Monday Night Raw

The Hurt Business arrived at catering and they were talking among themselves about their plans for tonight. 

MVP: Well, thanks to our upstart here, Ali and Apollo are written off TV for tonight. So, Donhere will be the only one of us fighting while we surround the ring.

Cedric: Way to steal our opponents bro! Nah kidding, but quite impressive. Just watch the kick ayt?

Shelton: Well, we shall just be watching then.

Lashley: Nice to just watch someone else fight this time around.

Don: I will not let you down, sirs.

MVP: Donny come on! Drop the formalities - laughs - But do your best out there and don't make me look like a scrub when you do my moves. But at least, you are facing Ricochet tonight.

Don: Wow, an indie darling. I will not disappoint you all.

MVP then sees the Riott Squad arrive and signals for the other Hurt Business members to leave. 

MVP: Donny, I have some calls to take care of and these guys will be needed since we have a last minute meeting as to what we are doing at ringside. You can take care of things here. I see Ricochet right now! - points to the right -

Don: Wait..I don't see Trev (Ricochet) there. - sees empty seats in front of him - Come on mentor!

Liv then pokes at Don's back.

Liv: Are you with someone Donny? - smiles -

Don: First of all, Hi Liv! And well was, but they seem to have left me here. 

Ruby: Yeah, seems your friends gave way - giggles-

Don: Wait - stood up and pulled the chairs for Ruby and Liv to sit on  -

Ruby: Such a gentleman. Really hard to see this guy and the ruthless mobster in NXT in one person.

Liv: I know Rue Rue! Donny for all his tough guy facade is a softie.

Don: Now Liv, let's not ruin the facade here - chuckles -

Liv: Aww - pouts then smiles - Okay

Ruby: You two seem to be hitting it off quickly huh? - turns to Don - Mind getting us some food?

Don: Of course, wouldn't want a hangry Riott Squad on my hands here. - gets food -

Don left the table as the Riott Squad were left there.

Ruby: Gionna, aren't you moving a bit too fast with Don here? 

Liv: No Rue Rue! He is pretty nice.

Ruby: That's what you said about Eric (Enzo Amore) and look what happened?

Liv: Dori... I don't think Patricio will be another Eric

Ruby: Look, all I am saying here is to guard your heart. You are doing well on your own anyway.

Liv: That is true - smiles - but I feel Don may be worth keeping around - giggles -

Ruby: Whatever you say, G - laughs - He is kinda hot you know

Liv: Rue Rue! - puts her hand to her mouth then playfully slaps her arm -

Ruby: Nah, he is yours G. - smiles - but I just need to see if he is into you as your are to him

As they were talking, Don was getting some food for the three of them, but then bumps into his opponent for tonight, Ricochet.

Ricochet: Oh hey, here is the guy who did a hit on my teammates! Nah kidding, but let me tell you, Ali is fine, so is Apollo. But watch your kicks man!

Don: Oh, thanks Trev

Ricochet: Call me Rico. Only Kacy calls me Trev.

Don: Oh right, Kacy's your...

Ricochet: Yup! And I can see two people are waiting for you with their food. But anyway, let's go crazy tonight. I will do some of my flips and reverses. But I will make you look like a million bucks out there night. What do you say?

Don: You got it, Trev..I mean Rico!

Ricochet: Alright, better go back to your harem my man. Hangry is never funny - laughs -

Don: What? - turns back to see Liv pouting - Oh geez

Ruby giggles as Don sees Liv pouting and walked fast to get to them with their plates of chicken and salad.

Don: Here we are ladies, your food has arrived

Liv: Donny! - pouts - why did you talk to Rico and not get back sooner?

Don: He is my opponent tonight. We needed to plan things out for my debut match.

Liv: - beams up - Tonight's your debut! Oh no... - pouts again - sowwy for making you rush earlier....

Don: Nah it's fine. Hangry is never fun. Plus, I know how you are with food Liv so shall we eat?

Liv and Ruby: - nods and smiles -

The three ate and shared some of their debut match jitter stories. Once done, they stayed on to let the food melt.

