Y/N:

"Y/n what are you doing here?" I grinned at the very familiar face. "Missed me?" he sighed and walked up to me. "you didn't answer my question?" I turned around to look at the river. "I am here to train you guys. Isn't it obvious" I dodged his question not wanting to tell the real reason. "I thought you hate queen then how come you are here working for her" when he said that I got reminded of our previous encounters.

"hey girl, you should not steal you know" I removed my hood and looked at the rich handsome boy in front me who was shouting at me for stealing. "It is not stealing. I am taking what is mine" I told him before grabbing two more bags of food and placed on my horse.

"How did it become yours then?" I turned around to take a good look at him again. He has pale skin and he was tall. From the clothes he is wearing he must be one of the rich boys from Silla. "I don't need to explain myself to you" I walked away from there holding my horse. He didn't say anything but kept following me till I reached the village.

I gave all the food to villagers and walked to the river bank to wash myself. "will you stop following me?" he was startled by my voice. "you know you could get arrested for stealing even though you did it for them" I washed my hands and dried them ignoring him hoping he will leave.

But he didn't leave and stood in the same place looking at me. "Queen and royals don't have time for normal people. We have to take care of ourselves" I walked away from there leaving him stunned with my reply.

That was the first time I met him. We have met few times after that and become bearable to each other. I never got his name but he helped me sometimes in finding food and medicine for the villagers. He knows I hated how the system of Silla works. I hated the people who sit in the castles with all the facilities where as normal people have to struggle. I can't say we are friends but we were acquaintances who shared the same hate towards the system of Silla.

"I have to survive in order to change the things don't you think" I should be thinking the same too since he hated the system but here, he is working hard to become a hwarang. I got startled when he grabbed my shoulders and made me look at him "just don't get hurt" 

I got surprised as this is the first time, he said something like this directly. He always mocks me about how I need to get better. Before I can answer him, he got up and left.

*Time skip*

I walked into the classroom too tired. I couldn't sleep last night because of everything. I have a sleeping disorder. It didn't help me as I was alone. Jiwon would always help me in sleeping every day. I would usually roam around the place the nights when I can't sleep but I can't do that here since I am in Silla now. I have to wait few more days till I understand the timings in the hwarang.

When I walked in I saw the same situation as last time. They were fighting again. Banryu and Sooho were at it again. I am getting tired with all this drama. "STOP IT" entire hall become silent in fraction of seconds. After few minutes everyone was standing in line and I can see them secretly glaring at each other.

"I am telling you all for the last time. So, listen carefully, none of you are good at anything and there is no bone rank system here. So, I suggest you all to stop fighting and work on yourselves" no one answered me neither looked interested. "if you think you can't do that leave hwarang this instant"

"Has anyone thought about the question I asked yesterday?" again I was met with silence. I rubbed my face in frustration. "I will assign you with partners and you have to work on sparring today" I purposely made Banryu and Sooho in one team. Jidwi and Sunwoo in one. They say you should fight between yourselves first to make the best. They were all fighting and I can see they are having hard time helping each other. But I am sure they will learn to help each other.

I kept observing everyone some of them are quite good and others are catching up. Soon class ended and every one started leaving. "Hansung" he walked to me silently, must be tired of fighting. "I have seen you and you are lacking a lot" he slumped his shoulders and pouted. How can this boy be so cute? "I will train you after the classes in the evening" he frowned again "I don't want to"

I sighed and made him sit on the stairs. "look I know you don't like all this but you have to learn so that you can become better hwarang" I am not good at convincing people but I want to try for once. This boy seems different from others. I just want to see how far right I am. He slowly nodded his head. "ok, I will try my best" hearing his words I started smiling.

I went to my room to get fresh up and I have to start Hansung training today. "Master Y/n, master we-hwa want to see you" one of his guard told me earning a nod from me. "I will be there in few minutes" I changed my clothes and went to meet him. "You called for me?" I asked him once I entered his room. "How was your first day in hwarang?" I rolled my eyes before taking a seat in front of him.

"I am sure you didn't call me to ask that" he laughed at my choice of words. "I wanted to tell you that you will have a roommate" I frowned not understanding his words. "What do you mean?" I impatiently asked him. "Boys got in to a fight and we called for a physician. She is a girl so you both will stay together" I instantly got up startling him. "Did anybody got hurt?"

"Yeah, she is treating them right now" I cursed the boys internally when he explained what happened. I just left for few hours and this is what happened. I walked out of his room in the rush. I hope both of them didn't get hurt. I looked around the place when I saw bunch of people. They must be here somewhere here.

"Whose side are you on?" I heard yeo-wool voice. "I don't like Banryu" I sighed in relief when I saw Hansung. "Ouch" he rubbed his head where I hit him. "You can't stay away from a fight can you?" he pouted making me little guilty for hitting him. "Banryu started it" I sighed when he told me what happened in the class. I know they are going to cause trouble but I didn't expect it to be this soon.

"Let's get you treated first" I told him pointing to his hand which was bleeding. "I am bleeding" he freaked out realizing it now making me chuckle. We walked side by side to the girl who was treating them. I saw a girl with all the medicine laid in front of her. "Hello, you must be Ahro. I am Y/n" she seems like nice and energetic girl.

"You are Sunwoo sister, right?" she looked at Hansung confused then said yes. "Can I ask how he is doing?" she asked me ignoring Hansung. I sighed remembering old man words. "why? Did he do something?" she was so worried about him. "your brother is locked up for starting the fight"

"What?" she yelled making me jump in surprise. "Can you please help him. I have to see him" she placed the medicine in my hand before running away. I frowned at her as she didn't give me any chance to respond. "Y/n" I looked at medicine then at Hansung. "Well let's get you treated then" I cleaned his wound and wrapped it. He was trying his best not to show pain but I can see through him.

"All done" I told him when I was done. I was going to place medicine in the box but I tripped in the middle of it making all the things fly in the air. I closed my eyes and waited for the impact of falling but nothing happened. I opened my eyes and saw Hansung holding me in his arms. Our faces were so close, I can smell his breath. My heart was beating loudly making me confused. what is this feeling?
