"Are you the king?" he didn't faze like how I expected him to. His silence was my answer. He is the king. He is the one I have been looking for. I don't know how to feel about this information. "The only person I started feel close to ended up being the one I hate the most" I took a step back from him. "I am not like my mother. I want to change everything for good" I scoffed at him. "How are you planning to do that?" he didn't speak but I can see emotions in his eyes. He wiped my tears. "Trust me on this. I am the same person you know before"

I left without answering him. I kept thinking about our previous encounters as I walked back to my room. I didn't feel like eating anymore.

"Why do you always follow me?" he smiled before taking the bag from me. "I am just trying to help you" I growled at him "I don't need your help"

"but it helps me sleep in peace" I gave up on him and walked ahead. I steal food and medicine from rich officials. They store a lot in ware houses where people are dying with out it.

"make sure not to get caught" he mock saluted me before following me. We jumped the wall and soon were faced by a guard. I knocked him off and entered the ware house. We filled our bags and about to leave but heard the commotion outside.

"we can't leave now" I sighed looking for another escape. I saw a back door. "you take the bags and leave from that door. I will distract them" he gave me a look like 'are you kidding me' "I can't leave you alone"

"just throw them outside the wall. Jiwon will take it to the village. I will just distract them and I will meet you on the border" I pushed him towards the back door before going out the front door. The guards tried to follow me but I dodged them and started running.

I didn't look back until I heard an arrow sound. Before it could hit me someone took hit for me. I saw Jidwi lying beside me with his arm was bleeding. "you stupid, I told you to leave" he winked at me cheekily. "I couldn't leave you"

After that incident I started to trust him. He became a good friend who was always there to help me when I need someone. He left after few months and I never heard of him until I came to hwarang. I was shocked to see him here but I never expected him to be the king. I started getting doubt after watching queen behavior. The the look she gave when he was in hwarang and the night went to palace everything added to it. He is the king Jinhueng.

*time skip*

It's been few days I found out about him. 

I kept thinking about the Jidwi. I am not mad at him anymore more like I am scared for him. If people know he is the king how will they react and what will queen do about it. Jiwon mentioned about things like politics in Silla. At this moment lot of people are trying to harm the king. I can't imagine what they will do to him if they know about him.

Ahro found out Sunwoo is not her real brother. Wooreuk told her everything. It seems he was a friend of her brother. I don't know what made him act as her brother but I know he is not a bad guy. I could say that after knowing him for this long. She came to accept that fact slowly. I grow closer to Hansung and he became a reason for my happiness here. I always look forward to our sessions.

Queen is sending princess to hwarang. It seems she didn't trust me enough with them. Now I understand why she is so worried about Jidwi. I would be worried too if I know he is the king. That idiot has some guts to come here as hwarang.

"MASTER Y/N" I jumped at the loud noise. I realized I have been zoning out in the class. "Sorry guys I am not taking class today. Use this class to practice your performance" everyone got busy with their works. I can see Jidwi is looking at me but I ignored him and went to my room. Ahro was sorting her medicine in the room.

"Are you ok?" she asked me worriedly when she saw me. I sat on the bed looking at nothing. "If a person you trust the most turns out to be the person you hate what will you do?" she thought for a while making weird noises making me chuckle. "I don't know about what you are talking but if you trust that person then you should believe them"

"Thanks" she pulled me in hug and I was startled by her action. "I don't know what you are going through but I hope you will find answer for that" I laughed and hug her back. She really did become my best friend. I was helping Ahro to sort medicine when we heard a knock. It was Jidwi. "can I speak to you alone?" Ahro eyed us suspiciously before leaving the room. "Are you still angry with me?" I shook my head.

"I am not angry at you. What will happen if this get out. It would be too much of hassle and queen will not let it go. Everyone is trying to get an opportunity to become the king. Park youngshil has the most power and he could" he shut my mouth with his hand to stop me from blabbering. "I am glad you are not mad" I sighed before placing my head on his shoulder.

"I don't know what is happening anymore" he chuckled "if anyone see us they might get wrong idea you know" I raised my head and scowled at him. "I am being serious here. What do you plan to do?" his smile vanished with that. "I don't know. Time will tell us I guess" we both sat there in silence. "I don't know what that means but I will be by your side" we stayed there for a while discussing things like old times.

"Let's go back now. We have a dance to prepare" he groaned making me laugh. "I really hate him for making us do that" he said referring to old man. "I can't wait to see your mother reaction" his smile vanished at the mention of his mother. "I will go to class. You should fresh up first" he said earning a nod from me. I walked to the river when he left the room.

I stood few feet away from river looking at Sunwoo. He seems to be in deep thought. "Shouldn't you be in class right now?" he looked at me then ignored. "Its rude to ignore others when they are speaking" I made annoying sound sitting beside him. "It means they are not interested in speaking with you"

"Ouch" I placed my hand on my heart. "You are hurting me" he smiled a little which made me proud of myself. "Are you thinking about Ahro" he looked at me surprised. "Did she tell you?" I nodded knowing what he is talking about. "I don't know the matter completely but don't ignore her. Everything will sort out soon"

"Thanks. I can count on you for being there for her" even though we are not good friends I can understand Sunwoo. "You should work hard for her" I told him making him agree with me. "Who is she?" I looked at where he is looking and saw a girl. Its princess sook-myung. "She is princess Sook-myung" so she really did come. I can't help but wonder what will happen next.
