(Author's POV) 

"Hello I'm Dr. Wang, but you can call me Jackson." 

"Hello Jackson, I'm looking for a DNA test." 

"That's what I heard, I have three of them here. One is to get your DNA and the other two are for the children." Jackson said.

"Are there needles?" Jimin asked tightening his hold on Bambam. 

"No no of course not. We don't use needles unless we have to." 

"Okay thank you." 

"Of course." Jackson said opening the tests. "Swish this around in your mouth and I'll bring it to the lap where they'll examine it to see if you're related. It'll take around 20 minutes." 

Jackson handed the tests to Jungkook and Jimin, and Jimin gently swished it around in Bambam's mouth while Jungkook did Ari's and they put the samples in cups that Jackson had. 

"Alrightly, I'll send these to the lab and the results should be here in about twenty minutes. You can stay here while we get the results." Jackson said putting  a lid on the cups, so they couldn't be contaminated. 

Jackson walked out of the room with the cups and closed the door, leaving the kids and Jimin alone with Jungkook. 

What will you do if they're yours?" Jimin asked, terrified of the answer. 

"Be their parents obviously. It's been a long time since they had one right?" Jungkook said in an entitled voice. 

"Are you f-ing kidding me right now?" Jimin said starring Jungkook down. "These kids will always be mine. I don't care if you're the father or if you're blood. But you're the reason they don't have a mother and the reason why they had to be alone without me for so long. Sure it was only three, four days? But these are children and that's a long time." Jimin said sternly. 

"If these children are my blood, you don't get to decide what they do. You will have absolutely no right over them. They will be under my name." 

"I will fight for them. If you truly care, let them choose." Jimin snapped, putting his chin on Bambam's forehead. 

"Whatever." 

They sat in silence and waited for Jackson to get back. 

"Uncle Jimin, I have to go potty." Bambam said looking at him. 

"Alright, let's go." Jimin said, getting up and going to the door, walking out and to the bathroom outside the room. 

Jimin waited outside as Bambam went inside. Jimin leaned against the wall and sighed. Why did this have to happen, why didn't we just stay in the sewer? I could've prevented all of this, if I kept trying that day and didn't go back after that guy chased me. I could've gone somewhere else." 

Once Bambam and I get back to the room we sit down and continue to wait. After about ten more minutes Jackson comes back in with a folder and a small table on wheels with a laptop. 

"Your results are here. Do you want to hear it or see it for yourself?" 

"I'd like to see it please." Jimin said holding out his free hand to hold the folder. 

"Of course." Jackson said, holding the folder out for Jimin to take. 

Jimin opened it and looked over the results and looked down in the middle to see that Bambam was related to Jungkook but Ari was not. Jimin furrowed his eyebrows confused. How are they half siblings? They were born at the same time.

"What is it." Jungkook said impatiently. 

"Um, Ari is not your daughter but Bambam is your son...." Jimin said confused. 

"Rare occurrences can happen where a mother can have twins that have two different fathers. This occurrence is called heteropaternal superfecundation, but it can only happen when she takes two men at the same time or soon after each other. Those children are human and they don't seem to be in the system. Should I file a report of life?" Jackson asked folding his arms in front of himself, showing no judgement. 

"No that's not necessary." Jimin said quickly. 

"There should be a file on you as well. Why isn't there a file on the humans?" Jackson asked. 

"They were able to live through the domination. They stayed hidden until I found them." Jungkook said. 

"Smart. You fought hard." Jackson said smiling softly looking at Jimin. "I do need to make paperwork, on them because it's illegal to have unauthorized humans in your possession. I'll make a document showing that it's cool you have them for now, but you're going to have to go through the legal process." Jackson said typing on his computer. "Since you're here would you like a checkup on the children?" 

"Yes." Jungkook said. 

Jimin hesitated but smiled softly. 

Jackson patted the table and Ari jumped up on it. 

"I'll talk my way through the whole process because you look like you're going to kill me." Jackson laughed softly looking at Jimin. 

"Sorry, they've never been to the doctor." 

"Don't worry, it'll be okay. If you aren't okay with what I'm doing, I'll explain why it happens and if it still makes you uncomfortable then I'll try a different approach alright?" 

"Okay." Jimin said relaxing a little bit. 

"I'm going to listen to her heartbeat and breathing to see if it's normal. Is that okay?" Jackson asked looking at Jimin and Ari.

"Yeah." Ari said and Jimin nodded. 

Jackson put the stethoscope on Ari's heart and listened closely. He put it on her lungs. 

"Can you take a deep breath for me. In. Out. Again. In. Out. Good job." Jackson took off his stethoscope and put it around his neck. 

"Her breathing and heartbeat is a little fast, but that makes sense since she looks a little malnourished, but that should go away if you feed her a balanced meal, three meals a day. Can I check her pulses, the ones at her wrists and at her neck?" 

"Yeah." Jimin said. 

Jackson softly checked the pulses and nodded. 

"She seems thin and malnourished but it's reversible. It hasn't caused any permanent damage so that's good. Would you like me to look over the boy?" 

"No." Bambam said turning around and clinging onto Jimin. 

"It'll be okay, I promise. See he didn't hurt Ari right." Jimin said softly. 

Bambam nodded but whispered, "Can Uncle Jimin stay with me?" 

