2 Hours before Monday Night Raw

Don Patricio and the rest of the Hurt Business were at the backstage area discussing what will be the plan for tonight's Raw.

MVP: Before we begin the plans, how are you feeling Golden Boy Donny?

Don: Mentor! -still rubbing the mark left by the bottle strike from last week- well a bit okay but shaken up

Cedric: That's right! You have yet to be checked so I will accompany you to the trainer's. At least we have time.

Shelton: But doesn't he have a match against Apollo?

Lashley: We can't have someone injured fight now.

MVP: Boys, relax! - turns to Don - Donny, go to the back to the trainers. Cedric, join him. I will inform creative while we have time.

Minutes after at the trainer's office

Cedric is waiting outside while the trainers were doing a concussion test and check on Don Patricio. Cedric was still patiently waiting as he sees the Riott Squad pass him by.

Liv: Oh, hey Cedric! - waves at him -

Cedric: Liv, Ruby. Hey! - waves back - How are you two doing?

Ruby: Oh, you guys saved us so we're now doing okay. But we ....well Liv here is asking about...

Liv: - blushes and playfully slaps Ruby's arm - Rue rue! - pouts - 

Cedric: Yeah, they're checking up on Donny here.

Liv: I thought he was well! - pouts with concern -

Cedric: He looked slightly shaken Liv. Remember, he took a bottle shot on the head.

Liv: - frowns - all because of me....

Don: - steps out of the trainer's office and sees a pouty frowny lipped Liv - Hey, Gionna. - wraps her arms in a hug - 

Liv: - surprised but hugs back and nuzzles - mmmhhh Donny! Are you okay?

Don: Well, about that. Trainer evaluated me and since I'm a bit shaken up by that bottle shot, I will only be allowed ringside.

Cedric: I'm informing MV...

Don: No Ced, it's my responsibility. I will tell mentor I can't continue in my match against Apollo tonight.

Liv: - pouts - Sorry Donny...I 

Don: No, Liv. As I said, it's not your fault that night. Please don't blame yourself for things beyond your control. - reassuringly strokes her cheek -

Ruby's mind: Oooh he really does care for her. For sure he ain't no Amore but a true blue lover-to-be. 

Ruby: G, we have to check up with creative what plans we have tonight. Donny here will need to talk with MVP and Apollo. You two can go googly eyes each other AFTER the show.

Liv: - slaps Ruby's arm - Rue Rue! - turns to Don - if you want to join us after the show that is. My way of making amends.

Cedric: - whispers to Don - Bro, this is your chance man! Take Daddy's Dinner call. Come on!

Don: - whispers to Cedric - What the hell?!?! I'm still shaken a bit. Can't I catch a break?

As the two Hurt Business members were talking, Liv was staring into Don with pouty lips. Ruby had to intervene.

Ruby: Hey, you two! You wouldn't want to keep G hangin' here. Just saying. I know. I tried.

Don: - sighs - Okay Liv. I will join you two after the show. Plus I need to get to know more people on the roster. How does that sound? - smiles -

Liv: Yay! - bouncing and clapping - Until later then 

As she was about to leave, Liv left Don with a tight body hug. Don was a bit cautious but due to Cedric eyeing him, signaling to man up, he hovered his arms behind Liv and the two broke away and went their separate ways for the meantime.

Backstage, Shane McMahon's office

Apollo, Ali, and Ricochet were joined by 3 of the members of the Hurt Business discussing the plans for the show. Cedric and Don then joined the meeting.

Shane: Oh hey, I heard what happened. - turns to Don - Are you feeling okay for tonight?

Don: - holds the back of his head with some nervousness - uhm, about that. The trainers checked on me and they said since I was still a bit shaken, I am unable to compete for tonight due to the bottle shot and blood loss. Sorry about that...

Shane: Now hey, you fought out of self defense and to protect Liv and Ruby? You shouldn't be apologizing for anything. Well save getting hurt but you were a hero that night.

Don: No, I did not save them alone. You see...

MVP: - cuts off Don - now now. Donny, don't act too modest. If it were not for you asking for back-up. You could have ended up worse. And I, as your mentor, will not let that live down for the rest of my life. 

