Tonight's edition of Raw comes off the heels of an explosive Summerslam 24 hours ago that saw the implosion of a long time pairing and a surprising punishment of former tag team champions. After Ruby had given the Riott Kick to Liv Morgan after the loss to the Bellas, Liv was all confused and distraught at the events. 

As for the Hurt Business Tag Team Contingent, Lashley spearing both Cedric and Don has caused for a caucus to be held tonight. With all members losing their gold, Lashley is not pleased with MVP having to speak on the events of the other night.

Monday Night Raw
Middle of 1st Hour
Hurt Business Summit
The Hurt Business's music begins to fade as Lashley and MVP were the only ones in the ring as the other three members were still injured after taking a spear from an incensed Chief Hurt Officer for losing their matches. Lashley, with rage painted on his face, turns to give MVP the mean eye for the founder to begin to speak.

MVP: Allow me to explain for you idiots here in Sioux Falls the situation of the Hurt Business.

Lashley: GET. TO. THE. POINT!

MVP: Alright Lashley, here it is. So it seems to be that our Hurt Business has run into some problems. We had the proper personnel. We did. You won the United States Championship off Apollo Crews but we didn't count him having the referee in his back pocket

Lashley nods angrily

Saxton: Come on, if anything they tried to bribe the referee but didn't work

Joe: Shut up Saxton!

MVP: As it comes to out situation with the WWE Championship, we thought placing in Shelton is a good idea given the veteran experience and ability. Just happens that he fell short of taking the gold from Drew McIntyre

Lashley: He choked when it mattered most!

MVP: Bobby, come on. 

Lashley was not pleased with MVP cutting him off but the latter spoke on.

MVP: As for our tag team champions....

Lashley: Go ahead, I want to see your HONEST assessment

MVP: They had it. But somehow Street Profits was able to outmaneuver our tiger cubs and

Lashley had enough and began to hold MVP by the collar as he corners him.

Lashley: *grabbing the mic* You had BETTER start making moves because the Hurt Business is a unit. If anything, you better come up with a new plan because while I am with you in the hostile takeover of the Raw titles, you screwed up directing who is going for what. 

MVP: Bobby I...

Lashley: Don't you dare Bobby me! Good thing I respect you enough not to put the Hurt Lock on you or Spear you until the end of next year. You had better fix this and you had better put this warning into those moron's heads that the next slip up will cost them. They better come back more committed and I don't care if they're injured. They better show they have the instinct to stay on ...OR ELSE!

Lashley lets go of MVP's collar as he walks out of the ring.

Backstage 
After the Hurt Business Summit
Charly was backstage as she was getting ready for an interview segment

Charly: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time, Ruby Riott.

Ruby walked in with a smile on her face and a mixed reaction from the crowd.

Charly: Ruby, I see you're smiling again but care to explain why you did what you did in Summerslam?

Ruby: Why I did what I did? Let me ask you Charly, let's say we were part of a team. You keep riding my coattails even behind my back and you get in trouble, would you think I'd be happy to let that slide?

Charly: Actually, I'd be ashamed

Ruby: Good you know! Normally, I would too but my deadwood blonde of an ex-tag partner just doesn't get what harm she has done! I gave her the benefit of the doubt when I forgave her and we began to team again. But the moment she gets into trouble, who has to clean up the mess? Not her, me. I had to remove the leech from my name and between us, I'm the one with Riott in the name, not her. So I did what I did to cut her off my life. She only joined us because of looks, not talent. I carried her bimbo blonde ass on my back and when I was the one carrying all the burden and consequence, she somehow gets away free of fault. This time, I did what is for me. I Riott when I want and not when someone else invokes my name for their own self interest.

Liv suddenly walks in.

Liv: So you couldn't say this to my face Ruby? I could take a stop it or no for an answer. What did you do?

Ruby began to look away from Liv.

Liv: Look at me when I'm talking Ruby!

Ruby: You lack respect! You're a waste of time

Ruby walks away as Liv begins to go after Ruby

Liv: Get back here Ruby! Hey!

Nia then walks in

Nia: Shut up for just a minute and I cannot hear myself think!

