Y/N:

Its been a week since disciples are assigned to hwarang. I didn't spend much time with Hansung since he was busy with the training and classes. We decided to give a break to our sessions since it is hard for him to catch up with everything. Today princess Sook myung decided to go on hunting with hwarang for the practice. She informed the hwarang to go and hunt animals to practice shooting. I sat on the steps watching the lake in peace before they leave. I was waiting for Jidwi. He said he wanted to tell me something important.

"You are late" I said folding my arms glaring at him when he came. "I had some things to do" I rolled my eyes at his behavior. Even though he is king he should apologize when he is wrong. "What is it you want to talk about?" he sat beside me on the steps. "I think she is trying to harm Ahro" I looked at him waiting for him to continue. "I asked Pa-oh to check what mother is up to and I came to know they are trying to hurt Ahro. I know she won't leave her alone after she found out the truth"

"We need to stop her. I will ask Pa-oh to keep an eye on her but you should be there too" I nodded agreeing with him. "I will take care of it" he got up from the stairs and I did too. "Make sure you come back alive" I grinned winking at him making him roll his eyes. He grabbed my head in head lock making me laugh.

"Y/n?" I turned to the person and Hansung frowning at me. I followed his eyes and saw him looking at our position. I pushed Jidwi slightly and he let me go. I cleared my throat before looking at Hansung. "What is it Hansung?" I asked him and he was still frowning. "I will leave then. Take care of yourself too ok?" Jidwi said patting my head before leaving. I gave an assuring smile so that he won't worry about me.

However, I didn't observe the death glare Hansung was giving to Jidwi. I looked at Hansung and waited for him to speak. "We were supposed to meet before the event" I smacked my head for forgetting it. I told Hansung I will meet him before the event and help him with the weapons. I forgot to go in all the commotion of Jidwi and Princess. "I am so sorry Hansung. I was busy and just forgot it"

"I will go with you now" I gave him my puppy eyes to make him forgive me. "I already got everything. Hyung helped me with it" I felt relieved he was done but felt sad I missed the opportunity to spend time with him. "You seem close to him" I can sense the annoyance in his tone. "He is just a good friend Hansung" I said smiling at his cute pout. He looks so cute when he is angry.

I mentally smacked myself for thinking like that. I should stop having this kind of thoughts or else he might find out my feelings. "We should go. They might start anytime" I said referring to the other hwarang members and he nodded as he followed me. "Make sure to stay safe alright" I said once we reached the arena. "I will. When I come back, we will resume our sessions" I smiled agreeing and we parted our ways there.

I took my bow and arrows heading to the forest. I decided to follow princess and keep an eye on her. I couldn't help but worry about Hansung. He is nowhere being perfect in fighting. I am just scared that he might hurt himself but I have trust in other guys that they won't leave him alone in danger.

I saw princess with her maidens entering the forest. I ran on the hill on my horse a little to catch up with her. She stopped in the middle all of sudden. I stood confused looking at her. My eyes widened when she took her bow pointing straight. I looked at the way she is pointing and saw Ahro in the middle not looking at princess. I took my bow and shot arrow making her lose her target. Her arrow hit the tree behind Ahro. She took another arrow pointing at her. She left her arrow before I can react.

I looked at Ahro and saw Sunwoo on the ground with arrow in his chest. "Sunwoo" I heard Ahro cry out in fear. I ran down to help them. "Jidwi help her. I will go" I told Jidwi who reached there too before following princess. I saw her sitting on the bench in the forest. "Why did you do it?" she got up glaring at me. "You are crossing your line. You are just a trainer- " I cut her off not listening.

"I will not let you walk away next time without damage" I said in low voice very clearly. "I will kill you if you ever think of harming her or anyone in hwarang" I threatened before walking away. I stormed off to hwarang hoping to check on Sunwoo. I was passing by the village but stopped when I saw the familiar figure in the crowd. Jiwon. What was he doing here?

He told me he is in home in the morning letter then what is he doing here? I looked at the man he is speaking with and realized he is the same man who was with Ryewook few days back. He was the one looking at me weirdly. Why is Jiwon talking to him? how do they know each other?

I continued my way to hwarang and saw Sunwoo. He is treated and was going back to his room. all of the hwarang seems to come back by now. I went to my room after conforming Sunwoo is fine. I couldn't take sleep as all the things happening. I had a feeling Jiwon is lying to me about something. But why would he have to lie to me.

I got up in the morning and got shower and went out. I decided to go in to town and meet Jiwon. I will ask him directly what he is doing here. I was on my way out when I felt arrow shoot. It had message with it. Everyone came out and read it.

King is in hwarang.

I looked at Jidwi and saw him look down. Things are getting more messed now.  I have a feeling it is just a beginning of the mess.