Apollo: No worries Don. - pats Don's shoulder - You deserve to take it easy. Bar fights are no laughing matter, plus you saved quite a girl that night - chuckles -

Ali: Yeah man. No shame saving the Riott Squad, oh wait. Liv Morgan - chuckles and high fives Apollo -

Shane: Anyway, given that. We just have to adjust. Apollo, you and Don Patricio here will have your match another day. 

MVP: Maybe we can fix that....

Monday Night Raw

VIP Lounge 

MVP: So was that a debut or what?  - pauses as he is letting the people boo him - You people sure do not appreciate talent when 5 are in the ring.

As MVP riles the crowd, they respond in kind with You Suck chants. The Hurt Business know that such reaction means business is booming. 

MVP: Anyway, for those simpletons who missed out on Raw last week. We all witnessed the rise of my protege here, Don Patricio, who by the way destroyed Ricochet and has added firepower to the Hurt Business. This makes us powerful, fearsome and deadly. I mean it's not enough with my savvy, Lashley's brute strength, Shelton's experience, Cedric's scrappiness and Don's untapped potential. We are now a force to be reckoned with. But don't take my word for it.

MVP seeing as they are barraged with boos pass the mic to Don Patricio.

Don: Hey, hey, hey! Show some respect to my mentor and the mind behind the Hurt Business! - boos grow louder - Whatever, I'm better than you all anyway! - boos become louder than ever - Anyway, this group has grown stronger ever since it was formed. With me as part of it, we are stronger than ever! Now we will run out of airtime if I sing the praises of each one of us in the Hurt Business but if the rest and Mr. CEO will allow - Lashley nods - I will toot my own horn and just remind you what became of Ricochet last week. He thought his flips and speed can get the better of me? No Sir! I beat him down and dealt the Mercy Shot on him. He still needed to be taught a lesson, so I locked him into an Irreversible Crisis to add to the message that no one should consider crossing paths with us and expect to be unscathed.

Apollo Crews comes out along with Ricochet and Mustafa Ali with microphones on their hands and have had enough of the Hurt Business with their talking.

Apollo: So you're the self-proclaimed Golden Boy of the Hurt Business? You trying to get Cedric out of the group or are you just some glorified bench warmer for the four behind you? - crowd cheers grow loud - If you think you're so great, why don't you and I compete in a match tonight and at least attempt to do to me what y'all did to Ricochet last week?

MVP: Well, well, well Apollo. Much as Donny here is more than willing to put your money where your mouth is. Donny here cannot compete tonight. If made obvious that he has a bandage on his skull after bar brawling when we were celebrating his win against - insultingly points at Ricochet - you!

Ricochet: Yeah yeah, I lost but let's not forget. I had him beat had it not been for you and your attack dogs at ringside. One on one without anyone in your corner Don, for sure I would have come out the victor. 

Don: That was then. This is now. And you lost, Rico. - oooh and boo sounds were heard - Apollo, my mentor is right. I am unable to compete but I talked to Shane and we will face off, next week. But this week, do not worry Mr. Crews. You won't be ending the night unscathed because.....

MVP: I will be taking my protege's place with him at ringside to be fair and allow him to scout his opponent for next week. 

Ali: Oh yes, and the rest of your "cheer squad" are still by your side there for sure? Geez MVP, you used to be able to hustle, fight and even win on your own. Since when did you get so soft that you need people by your side to win? 

Lashley: Hey hey! Don't you dare disrespect MVP! You boys should be grateful that you're now relevant because of us. If not for the Hurt Business, you'd still be at catering not getting any damn air time. Then again, better you boys be at catering rather than get your asses beaten every single week. 

Cedric: And I've had enough of that and went in. Haven't regret it since. And besides Rico, you wanna cross again with Don? You got to go through us.

Ricochet and Ali have had enough and charged at the Hurt Business with Apollo following suit. As the two groups were about to throw down, Shane McMahon appeared on the Titantron.

Shane: Gentlemen, gentlemen. Your attention please! Now I see that your groups have been going at each other since Cedric joined the Hurt Business and Don over there had his first match. So, Cedric and Shelton, you get Mustafa Ali and Ricochet in a tag team match. Apollo, as MVP has already said, you get.... MVP instead as Don is injured. And just so the Hurt Business is busy tonight, Lashley will be defending his US title against someone you guys just had to beatdown a while back to prove your so-called point, Titus O' Neil!