Liv: Oh, you can think?

Nia: Yeah, and I see a pitiful little pipsqueak ripe for a beating after I got screwed out of a Tag Team title shot. Good fortune you're here *smirks*

Liv: You wanna try that?

Nia: That's an invite. That's good because ....

Nia headbutts Liv as she begins to toss her around the backstage area.

Nia: Yeah, I'm Riotting better than you or that idiot ex-partner of your can do!

Nia tosses her to the crates and the wall before pushing hear near the Gorilla position. 

Nia: Yeah, I'm watching you.....get a beating courtesy of me. *shouts far* get me a ref!

Saxton: Get her a referee?

Joe: Well, they now have a match somehow approved by Shane McMahon so I guess ahead of schedule?

Entranceway 
Nia is pulling Liv by her hair as she keeps the Problem Child at far reach before tossing her forward to the rampway. Liv was trying to fight back but Nia knocks her off with a clothesline. 

The referee was going closer to Liv as Nia begins to lift Liv into a Fireman's Carry. As she got near to the ring post, Nia turned around so Liv will take the full brunt of the ring post. Nia walks forward then begins to speed back.

Liv, luckily by instinct, wriggles away. This caused Nia to run backwards into the ringpost, spine first. Liv then began to roll into the ring as Nia was trying to get back on her feet. The referee checks up on Liv as she tells the referee she can go on with the match.

As this was happening, Don Patricio, in a Hurt Business shirt but still a bit banged up, watches the Problem Child try to get her first win on her own. The commentary team took notice

Saxton: Wait a sec, Don Patricio?

Joe: What's he doing here?

Tom: Cannot say but is this part of the Hurt Business's revamping plan?

In the ring
Liv Morgan v. Nia Jax
Liv was now in the ring as she was using the ropes to get back up. Nia used the ring apron and bottom rope to get back into the ring. The referee then began to ring the bell to officially start the match despite the backstage assault. 

Liv then runs into Nia in a Guillotine Choke attempt, but Nia runs Liv into the turnbuckle repeatedly until she lets go. Liv, now standing and in the open by the turnbuckle, is vulnerable to attacks.

Nia uses this to go for a Running Corner Body Splash. Liv however was able to sidestep away as Nia comes to contact with the turnbuckle full force. Don nods and cheers as Liv tries to get back to her feet. 

Liv seeing Nia all stunned hits a miraculous 201 Facebreaker, which causes the bigger woman to teeter to the ropes. Liv, shouting to the crowd, begins to run for the ObLIVion. Nia anticipates the move and stays on the ropes as Liv was the only one to roll back before Nia hits a big boot on the Jersey Native. 

Nia can smell blood as she picks Liv up for a Samoan Drop then runs into the ropes to hit the Leg Drop on the Problem Child and cover her.

ONE...TWO.....THREE!

Mike Rome: The winner of this match, Nia Jax!

Nia had her arm raised but was not content as she picks the fallen Problem Child up then shouts near her head

Nia: No one's saving you!

Nia proceeds to hit the Samoan Drop once more on Liv and a Leg Drop to boot. Nia walks away with a smile as Liv is still down. Don only stood there as he stepped aside from Nia's path. 

Backstage
After Raw
Don was waiting for Liv as she was being evaluated by the trainer's office. He patiently waited as Liv walks out and kisses her boyfriend on the cheek. 

Liv: All good boyfie P!

Don: Thank God for that girflie G.

Liv: *giggles* Aww you're using the name I want you to use! Now remember the promise I gave *smirks*

Don: Oh, you will be my Livvy nurse?

Liv: Yes. I will be your loyal, caring *whispers* naughty nurse Donny 

Don: Sucks I cannot get a Huggies first.

Liv: Let me give you Nurse Gionna's prescription of cheek kisses before your treatment tomorrow *giggles*

Don scoots down a bit for Liv to get a good range and kiss her boyfriend on the cheeks.

Liv: Let's go to the hotel and rest up. I have to take care of you tomorrow.

Don: Yeah, let's get to it.

Don and Liv proceeded to the hotel for them to rest up as they had the next day off.
