The Project
"WEREWOLVES?" Papyrus asked nervously. You hummed. "Werewolves. They are a pretty common myth around the world, so if we did our project on them.. I don't usually like going for easy points, but werewolves are pretty cool." You admitted. The skeleton relaxed, then perked at your words. "YOU REALLY THINK SO?" You hummed again, nodding. "Of course. Werewolf myths are everywhere! Norse, Roman, Greek, etc. If you find the right myths werewolves aren't bad at all, but considered protectors of their people or protectors of nature. I can respect that." You grinned sheepishly. Papyrus was absolutely beaming. "I AGREE WITH YOU 100%, [Y/N], AND AGREE WITH THE TOPIC! SHOULD IT BE A PAPER? POSTER MAYBE.. OR A DEPICTION IN ART?"
"Oh? Are you an artist?" You asked curiously. "UH.. IN A SENSE. I LIKE COOKING."
"Cooking is culinary art, Pap. That's really cool. I'm move of writer. My art is in the words.."
"WRITING IS COOL TOO, YOU KNOW. PERHAPS I CAN FIND THE INFORMATION AND YOU CAN WRITE IT? IT WILL BE ABSOLUTE PERFECTION, I GARENTEE IT!"
"Oh.. thanks Papyrus.." You were blushing? Why were you blushing?! Pap hummed. "WOULD YOU LIKE TO TRY MY COOKING TONIGHT? YOU CAN STAY OVER FOR DINNER. AND MAYBE SOMEDAY... I COULD..." He started the nervous tick of toying with his gloves. "R-READ SOMETHING YOU WROTE..?" You smiled at his adorableness. "Of course. It sounds like a plan."

You sat at the table with Sans, who you knew was keeping a close eye on you even if it didn't look like it. Papyrus was preparing the meal in the kitchen. "so.. werewolves huh?"
"Um.. what?" His eyelights slipped over to you and you felt your sins crawling on your back. "you're project. what do you even know about werewolves?" He was trying to scare you and it was working. "Uh.." He narrowed his sockets. "i don't know what game you're playing human, but i'm not easily fooled. what do you want from papyrus?"
"Excuse me..?"
"any human who's gotten close to him in the past has done nothing but hurt him. i won't let that happen again. what. do. you. want." Your thoughts jumbled for a moment. What do I want? People hurt Papyrus?! "Who the hell would hurt a sweet skeleton like him?! I mean he's a great and honest guy, with a wonderful personality, proud stature, and did what no monster had the guts to do and went to school with a bunch of humans! What I want is to watch Papyrus succeed in life and I want to be his friend!" You'd said that out loud, didn't you? Sans' eyelights went dark and scary. Oh crap! You swallowed thickly. Then.. Sans started laughing? "W-wha..?" He closed one eye, grinning. "nice one kid. yeah you're right. i don't have the 'guts' to go to school. as for everything else you'd said.. i agree. papyrus is the coolest, and i can't understand why people would use him the way they had. i judged you to quickly kid.. i'm sorry. truce?" He held a hand out to you. "How about friends?" You relaxed reaching to shake. "deal. you, me, 'n pap are friends now, k?" You nodded beaming.

Papyrus POV
I'd been listening in on them. I knew Sans didn't really like her because humans, aside from Frisk, had used me before. I should have known, but I was oblivious to it at the time. I hoped that this way, they could learn to get along. I had a really good feeling about [Y/N]. She was very nice and hadn't said anything to anyone about that night in the alley. I'm sure she didn't recognize me, but still. I stirred the sauce and added in the glitter. I frowned upon hearing Sans speak to her in that way. I could feel anger bubble in my soul and a growl threatened to escape. Why? No matter, either way I was going to have to have a firm conversation with Sans later. When I heard her reply my soul skipped a beat and fluttered. What was this feeling..? My cheekbones had grown hot. Nobody but Sans has ever said those kinds of things about me. Sans was my brother though, so of course he had my back, but [Y/N].. my cheeks grew hotter and I turned off the stove burners. I managed to pull myself back together towards the end of the conversation. Thank the stars that they were getting along, now it was dinner time.

Back to you
Papyrus came in with.. spaghetti.. you think. The noodles were burnt and stuck together. The sauce was watery, and full of- is that glitter?!- and other strange and random ingredients. "Papyrus.. who taught you to cook?"
"A GREAT FRIEND! UNDYNE!" You looked at Papyrus. God those puppy dog sockets had your soul skipping a beat.. or 10. But you were going to be honest. "Papyrus.. Undyne can't cook."
"W-WHA..?"
"Let me rephrase. This might be a monster recipe, but most of these ingredients will probably kill a human." Sans gave you the most flabbergasted look ever. Were you the first to ever tell Papyrus this? From the way the skeleton deflated, you took that as a yes. "But.. I took culinary in high school. I can teach you how to make the human recipe?" You offered to which he beamed. "OH YES PLEASE! I'D RATHER NOT KILL YOU, [Y/N]!" You got up smiling. "Then let's go!" You took him by the arm and led him into the kitchen, blushing. Sans recovered and grinned. "maybe.."
