1,000 year ~ Later

In the beginning of Autumn, the tree began to lose its green leaves into orangey red leaves. The floor was cover by dead leaves with a patch of green grass popping out all over the college campus. A young man look out the window to see if there something more interesting outside than inside his class. He is wearing a black shirt with an owl design, a red jackets with two white stripes on the arm sleeve, dark blue jeans, red and white shoes, and sunglasses on top of his head.

Vanoss Pov:

I was sitting on my chair, next to a window in my classroom. I wasn't paying any attention to the teacher because I already know this stuff. So to past time, I look out the window. I look at the campus courtyard, watching student walk by a statue in the middle of the courtyard, students playing catch with a freebie in the courtyard, and students sit down around friends to study for test. I notice something funny when I look out of the window, a bunny? The bunny has golden brown fur, cute black eyes, fluffy white tail and red mark on its face.

Is it another school mascot animal? Then I see the bunny being chase by guys wearing all black clothes. They look like they were in the military but everything they wore was all black. It was funny to see, tough and buff guys chase a cute bunny around the court yard. I laugh at it until the teacher came in front of my desk and stare at me with those angry eyes. The teacher scold me in front of the class but I didn't care because the bunny scene was funny to laugh out loud.

Time ship to end of class/day

I walk out of my last classroom and starts heading home. I slowly walk out of the school because I was wait for my friend to caught up with me so we could go walking home together. I see him run up to me. His name is Wildcat. He is wearing a white shirt with a tiger on it and written below the tiger is "Wildcat". He also wearing black tight jeans, white shoes, and navy blue sunglasses.

"Hey Vanoss, did you see the rabbit in the court yard? That was the funniest thing I have even seen" Wildcat said happily laughing out loud so the whole world could heard him.

"Yeah, I did! It was pretty funny! I saw the whole thing in my class and laugh. I got caught by the teacher and got in trouble. So What about you? How did you see it?" I said curiously to him.

" I was in the courtyard, talk to someone!" He said happily while blushing a little.

"Wait a minute! Do you mean that boy you meet in mythology class? What his name Miniladd?" I said happily with a large smile across my face.

"Yeah so what? I like him" he said softly to me and looking away.

"You know what I mean! You like him more than just a friend" I said happily trying to get on his nerves.

"Shut up!" He said angrily while his face turn bright red. I laugh at him but said 'Sorry'. We kept on walk next to the road until WildCat just stop walking. I quickly turn around to face him.

"Sorry Vanoss but This is how far I can go. I have to go somewhere. " He said softly, turning around and running in the opposite direction from ours usually way walking home while waving bye at me.

"Ok, bye" I said yelling back happily while waving back at him. 'That was weird?' I said to myself. I continue walk down the loneliest road because it's the quickest way to get to my house. I was listen to music on my phone while look around the road until I saw something far in the distance on the sidewalk in front of me. It was that bunny from before that was being chase down?! I quickly walk up to the bunny and saw that the bunny isn't moving. I wonder what happen to it?!Probably those people who were chase the bunny, hit it or something because the bunny looks beat up pretty badly with fresh scars and bruises. I hate seeing animal abuse. I carefully put my hand on the bunny head and gently pet it. The bunny suddenly open its eyes and look at me with fear. I quickly move my hand away for the bunny because I thought it was dead! The bunny immediately try to stand up but fall down ever time. I hate see this happen over and over again.

"Hey, slow down. I'll won't hurt you. I want to help you" I said softly, looking at the bunny. The bunny look at me with those black eyes and stop pick itself up. I take off my red jacket and place it on the floor next to the bunny. I try so gently to pick it up with my hand under the bunny stomach and place the bunny on my red jacket. The bunny whimper at me in pain and I say 'Sorry.' I wrap the bunny in my red jacket and put the bunny in my arms. I smile that the bunny and continue walk down the road. When I turn around the corner of the road, I saw the same guys from before chase the bunny around the campus. I hide behind the counter next to a wall because they are talking to each other and I want to heard theirs conversation.

"Find that mangy rabbit! We can't go back to the boss, empty handed" he said angrily to the other guys.

Once I heard that I ran straight home. I quickly run up to the front door of the house,unlock the door with my key pretty fast, open it and quickly slam the door behind me. Boom! Ring though the house. I'm guessing that I'm home alone in the house. That good! I take a deep breathe and look at the bunny in my jacket looking up at me, curiously. I smile at the bunny and start to walk up the stair to my room. I unlock my door to my room, open it but this time closed the door softly. I walk straight to my bed and gently place the bunny down on my bed. The bunny kept its black eye on me at all time and titling its head to the side because I was backing away from its.

"Stay here and relax. Don't worries. Its safe here. I'll protect you. I'm just going down stair to grab you some food and water. Ok? So stay here" I said sweetie to the bunny while walking out of the room, walk down the stair and going into the kitchen. I walk to the refrigerator and open the door.

"Good thing the refrigerator is stock up with vegetables and other foods." I said to myself softly. So I grab carrots, lettuce and a bowl of water from the sink. I carefully walk upstairs again while juggle the foods and bowl of water in my hand. I walk back to my room, look at my bed which is where I put the bunny down and the bunny is gone! A hints of fear and sad hit me like a bag of brick. Did the bunny run away? Then I turn my head around to the window and saw the bunny stare out of the window. I make a sound of relief while the bunny turn its head around and look at me.

"Hey, I brought some food and water if your hungry or thirsty?" I said softly, putting the food down on a plate and the bowl of water on the floor next to my bed. The bunny come running up to me then look at the food. The bunny move closer to the food, but first smell the food with its small nose moving up and down. So cute. Then the bunny took a bite of the lettuce, then another bite until it's finish eating the lettuce. I watch the bunny eat the food and drink water for a little while until I start to feel the sleepy taking control of me. So I sit down on my bed and lay down on my back to relax. I start to close my eye and falling asleep. Until I feel bunny feet on my chest and automatically open my eyes. I pick up my head to look at my chest and see the bunny close to my face. The bunny stare at me with those black eyes. I could see the red mark on its face perfectly. The red mark form two long triangle on each side of it cheek and a small equal triangle on its forehand. I smile and quickly stand up while the bunny fall down on my chest. I caught the bunny just in time before pasting my waist. I put the bunny down on my bed and went straight to the closet to change into my pajamas which is a black muscle shirt and red short. I walk back into my room and see that the bunny haven't move an inch away still I put it down on the bed. I walk to my bed, pick up the cover and go under it. While the bunny jump down from the bed and walk around the bed to face me. The bunny jump on the bed and lay on my chest, softly. The bunny move itself close to me while rub its cute little face on my chest. I smile and start to close my eye again. I fall asleep with the bunny under my arm next to my chest.