Byron: The Hurt Business is quite busy tonight! All members save for one have matches.

Samoa Joe: Yeah but for sure the Hurt Business will blaze through the opposition no matter who is put in front of them!

Apollo was making his way to the ring with all his swagger and confidence

Tom: Can Apollo turn around the night for the opposition?

Samoa Joe: Yeah right, as if that is a question. Lashley decimated Titus. Cedric and Shelton beat down Ricochet and Ali. If I were Apollo, rather not show up.

Byron: Yeah right Joe.

Mike Rome: And his opponent, being accompanied to the ring by Don Patricio, from Miami, Florida, weighing in at 251 lbs. Representing the Hurt Business, Montel Vontavious Porter, MVP!

Samoa Joe: Isn't this a moment of pride? Don Patricio gets to see his mentor fight up close and personal against Apollo Crews.

Byron: Yeah, or Don here is going to ensure MVP wins the match by any means necessary?

Samoa Joe: You know Byron. That is such a loser's mentality. From the Hurt Business' standpoint, this is a win. MVP will wear down Apollo while Don analyzes how Apollo fights for their match next week.

Byron: Sure whatever you say.

Highlights of the match: 

- Apollo hits ahead with an Enzuiguri

- MVP hits a Side Belly to Belly Suplex

- Apollo hits a Scoop Powerslam

- MVP hits a Butterfly Suplex then transitions to an armbar

- Apollo hits a spinebuster

End of the match

As Apollo hits the spinebuster, he was able to hit the Gorilla Press Slam and the Standing Moonsault on MVP for a two count. MVP was noticeably clutching on his right knee. Apollo had been successful in working on MVP's knees and legs throughout the match. As Apollo was setting MVP up for the Spinout Power Bomb, Don began jaw jacking with Apollo to buy his mentor time. 

Apollo was distracted by Don Patricio that he did not notice that MVP got up and hit Apollo with the drop toe hold facebuster. As Apollo was stunned as he rose up, MVP hit him with the Play of the Day and pinned him.

ONE...TWO....THREE!

Mike Rome: The winner of this match, MVP!

Samoa Joe: Well so much for that opposition. Hurt Business got another clean sweep of a night. 

Byron: Yeah right, all thanks to Don Patricio intervening for his mentor.

Samoa Joe: Saxton, it's called tactics. At least they did this smart.

Backstage 

The Riott Squad were hanging around and saw Shane McMahon. 

Shane: Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, just the two I've wanted to see.

Ruby: Sure about that Shane-o?

Shane: You two have been vocal about wanting matches or being treated unfairly. Am I right?

Liv: Yeah! *pouts*

Ruby: Who do you have for us so we won't have to rant again?

Shane: Well... you will find out once you're in the ring.

Riott Squad v. ?????

Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott are already in the ring raring to go and ready to fight.

Mike Rome: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Already in the ring, Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan. The Riott Squad!

Samoa Joe: Ask and they shall receive. The Riott Squad are about to face off against a team to get off some steam.

Byron: But the question is, who will the Riotts face?

Mike Rome: And their opponents, from Japan, Kairi Sane, Asuka, the Kabuki Warriors!

Liv and Ruby's faces were in visible shock seeing that they will face another great team in the Kabuki Warriors.

Samoa Joe: Well, they're in for a fight.

Byron: They made their bed, now they sleep on it!

Highlights of the match:

- Kairi hits a running crossbody on Liv 

- Liv hits a Running Hurricanrana, transitioning into a Guillotine Sleeper choke hold with Kairi Seated

- Asuka hits Liv with a Running Hip Attack

- Ruby hits Asuka with a Superkick

- Ruby hits an STO on Asuka

- Asuka hits a Spinning Back Fist on Ruby and connects a Shining Wizard.

End of the match:

Asuka was to pin Ruby after the Back Fist, Shining Wizard combo.

ONE....TWO...

Liv saves Ruby by breaking the pin and striking on Asuka like a mad woman. Asuka was able to cause separation from Liv and was going for the Spinning Back Fist, but Liv does her signature Matrix Evasion, but as she stood back upright, did not see Kairi run her down with the Interceptor.

