Another Sighting
You and Pap went into the kitchen, Toriel following behind to check on the pie. "Papyrus, are you feeling alright?" Papyrus looked at Toriel, a bit startled. "YES. WHY WOULDN'T I BE?" He asked. "I just worry, I've never seen you stare Undyne down like that before.. infact I don't think I've seen you stare anyone down like that before." She commented. "OH.. I DIDN'T NOTICE.. I SHALL APOLOGIZE IMMEDIATELY!" Papyrus left the room quickly. "I was wondering if that was normal.." You found it quite odd for a guy like him. He didn't seem like the mean type. Maybe he was just protective? "if what was normal?" Sans came in yawning. "Good morning my friend. The strangest thing happened. Papyrus was staring at Undyne, he he did not look the least bit pleased." Sans quirked a brow. "oh really now? what was she saying?"
"She threatened to kick me in the face."
"ah. i see." You looked out towards the living room, to you, then back to the living room. "happening faster than i thought.." You looked confused. "Wait what?" His phone started going off and he checked it. "sorry gotta take this. 's my boyfriend." Sans then proceeded to leave the room. "Huh."
"I wasn't aware that Sans had a significant other." Toriel commented. "Me either, but good for him." You smiled. It grew wider as Papyrus came back in. "IT SEEMS UNDYNE HADN'T EVEN NOTICED. I APOLOGIZED ANYWAY!" He reported. "That's good. It's always good to apologize, even if they have no clue what about." To that, Papyrus nodded. "AGREED."
"The pie is ready." Toriel handed out plates of said food. It smelled divine, and tasted like absolute heaven.

You left late in the night. They'd wanted you to spend the night, well Papyrus did, but sadly you had some classes in the morning and couldn't. Not to mention you had to drop your siblings off at their school. So staying up late probably wasn't the best idea. Still, you woke up early, got them ready, and took them to school. You studied for a couple hours, checked on Kyle, and went to you own classes, none of which involved your lovable, lanky, skeleton. After your classes you picked your siblings back up and helped them with their homework. Then did your own. The days got surprisingly busy, surprisingly quickly, but at least you and Papyrus could text. He often sent you what he'd found on werewolves since you didn't have the time to meet in person. You wished you could.. but you were busy because your dad was on the road for the week. He was a truck driver, and often had long trips, so you picked up where he had to leave off. That and he got paid for donating blood. What was weird was that he always donated during the night. You shook your head and continued with the paper.

You jolted awake on your desk. "What was that?!" Midnight. The clock read midnight. Of course you had to hear a noise at midnight. There! There it was again. A rustling noise outside. Then a scraping sound. You swallowed thickly and felt for a weapon of some sort. Nada. Guess you had to hope for the best. You snuck to the door and unlocked it. (Yay we're super smart my dudes) You crept out onto your front porch and slowly into the lawn. You went around to the side of the house to see.. it. The creature that saved you. Looking at it now, it looked like a really big, skeletal dog or wolf. The rustling was it sniffing around the plants on the side of your house. The scraping was its bones scraping against the side of the house. It was beautiful. Slowly, ever so slowly, you tiptoed closer to it, your hand stretching out to touch it. It's orange eyes flickered at the plants, curious. It hadn't noticed you. Closer. Closer. Closer.. You barely brushed your hand against it before it shrieked in fear and shoved you away, jumping further away itself to add distance. The back of your head slammed hard into the ground and you fell into darkness.

Papyrus POV
I was out on a run, trying to clear my head. It was..upsetting.. not seeing [Y/N].. and I didn't understand why. Sans was being Sans and not helping me with these new feelings and emotions either! How frustrating. I growled a little before I caught scent of something wonderful. I slowed to a trot, my muzzle up as I tried to pinpoint the scents location. Soon I found it at a small house. The sides lined with wonderful smelling plants. Another scent caught my attention as well. It smelled like [Y/N]. I needed to be sure. My nasal cavity scraped the house a tad as I sniffed around. I flinched away at first, soon I drew close again. It didn't wake anyone it seemed. So I continued to locate sweet [Y/N]'s scent. It seemed to be drawing closer so I burrowed my muzzle deeper into the foliage. It was getting closer. I was starting to get excited. Then something touched me, scaring me out of my search, and nearly making me go wild as yelped and sprang away, pushing away the threat as well. There was no threat though.. it was [Y/N]. I shifted quickly and scrambled to her. I didn't hurt her to bad, did I?! She was breathing. Her heart was beating. Her soul looked fine. So she was unconscious. I sighed with relief.

That could have been a lot worse. I scooped her up gently and checked her for injury once more. There was no blood. Just a decent sized bump on the back of her head. I sighed again and carried her into her home. It was very nice. I followed her scent to her bedroom and tucked her in. I placed my teeth on her forehead without really thinking about it, then blushed. "Good night, [Y/N].." I whispered before leaving to go home. I think I finally understand what this feeling is.
