You walked over to your mate and hugged him. "I already have nothing but the best.. of course I'll marry you." With that, Papyrus pulled you into a deep passionate kiss. "I never been so happy.." He panted as you pulled apart. You shook your head. "Me either."
