CHAPTER 16 -School (Part II)
This is dedicated To ALL my silent readers and everyone really ^_^
Formulas and compounds, danced together in mad mathematical sequences until they fused into full equations.
The pen moved on its own while the mind of the owner was elsewhere.
The young hybrid had made a decision- one he would probably regret for the rest of his life- but a decision nonetheless.
He had consciously decided to switch places with Axel to talk with his wolf.
Thanks to him, the classroom was now a war zone of whispered threats and confusion and apparently, the cause of two fights after school.
Axel stopped writing and smirked, slowly twirling his pen around his fingers.
The discord in the class going on while the teacher was writing on the board, was delicious, to say the least. Negative emotions flourished.
Tch, Chemistry was boring anyway. His time would better be spent learning how to make bombs, instead of doing calculations.
It would help immensely.
For now, eradicating the little harmony in the class would have to amuse him.
"Axel, stop causing chaos!" Jake yelled.
"Tch, you knew what you were getting into when you left me in control of our body," Axel yawned. "Plus this isn't chaos, I'll show you chaos," he grinned, his eyes flashing red.
"NOO, stop!" Jake screamed.
"Stop what?" Axel said innocently, pausing the writing task he had given to the girl three seats to the left of him.
"Whyyy!" Jake bawled.
"Jake...." Luca said.
"Humans are so easy too- well people in general," Axel hummed.
"Axel stop it, before our personality shifts to dark completely," Luca growls.
"Says the Emperor of Darkness," Axel mumbles.
"Ooh, we are not finished. This isn't over," the wolf growled.
"Ok, class. Next class we do an experiment for acid- base titration, remember to collect your safety equipment on your way to class," the female teacher said as the bell rang.
Axel smirked as teenagers mobbed out, swearing at, or purposefully bumping into each other and making threats.
He picked up his black back pack and threw the pen and note book in.
Screw school.
A jingling sound caught his attention. A black bat trinket and a wolf key chain.
Axel smiled at the irony. "You know, Jake, I don't know if to label your cuteness as amusing or irritating as hell,"
"Um.......adorable maybe?" Jake said drawn away from his wolf for a second.
"Eh heh, you're not," his supernatural halves said together.
"Jeez."
"I'm going to rip them off one day," Axel simply said, slipping the pack on and heading towards the empty doorway.
"By the way, why have you two been on edge the whole day?" Jake asked.
"So it begins," Luca suddenly says.
"I guess so," Axel says "I can't believe I have to pause my feud with you,"
"Ok, I'm confused. What the-" Jake started.
Axel sighed as the door suddenly slammed shut in his face.
He ducked and flipped out of the way as sharp projectiles aimed towards him.
Axel dove down sliding between the desks for cover, knocking over a view to act as shields.
He slipped the pack off, summoning throwing stars, noticing the giant sharp blade of paper stuck in the center of his bag pack.
"Well, this should be fun. Oh and Jake, I think your siblings are going to love to have words with you,"
"Ugh! This is my fifth bag!" Jake groaned. "They're going to kill me,"
"Nah, the most they can do is lecture you about responsibility," Luca said.
"Hee, hee. Plus raising a kid expensive, especially in our case. They should've been prepared. Oh well, it's your problem now," Axel laughed, switching to dual handguns "This should be fun,"
To his attacker he said "Are you done throwing stuff at me?!"
He peeked out to see a woman with clothing in disarray, black beady eyes in a dark, fierce, demonic face, holding several blades of paper wedged between er fingers.
"Hm, depends on if you're done hiding like a little bitch," the woman hissed.
"Since when am I the bitch ," Axel said slowly standing up "I thought it was the other way around,"
The woman's neck suddenly snapped to one side. Her head slowly stretched away from her neck, purple- greenish veins popping gout as the head slowly spiraled around and around like a maddening spring winding itself.
Her pupils dilated and turned into white icy slits, full of malice, as her skin shrivelled, then broke, dividing itself into scales.
Axel held up the 9x19 mm guns in his hands. "Ok, this is turning into a horror scene,"
Something at the back of his mind stopped him from pulling the triggers.
"Luca, what the hell."
"If you shoot at her in transformation, it'll become worse and she'll get more violent," Luca cautioned.
"Are you kidding me! Who invented that half- assed rule?!" Axel nearly screamed.
"Demon Biology 101. When they're biological state during transformation is threatened, reflexes and instinct kick in to protect them. They're especially sensitive during that time," Luca explained.
"Well, that makes more sense," Axel admitted, still holding his guard up, as the creature finished up its transformation.
The body slowly bulged and pushed itself out and spiraled into large, coiling scaly skin.
"Really?! A frickin' Lamia?! I waited for this! Luca I HATE you!" Axel screamed, dodging and opening gun fire on the almost eight foot tall (and she was stretched on her body mostly, she wasn't sitting up to her full height), scaly, clawed, bra clothed snake woman. Her top half was more human but was still scale covered.