Liv: So, while you have Ricochet. We have to face Lana and Nattie.

Ruby: I don't even know what they want us to do with those two. Nattie's fine sure. But CJ (Lana), I get she is training but she needs more time. I don't get why they are pushing them against us when we have just reunited.

Liv: I don't know too Rue. I get Lana is working double time to get her head out of water after Miro left, but I don't know if having them as opponents help us in any way after reuniting. 

Don: You know, life is a mystery. Heck, I had to grind everyday just to make it here. I know you two have too. Especially Ruby coming from the indies. I bet some day all this will pay off somehow and someway. 

Producer: Don Patricio! There you are, we need you at gorilla. Ricochet is there and so are the Hurt Business for your segment.

Don: Aww man! Guess I have to go.

Liv: Good luck Donny! - smiles - 

Don: Thanks Liv. Chin up, both of you!

Don Patricio left, leaving Ruby and Liv at the table. 

Ruby: A man of wise words. I can see glimpses of hope with him G. G?

Liv was left staring at the direction Don left and had hearts in her eyes.

Liv: (mind: Oh fuck is he dreamy! I want to be his ...friend!)

Ruby: Earth to Gionna Daddio! - waves her hand across Liv's eyes - 

Liv: Oh - snaps out of trance - Ruby were you saying something?

Ruby: You are so in love with him G - laughs -

Liv: I know... - realizes then blushes - Hey!

Gorilla position

Don Patricio arrives and indeed sees Ricochet and the Hurt Business.

MVP: So we will be having my VIP Lounge segment to introduce you as the official newest member of the Hurt Business. You talk while Rico here interrupts you. 

Ricochet: And as you beat me down, up to you how we set that up, Shane will set us up for a match. Now go nuts tonight and as I said, let's unload what we can but I will make you look like a milion bucks.

Don: Got it guys.

Monday Night Raw , VIP Lounge

MVP, Shelton Benjamin, Cedric Alexander, and Bobby Lashley were already in the ring as MVP was about to begin his talk show segment.

MVP: We, the Hurt Business, welcome you to a special edition of the VIP Lounge. - boos grow louder - So tonight, you are all wondering, why are we out here? Well you all saw last week how we decimated Apollo Crews, Ali and Ricochet. We made sure that those three learn that we mean what we say when it comes to being on the business side of the hurt. Cedric here has known of it and has had enough of being on that side and has decided that he wants in. So our guest for tonight is someone who last week had gone in. So Don Patricio, if you may please!

Don Patricio walks out to the ring to a lot of boos. Looking sharp wearing a business casual attire, he went to the ring unfazed by the reaction. As he entered the ring, he shook hands with all the members of the Hurt Business. But upon reaching MVP, he gave him a bro hug then was given a mic.

MVP: Welcome to Monday Night Raw, Don Patricio. 

Don: At least someone here is welcome to see me, unlike these poor inbred hicks! - boos grew louder -

MVP: Yeah, they never know how to be pleased. So what brings out here to Raw, Donny?

Don: First of all, NOBODY ever calls me Donny. - MVP is seen holding his hands open and stepping back - But since we are associates and also, you are my mentor, I will let it slide for now. So all you idiots here want to know who the hell is this debonair, suave, sharply dressed gentleman in the ring not being beaten down by the Hurt Business. I am Don motha-fucking Patricio. Hustler, brawler, money maker. I have learned from the best here - points to MVP - and I was brought in to add to the ranks and aid in the expansion of the brand. I am here to help the business grow further. And ensure our boss, MVP can focus on a world title reign. Our CEO Lashley, retains and remains US Champ. But you dare say, Don, there's 3 of you left without a damn title? Well, ever heard of the Freebirds? We will crush and deal some hurtin' on any cheap, pathetic tag team they throw at us. Ricochet walks to the ring with a mic in hand

Ricochet: Come on MVP. Are you then going to buy the cameraman into joining the Hurt Business too? Hey you, Mr. Suave debonair and boring! - cheers grow loud - You may call yourself a brawler and hustler but how about adding one thing to your introduction. You never finished the job and I'm still here. And let me exact some revenge on what you did to Ali and Apollo.