Asuka had lost sight of Ruby as she was in the corner and played possum for Asuka to pick her up over her shoulders. This led to Ruby hitting the Deadly Night Shade on Asuka. Ruby was still trying to regain her bearings from the strike combination earlier, but was me with a Sliding D from Kairi as she was seated in the corner.

Kairi then dragged Asuka to their corner so she can tag herself in. Ruby on the other hand was able to drag herself back and tag in Liv Morgan. Both Pirate Princess and Problem Child had avoided each other's medley of running attacks as Liv rolled away from Kairi's Running Crossbody, with Kairi ducking from Liv's Clothesline. Both facing each other at opposite ends with their partners still down, Liv ran towards Kairi, but Kairi was going for the Interceptor. Liv was able to avoid with the Matrix Evasion. Little did she know, Kairi had that scouted and dropkicked Liv on the rib while trying to retract back upright. Kairi was then going for Liv's legs to hit the Alabama Slam, but Liv kicked the side of Kairi's face and then stood up a bit to hit the 201 Facebreaker and attempted to pin Kairi.

ONE...TWO...

Kairi somehow broke the pin by raising a shoulder up. Liv screamed at the referee and was Kairi was recovering and playing possum. Liv was about to pick up Kairi, but Kairi caught Liv in a small package pin.

ONE... TWO...TH..

Liv was able to break the pin but was caught in a running blockbuster. Kairi then signaled that she was about to go for the InSane Elbow and indeed connected it on Liv. Kairi then pinned Liv.

ONE...TWO... 

Ruby was about to break the pin but Asuka caught her with a Running Hip Attack

THREE!

Mike Rome: The winners of the match, the Kabuki Warriors!

Samoa Joe: So much for that redemption win and raising of stock!

Byron: Well you can't take away that both teams gave it their all. It's just that the Kabuki Warriors had the stronger will to win it.

Backstage after the show

Liv and Ruby were visibly upset after another televised loss.

Ruby: I don't know what they plan to do with us anymore.

Liv: I know, Rue Rue - pouts - I mean I'm fine with having us get beaten by Kaori and Kana. But come on! We weren't reunited only to be opening doors for other tag teams. We're the legitimate tag team here.

Ruby: Careful about airing your views Liv. You've not been around for long in the business as I have. But I sure do hope us reuniting has a good reason apart from getting shafted into losing efforts to other teams.

Don suddenly walks in and sees the Riott Squad visibly upset. He tries to cheer them up.

Don: Hey now, you two did great. Well despite the result but at least you two were able to get your hands dirty.

Liv: Not really Donny - pouts - We lost! It sucks.

Don: Now, losses come and go but maybe the plans are not to have you win for the time being until they find the perfect time to bring your efforts back on the winning column.

Liv: Easy for you to say Donny. You're mentored by one of the backstage producers AND a great wrestler in MVP!

Don: That isn't exactly a privilege. But come on now. You've both been here longer than I have. It will be quite disheartening to see two workhorses pout like this. And besides, you both wanted to have dinner with me. So are you two still down for that?

Liv: Oh right! Shall we meet there?

Don: Oh no, I'm supposed to ride with mentor and... - phone vibrates - wait, I received a text message from Cedric.

Text message from Cedric: Hey Golden Boy! We will take care of the reservations at the steak house here. We went ahead, take the Riotts and just say the table is reserved for Patricio Capistrano. 

Don's mind: Damnit Cedric...but thanks!

Don: You two in a mood for some steak?

Ruby smiled but Liv's reaction which involved bouncing about and clapping took the cake.

Liv: Yay! Steak! Daddy want steak!

Ruby: Pardon your girl here for the reaction. Gionna!

Liv blushed at Ruby calling her attention to stop her reaction from going any more bouncier. 

Liv: Rue Rue! - pouts - Not in front of Donny!

Don: - chuckles - Hey nothing to worry about. I've always wanted to see the bouncy, funny Liv Morgan, as well as her good friend Ruby Riott. So shall we take my car?

Liv and Ruby: Yes!

The three then proceeded to the steakhouse for their dinner.

Quite a long one but that is a go for Chapter 5.