She screeched, as a loud demonic wail echoed through the room. Conical flasks, beakers, test tubes, pipettes etc. cracked lines of imperfection weaving through their structures.
Axel winced and dropped the now empty guns. Even as a vampire that had hurt his ears. It would've been worse if Luca was out.
The Lamia hissed, her long forked indigo tongue poking out. The snake body that had filled half the empty classroom, boxing Axel in.
His eyes followed the snake as he summoned a halberd.
"Mm, I wonder how you'll taste," the monster hissed, stopping and rising to her full height. "I think I'll have an appetizer before I give you to my Mistress,"
"Why such a bitch?" Axel said rolling his eyes "People like you give teacher's bad reputations,"
The moment the first part of it flinched, Axel swung the wide blade of the halberd into the underside of the creature.
It embedded itself into the white thick fleshy abdomen.
She laughed while Axel swore. The halberd stuck out of the Lamia like a stray branch. It was stuck fast.
The Lamia swiped at him, sending him flying into a wall.
One of her coils quickly pinned him to it.
Axel felt his oxygen supply decrease with the weight of her scaly body. She was heavy! And this was only part of her!
"Maybe, I'll have a little taste," she hissed, her slitted eyes gleaming with excitement.
She raised the end of her sharp fatty tail and sliced through his cheek.
The indigo tongue flicked out quickly to catch the blood that trickled down. She licked it slowly, as the wound healed quickly.
Axel winced at her scratchy tongue.
Lamia were snake- like creatures, predominantly female, that fed on children.
He watched as her eyes glistened in excitement.
"I've never.......it's so fulling and addictive. Just one more taste," she said, lengthening her claws.
And so the path to addiction begins, Axel thought.
"Get off of me, you fat binger!" Axel screamed, as her nail dug into his cheek again, with her licking the blood again.
The Lamia unpressed her coil and let him fall.
Axel fought to catch his breath. The space he had slowly disappeared as she coiled around him.
"Maybe, I'll keep you around for to savour your taste."
He couldn't cut her, and bullets appeared to irritate more than do damage. Her scales were tough and even if you got through the thick layer of fat- more like blubber- it was so plentiful it was almost impossible to do any damage any internal organs. How many dozens of kids, did she murder to get that big?
Had to be a binger.
Suddenly, she pulled her body taut.
Axel jumped out as the coils tightened into a deadly trap. He levitated. What to do?
The Lamia snarled and grabbed him in her green- clawed hand.
Axel looked at the flat nosed, ear less face as she brought him closer. She was starting to piss him off.
"You're troublesome," she hissed.
"And you're pissing me off, you pedophilic murderess!" He stabbed her in the left eye and pulled away from her grip.
The Lamia laughed as she pulled the knife out slowly. The injured eye turned black, while the knife was coated in white goo.
Are you kidding me?! Axel thought She has fat in her eyes.
"You're dead," the Lamia hissed as both her eyes turned pitch black
He dodged, summoning a back saw as she attacked, swiping with her green claws.
Axel chopped off the right- well almost- the limb hung from its owner's body by a slab of white stuff (fat) and scales.
She put it back in place and it healed.
He couldn't damage her with singular attacks.
Axel's pupil turned to slits. He couldn't damage her so he'd obliterate the Lamia.
Her neck stretched and surged forward again.
Fangs extended, her head shot towards Axel. Her body raised itself and soon the room was a mass of spiraling scaly coils.
Axel glared at the swirling coils. He wanted to see her violet blood pour out onto the floor, glistening into a thick pool, but he couldn't get to her internal organs or do any lasting damage. Or could he?
"You want me to take over?" The wolf asked. "I can feel your frustration- it's alot,"
"No, puppy, I want to do it myself," Axel said.
"Jeez, you're stubborn. Fine, but I'll still help," Luca said.
Axel froze shocked, barely missing an attack. "What the hell! You helping me? What's the catch?"
"The next time we go hunting, I go first," Luca said cutting straight to the point.
"So you want me to delay the simple eating task of grabbing a human and sinking my fangs into them, for you to shift, the pain we have to endure during that, stalking around waiting for an animal, the time it takes to observe it and chase it down, just for you to tear its meat from its bones which only has a 50% success rate?" Axel said in disbelief.
"Yes," Luca answered.
The tail of Lamia wrapped around his calf and yanked him- well slammed him to the ground. The force of it accompanied by gravity, had him slammed into and breaking the concrete.
Coils quickly wrapped around him.
Axel felt his oxygen decrease, as the coils constricted tighter around him.
"Are you really going to persist in being stubborn? We're about to be eliminated," Luca said slightly amused.
Axel gave in. "Fine, deal. Now get me out!"
The Lamia's fangs and claws extended.
The boy's body exploded in spirals of red and blue energy.

Hissing, the Lamia unwrapped her coils from the burning power surge.
His body levitated into the air, away from her.
With supernaturals and the paranormal, it is quite common for powers and abilities to be connected to emotions.
For Axel all of that was just pure passionate rage and anger.
