You kept thinking about the events that had transpired at your house. Things had gotten busy again, so meeting up for another date was practically impossible. Was it weird that you wanted that kiss? It wasn't about the kiss though, you just really missed having your skele boyfriend around. You missed his proud voice and confident disposition. You missed his warm hugs and puppyish snuggles. Is this what it felt like to be in love? You turned to the sound of footsteps. "Kyle? It's been awhile. I should probably clean up-"
"Nah, nah. Just needed to get out of my room for a bit. It gets cramped in there you know." You sighed. "I'm sure." He smirked. "What're you thinking about?"

"So what about Papyrus has you all uh.." He poked your still reddened cheek. "Like that."
"I.. uh.." He got some sanitizer as he waited. "Hm?"
"He and I might have almost... er... kissed?" Kyle put on a sudden stern face. "Not in my house and not with my sister!" That threw you off. "Wha- dad was supportive? I thought you would be too!" He looked like he was trying not to laugh now. "Nope. My baby sister can't date no guys." You realized that he was playing you. "Oh har, har. You got me." He busted out laughing. "Oh the look on your face though!"
"Ky! My situation please!" It took him a minute to calm down. "Sorry, sorry. That was funny. As for your situation.. why don't you go on a date with Papyrus tomorrow? I can watch the other two." You looked at him. "Really?"
"Really, really. You obviously love him. While your at it, send Sans over to help. That lazy bones could use some exercise." He laughed again and you joined him. "Deal."

You had the basket ready, the spot picked out, a blanket for you both to relax on, a drink to toast to. You were ready. Almost. You weren't much for jewelry, but.. You opened a cubby with a music box in it. You opened the music box and pulled out a necklace.

It had been your mother's. The only momento you kept. She'd wore it every day, so now you wanted her with as you went on this important date. You clipped the necklace on and headed out.

Papyrus was waiting on the sidewalk as you got there. "Hey!" He perked and beamed at you, stars in his sockets. "[Y/N]! STARS YOU LOOK LOVELY!" You blushed. "You look dashing too.." He blushed too. "SHALL WE GO IN?"

Papyrus got a scoop of strawberry nice cream. You got a scoop of [F/Fl]. "SO WHAT ARE WE DOING?"
"Eating nice cream." Your brother had put you in a playful mood. "NO- I MEAN AFTER THIS!" You chuckled. "I know, sorry. Are you up for a walk?"
"ALWAYS! I'M UP FOR A RUN!"
"Good. The spot I got picked out is a ways away from the road."
"SPOT?" He tilted his head. "For a picnic, of course!" He grinned. "WHAT'S IT LIKE? THE SPOT?"
"It's secluded. It overlooks a lake in the woods and isn't far from Mt. Ebbot itself. Maybe 4 miles?"
"4 MILES.." Papyrus looked deep in thought. "You ok?"
"Huh? YEAH! I'M FINE!"

You led Papyrus to the spot and laid down the blanket. Papyrus was staring out at the sight in awe. You put down the basket and joined him. "Beautiful, isn't it?" He hummed lightly. You tried to sneakily intertwine your fingers in his. At first you thought it worked, then he squeezed your hand. You blushed and squeezed back. He looked down at you. "Shall we pick up where we left off?" A gentle look crossed his features and you already found yourself leaning in. He followed your lead this time. It was gentle, sweet, passionate, and you loved every second of that kiss. You had to pull away for air though. He rumbled. "Even better than I thought.." You had to agree. "Yeah, it was." He pulled you into a deeper kiss. One that made your soul soar. When that one broke off you were smiling so wide it almost hurt. "Holy-" You cut yourself off. Papyrus chuckled a little. "Shall we eat?" You nodded and he led you to the blanket.
