Full Moon
"BRODER? WAT WAS MAMA LIKE?" A younger Papyrus asked his older brother. Sans looked at the babybones. "she.. was like me.."
"SHE CHANGE TOO? DO I CHANGE LIKE YOU AND MAMA?"
"maybe. we'll see when your 5, ok buddy? Imma take ya to grillbs now. it's getting dark."

Papyrus woke up to the pull in his soul. Sans was already pacing restlessly. He felt restless as well. It was a full moon tonight. Their instincts were at their peak during the full moon, meaning they were restless, claustrophobic, and agoraphobic, among other things. They couldn't control the change on full moons like they could on any other night, so nobody was over today. Nobody could know their secret. Nobody could know that Sans and Papyrus were half werewolf. During the war between humans and monsters, werewolves had chosen the humans side. This put a strain between the two species and werewolves were considered enemies to be killed on sight. So how did they come to be? The boys didn't know either. They did know that they couldn't affordto tell ANYONE. A precaution that even Papyrushad reluctantly agreed to. Only Grillby knew, but that was because he'd raised the boys after their father fell down. "we should head out. the forest is calling." Sans muttered after pacing the room for the 7th time. Papyrus agreed, standing up. "THAT IT IS. SHALL WE TAKE THE ALLEYS?" They'd learned quickly that the alleys were the fastest and safest way to travel. Humans didn't roam them during the night, and there was a direct path to Ebbot forest from here.

Dusk was upon them and their souls were buzzing with instinctive magic. The change would be on them soon, they knew, and they hadn't even made it to the half way point yet. "WE SHOULD HAVE LEFT SOONER. WE WON'T MAKE IT. YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE INSISTED THAT I NAP AND I SHOULDN'T HAVE AGREED!"
"c'mon bro. you needed it. with work and school, you've been so stressed. not to mention that you get aggressive when your stressed in your other form. you need to be more relaxed. k bro?"
"ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT.. YOU HAVE A POINT.." Another pull yanked at my soul, it hummed, warming as the light of the moon touched me. "mmrg" Sans groaned and hunched as his magic started to react. The change was upon them and affecting the older first. He was growing in size, the tips of his phalanges becoming claws, and his teeth sharpening into fangs. "NYEG" Papyrus looked at his own hands, seeing the claws. He fell onto all fours and looked to his brother. Sans had a muzzle now, spines growing along his back, and a tail whipping around behind him. He must have put his clothes into his inventory. He looked nearly completely like a wolf.. or as close to a wolf as a skeleton could get. Papyrus did the same with his clothing, as not to ruin them. Despite Papyrus being taller as a skeleton, Sans had a larger magic capacity and thus was larger as a wolf. He was about Asgore's height in his wolf form and was shaking out any excess magic from the change. Papyrus was doing the same, he was between Toriel's and Undyne's height. Finally his orange eyelights met his brother's blue ones. "tight." The older wolf's eyes darted around. "to tight. gotta move. gotta go to the wild." He growled. Papyrus had to agree. It was to tight, to much. They needed to get out.

Your POV
"Give me your money, and nobody gets hurt." You were pinned in an alleyway, and unable to escape. How did you end up here? You'd stayed at the library late to finish a research project for your local college. When you realized the time, you'd tried to rush to get home before your little brothers, Ethan and Oliver, went to bed. In your rush you hadn't noticed that you were the target to a gang of thugs that pulled you into the ally, leading you to now. "I don't have anything! Please! Let me go!"
"Surely she's got something of value.. and if she dont.." He chuckled and cracked his knuckles. "All I've got is textbooks and research! Let me go!" The gang ripped your backpack away and tore apart everything you'd worked for. "Bitch is right! There's nothing."
"Than take the girl! She'll be worth something on the black market." Your eyes went wide. "B-black market?!" They grabbed you and you struggled against them. "No! Let me go! I have a family! A life! Please!" They laughed at your pleas and you felt yourself getting slapped, cheek stinging. You cried out. "S-stop.. please.."
"Shup up or I'll-" A growl cut him off. They all looked around. "What was that!?" Someone drew a gun. "Just a stray. Let's go." Another growl resounded, louder this time. You were thrown to the ground and looked around yourself. "THERE IT IS!" Gunshots rang out and a dumpster was knocked over. "WHAT IS THAT THING!"
"KILL IT!"
"IT'S NOT GOING DOWN!" Gunfire rang out. Then they were running. "W-wha..?" You looked to see what it was. It was large, really large, with glowing orange eyes that bore into your own. You froze there. You were scared.. but you knew it wouldn't hurt you. It'd.. It'd helped you.. Then the creature turned disappearing into the dark of the night.

You returned home in a bewildered state of mind. What was that thing? Why'd it help you? Would anyone believe you if you even tried to say anything? Probably not. Well.. you supposed that it was your little secret now, wasn't it? Unfortunately the boys were already asleep along with your older brother, Kyle, and your father. Yes. You were the only girl in the house. Now the only problem was how do you fix a month long project that was due tomorrow?
