Astrid set me down in front of the hut meant for eating and led me in. I ran forward and tugged on Hiccup's shirt.

"Hiccup! I..speak!"

"That's great Loki, is that -"

"Outta the way Fishbone. So, Loki. Who is the best looking here?"

I looked at him and everyone else.

"Astrid!"

He scowled at me, putting me on the defensive.

"Obviously, but out of the guys."

I dropped my defense and stared at him.

"I bet it's m -"

"Hiccup!"

"What?"

I don't think Hiccup was paying attention, because he seemed curious and had food with him. I felt my mouth water at the thought of food. I turned to get the food, but Snotlout grabbed my shoulders.

"No, try again. Who is the best looking -"

"Hiccup! You...Snot Face."

Everyone went quiet before loud laughter filled the den. Snotlout was not laughing and sulked in the corner. I sat on Hiccup's lap and ate the yummy fish.

"Hiccup!"

"Yes Loki?"

"I...explore?"

"Where? The island?"

I nodded, happy I could talk to him. He smiled at me and petted my hair down.

"Sure me and Toothless can take you around the island."

I received some head pats and a large fish from Hiccup. I ate the yummy warm fish and ran after Hiccup and Toothy. I flew alongside them as they flew all over the island. I saw a bunch of Terrible Terrors on large wooden poles and the ground. I smiled excitedly and flew down. I heard Hiccup calling out to me as I ran through the terrors spooking them. A few of them blew fire at me, but I just flicked my tail and wings to deflect the flames. The best laugh I've in a long time. I tripped over a terror and fell on my belly. I opened my eyes to see a terror in front of my eyes. It opened its mouth to breathe fire at me, but I blew a tiny ball of flame into its mouth.

I turned my head around to find Hiccup and Toothy. Toothy was resting and Hiccup was drawing in a pad of paper. I found a stick and drew the dragon arena. I didn't know what else to draw since I was there for most of my life. I drew Natter and Night and the water hole and Stryke. I drew the cages and the sticks with pointy metal at the end. I drew myself fighting the humans. I didn't realize I was crying until water drops hit the ground.

Hiccup was really focused on his paper so I flew back to the main hut and found the Snot man eating meat on a bone. I tugged on his shirt to get his attention.

"What do you want?"

"Snot man...gib Loki food?"

"Snot man? Say my name properly. Snot-lout."

"Snotloot?"

"Close enough, come on."

He threw me over his shoulder and took me to the Nightmare.

"Hookfang! Let's go get some fresh fish."

"You are a strange one."

"I know. If you don't want me to come with you, I'll stay here."

"Can you fly?"

"Yes sir."

"You can come with me. I'm Hookfang"

"I'm Loki."

Snot man got on Hook's neck and he started flying toward the ocean. I flew right alongside him and Snot man gave me a bag with holes in it.

"Get fish inside that bag. Just shout if you need help."

I nodded and dove under the water. I made sure to get lots of fish inside the bag before flapping my wings to get out of the water. A sharp pain chomped onto my ankle and started dragging me down. I turned around and saw a two headed dragon with one head latched onto my ankle. The tail hit my head and the other head on the dragon latched onto my wing. I breathed fire at it and it let go and I tried to swim up to the surface. I quickly figured out that I didn't know how to swim.

I could see it circle back and my throat burned. It pressed their noses together and sent a lighting blast at me. I dodged but it was starting another one. A purple blast of energy hit the dragon's back and the dragon swam away. I turned my blackening vision to a hand grabbing at me. I could feel myself being pulled to the surface.

As soon as I could feel the cool air on my face I started hacking up the water in my lungs. A hand was slapping my back. I snapped my teeth and hand only to see Hiccup. I cowered and tried to fly off on Toothy. The pain in my wings made me fall but Hiccup caught the back off my shirt. I noticed I didn't have my fish bag anymore.

"Loki are you okay?"

I shifted my wing to the side and saw the bloody teeth marks. I looked at my ankle and the same bloody teeth marks. The pain started to kick in and I curled in on myself. I could barely register Toothy flying toward the island. Hiccup tried to lift me off of Toothy, but I snapped at his hands and fell off Toothy. I ran on my arms and one leg as far as I could and found a rock with enough space underneath for me to hide under.

Once I was alone I shed tears of pain. I hugged my legs to my chest and silently cried into them. I smelled Hiccup and Toothy coming closer so I quickly dried my face.

"Loki? I can help you with your injuries, but you need to let me see them."

"Loki, please come out. Hiccup is being truthful. He truely wishes to help you."

"It hurts."

I crawled out and reluctantly allowed Hiccup to hold me as Toothy flew to the main hut. I was brought inside and set down on a table.

"What in Odin's name happened to Loki?!"

I jumped and tried to fly to the roof but Hiccup held me down. Astrid was pale and looked worried.

"A Seashocker attacked him when he was gathering fish."

"Who was with him?"

"Snotlout. He and Hookfang fought the Seashocker off while I got Loki to safety."

"We can wrap it up here, but we'll need Gothi to give him something for the pain."

"I know. I sent Snotlout to Berk to get her. For the time being all we can do is to try to keep Loki grounded so he doesn't wreak his wing. Astrid, go tell the others."

"Yeah, got it."

Astried kissed my forehead and walked off. Hiccup poured freshwater over my wing and foot. I hissed and tried to slash at him. I hit his armor but not his skin. He then wrapped my foot and wing in a long white cloth. Toothy walked in with a red shirt in his teeth. Hiccup took it and replaced a soaked one I was wearing. H then brought me in front of a large fire where I went to sleep.