"Of course. Can I put my magic scope on your heart?" 

"Magic?" 

"Yeah. It'll tell me what your heart sounds like. Do you want to hear your heartbeat?" 

"Yeah!" Bambam said excitedly. 

Jackson put his stethoscope on his chest and listened to his heartbeat. He put it on his lungs and said, "Can you do the same thing your sister did. Deep breaths in and out." Bambam copied what Ari said and Jackson nodded. He took off his stethoscope and put it in Bambams ears and held the stethoscope against his chest. Bambam giggled and Jackson took the stethoscope and put it in a drawer. 

"That was cool!" 

Yeah? Maybe when you grow up you could be a doctor too." 

"That sounds like fun!" 

Bambam snuggled into Jimin's arms and laid his head against Jimin's shoulder. 

"Bambam's heart rate is as slow as Ari's which makes sense for the same reason. I think they should have a follow up visit in 6 months so then we can see if they have improved. If they don't I'll be really concerned. But I'm sure it will be better." 

"We'll see you next time alright? Jungkook said. 

Jungkook and Jimin get up and carry the kids out to the car and start to drive home. 

"Icecream?" Ari asked softly, from her seat in the back. 

"Oh yeah, absolutely!" Jungkook said turning into an ice cream place and parked the car. We all went inside and ordered icecream for the kids, while Jungkook got some coffee. We sat down and the kids were eating their ice cream. 

"Uncle Jimin, why didn't you get anything."

"I'm not hungry, love. Eat your ice cream." 

 Once the kids finished their ice cream we went to the car and went on their way home. 

"What now Jungkook. Bambam is your blood, and Ari isn't. You can't treat them differently." 

"Why not? Ari isn't my daughter." 

"She seems to like you while Bambam hates you. You can't force a relationship onto him if he doesn't want one. You'll just push him away even more."

"Whatever." 

Once they got home it was around the naptime of the twins. Jimin brought the twins up to their bedroom and laid them on the bed. 

"Sweet dreams you two."

Bambam fell asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow and Ari sat up and looked at Jimin. 

"Uncle Jimin, why does Mr. Kookie not like me anymore?" 

"Sweetheart, what makes you say that." Jimin said softly kneeling in front of her.

"I heard him say that he doesn't care since he isn't my dad." Ari said wiping away a tear in her eye. 

"Ari, he isn't your dad but he isn't Bambam's dad either okay. I'm your parent okay?" 

"Okie."

"Okay, go to sleep now, or you'll be cranky later. Just like your mother." Jimin said gently pushing Ari to lay down. He tucked her in and kissed her forehead before leaving the room. He closed the door and smiled softly. Jimin walked downstairs and went to prepare dinner. 

"How much do you know about her?" Jin blurted out as he leaned against the wall.

Jimin flinched a bit and went back to what he was doing. "Su-ho?" 

"Yeah." 

"I know a lot about her thank you very much, she was basically my sister. We grew up together. Her father was like my father." Jimin said and continued to cut veggies. 

"Tell me a story about her?" Jin asked and sat at the kitchen counter. 

"Su-ho, was a kind soul, even when we were younger. She was caring towards everyone, no matter what they looked like. She had a hybrid friend before the war got serious. During the war a pregnant hybrid got shot and she went running towards him. She carried the hybrid to safety and took care of his wounds. She told him everything she was doing so he would be comfortable. She took care of him, until he was okay again. He gave birth and she was there too. She took care of both of them until he was okay to walk again." Jimin smiled softly. "That's okay one time. One small incident with a hybrid, and what did she get in return. She was murdered, in cold blood." Jimin said turning to the stove and cooking the vegetables.

"Tell me another story, from when you were young kids." 

"We were climbing trees. Huge trees in the forest." Jimin said putting the food down and staring off into space, as he remembered. "It felt like we were climbing forever and we would sit on tree branches and watch the sun and the people on the ground. We ran into an angry hybrid once and she had us run into the woods. We climbed the trees and waited for him to disappear. He did eventually and we climbed down. We went to m-my house and saw t-them dead. It was when the hybrids first started to fight back. I saw them dead on the floor. I saw him standing over my mom. He was looking for my dad. He wanted revenge and kill everyone my dad cared about. I looked him in the eye and he paused. For a split second I thought he regretted what he did, as he saw me, a child, standing in the doorway afraid. He let me go and I ran to Su-ho's house where her father so graciously took me in. She became my sister and we hung out everyday. She comforted me when she heard me cry at night after losing my mother. She was killed too because my father. I know it's his fault. If he treated the hybrid better then she'd be alive. Su-ho and I played in the garden and she was so helpful when it came to around the house. She helped hybrids escape abusive homes, and fell in love with a hybrid. I was hesitant, I always was after what happened to my mom, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. When she told me she was pregnant I freaked out because there was no way, so soon after meeting him. She gave birth and he was nowhere around. I thought he left her because she kept them. I stepped up and became the father they needed and the support she needed. When the hybrids in the city got violent and started hunting everyone, we ran, but a hunting party hunted her, HER!" Jimin sneered at the words hunting party, knowing it was Jin and his friends. 

"I'm sorry, I didn't know Jungkook was going to kill her. He talked so highly of her. I wanted to meet the woman who had his heart. I guess he lied about it." Jin said.