Hundreds of weapons- knives, daggers, spears, swords, axes appeared in the air. All very shiny and very sharp and pointy.
The Lamia hissed as the legion of weapons descended with great force.
Her massive coils twitched and started circulating as she moved her giant body try to do to dodge the hundreds of weapons.
Chairs and tables were pushed and thrown in corners, broken by the frantic movements of the Lamia while beakers and other glass instruments shattered against the ground.
Axel watched amusedly as some penetrated the underside of her body, despite her antics, the part openly exposed where she perched up on the rest of her body.
He shifted the directions of the weapons still mid-air to attack that area mainly.
Grease, fat blackish purple fluid escaped the wounds.
An inhuman guttural sound escaped the Lamia.
Finally, Axel thought. But this is still going to take too long.
He felt the wolf's presence lingering on the edge of his consciousness.
With a sigh, he switched.
Luca's blue eyes locked on the Lamia as she attacked. He flipped backwards avoiding it, as it advanced on him.
Suddenly, the Lamia's body jerked backwards. It struggled and strained to move forward but found that it couldn't.
A black seal glowed and rotated, underneath the length of the Lamia's body, holding her in place.
It opened its mouth to hiss but its mouth dropped open. A thin blue line ran down from the top of its skull to its tail. The skin beneath its scales gurgled then exploded!
Chunks and slabs of thick white fat, green entrails, teeth and black purplish goo splattered on the desks.
The Chairs.
They painted the board and walls into grotesque abstract art.
Only two things remained clean-ish; the glass windows too far away from the full reach of the bloody mess and a glowing spherical orb surrounding Luca where he stood.
Luca calmly listened to the rain of entrails and blood.
He stepped back and lowered his arm, deactivating the barrier, the black glyph and a spiraling, spiked baby blue glyph which levitated behind where the Lamia had been moments earlier.
He stood in the only untouched area in the room.
Even the glass pane windows had specks of blood and fat on them.
"Puppy, you are so messy," Axel said shaking his head as he resurfaced.
"And you're not?" Luca retorted.
"At least, I have taste and skill to create art when I am being that way, " Axel returned smugly.
Jake was silent.
The boy's body was suddenly slammed against the glass windows.
Axel gasped, quickly recovering from the shock.
"This is the comeuppance I get for lowering my guard, isn't it?" Axel said through gritted teeth, clenching his fists as his body was pinned against the glass window by another creature.
* * *
Make your move now.
A light breeze from the south east blew against the red skin of the hit man.
Despite the heat of the evening, he was cloaked from head to toe in a black body suit, even his face was covered.
He resembled a ninja- a ninja with a sniper untop of the gymnasium building next to the laboratory with a clear shot of the base of Jake's skull.
He had watched as a purple Lamia had teleported into the room and rushed the unsuspecting young male, pressing him back against the glass.
Placing his eye back against the scope and closing the other, he pulled the trigger.
The Berger sharp long range bullet pierced through the air as it speeded towards its target.
It pierced through glass, metal, flesh and the classroom rocked in an explosion.
* * *
Axel cocked back the safety on the handgun, as he pressed it against the back of the hitman's head.
Without hesitation, he fired, not even a second later. And again. And again.
And a final time in the back, ripping through his heart.
Axel watched as his body evaporated into black smoke, drifting away, as did the sniper rifle.
He watched as flames leaped up in the lab.
"Okay someone explain what the heck just happened!" Axel yelled at his other halves.
"You just assassinated a hitman and now we're watching the school's chemistry lab burn," Luca stated simply.
"Thanks Mr. Obvious, not that though, the explosion and why isn't it spreading?" Axel asked "Jake what did you do?"
"Switch first," Jake said slowly.
Jake chuckled and stretched as he was given control of his body.
"Alright you got what you want. Now talk."
Jake hummed playfully levitating down the side of the building landing on the pavement. He strolled towards the school gates replaying the events that just occurred.
As he was pressed against the glass by the Lamia- the taps keeping the gas sealed of the chemistry lab quickly opened to maximum capacity as gasoline bottles levitated behind the Lamia. Another appeared near him, soaking the underside of the purple Lamia. He unclenched his fist, letting a lit, flaming lighter plummet below as a gullotine blade dropped down, slicing through the Lamia's face, arms and some of her scales, freeing him. This allowed him to free himself and teleport out of the classroom unto the top of the gymnasium building where the hitman was as the bullet was entering the classroom. its presence and the lighter set the lab ablaze as Axel shot the hit man.............
"And I placed seals around the room containing the fire within the laboratory," Luca said plainly.
"And that brings us to where we are right now," Jake murmured, closing the gates behind him.
"How did you- while I was........."Axel trailed off "aw screw it! Did you have to make such a mess?"
"Oh please!" Jake smirked "You should know I like to leave with a bang,"
"I walked right into that one," Axel sighed as Jake started to laugh.
"Yes you did," Luca said "Don't forget, this is Jake you're talking too,"
"Aw well," Axel sighed as their body levitated into the clouds.