Ricochet was daring enough to walk into the ring and stand face to face with Don Patricio. Cedric Alexander, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin were about to corner Ricochet until MVP signaled the 3 to back away.

MVP: No no! Don, if you may.

Don: Rico, you want to exact your revenge for me kicking both Ali and Apollo's heads in. You got it. - cheers - But don't be deceived into thinking I'm not dressed to compete. In fact, - tosses his polo shirt at Ricochet's face then grounds and pounds him -

Referees enter the ring separating the two.

Shane McMahon comes out stopping the two from further beating each other up.

Shane: Alright, I see that you two want to fight. You got it. We have a referee there so ring the bell.

Ricochet v. Don Patricio (w/ Hurt Business at ringside)

Highlights of the Match:

- Don Patricio hits an Overhead Belly to Belly Snap Suplex

- Ricochet hits a dropsault then once Don Patricio tries to get up, connects with an Axe Kick

- Ricochet hits a RickRack

Middle of the Match

Don Patricio rolls away after kicking out of a pin after the RickRack. Don Patricio was being separated from Ricochet by the Cedric Alexander, Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley. This did not stop Ricochet from running to the ropes to hit all 4 men with a Sasuke Special II.

End of the Match:

Ricochet was about to hit the 630 Cannonball Senton on Don Patricio, but MVP left commentary to distract him. Ricochet instead hit a diving spinning heel kick on MVP and hopped to the ropes again to hit the 630 Cannonball Senton, landing instead on Don Patricio's knees, back first. Don Patricio then hits a cross chop on Ricochet to hit him with the Silencer. Don Patricio was now waiting for Ricochet to stand up, and once he stood on one knee, Don sped up to hit the Mercy Shot. Don then pins Ricochet.

ONE....TWO....THREE!

Mike Rome: The winner of this match, Don Patricio! 

Samoa Joe: The man of the hour has proved himself! Don Patricio won the match.

Tom Philips: Yeah, with the help of the Hurt Business

Byron Saxton: As if you'd call what we saw a win. Ricochet had Don Patricio beat if not for MVP. 

MVP then rose up and saw along with the other Hurt Business members that Don Patricio had beaten down Ricochet. MVP stood in the ring with Don looking at his mentor. MVP looked unpleased with the result and Don knew what had to be done. He then upped the brutality by flipping Ricochet on his stomach and locking him in the Irreversible Crisis.

Ricochet taps but as the match was already over, the referee could only try to separate Don from Ricochet. Don let go then upon seeing Ricochet nearly kneel, he hit him again with another Mercy Shot. Don's arms were raised by MVP and Lashley as the Hurt Business stood tall after the victory of their newest addition.

Backstage

The Hurt Business were celebrating the victory of its newest member when Ricochet came in clutching his head and neck.

Ricochet: Hey man, may have gone a bit too harsh there but I took the punishment in. Just need to ice but pull back a bit. Otherwise, good job earlier.

Don: Thanks man! - shook his hand - pardon if I took it a step too far.

MVP: Rico, not to worry, I will have some word with him. Rest easy!

Cedric: Say hello to Kacy for us now.

Ricochet steps away then MVP confronts Don

MVP: Look kid, I know you want to make the most out of your time here. But you're slipping away. I lent you my moveset but don't do your opponent dirty by going overboard with the moves. You need to work safe in order to survive.

Don: I know mentor. But I want to prove myself so bad...

MVP: Yes, we know but come on. Don't be too stiff is all I'm saying. At least in the ring.

Don: I understand. I will be more careful.

MVP: Alright, now shall we celebrate your win at the club tonight after Raw? 

Don: Let's do it!

The Hurt Business, save for Don Patricio were already in casual clothing, so Don had to wash up after his match. 

Riott Squad v. Natalya and Lana

Skip to the end of the match

Natalya tagged in Lana, but Liv hit the Jersey Codebreaker on her. The referee stopped Liv's pin on Natalya as she was no longer the legal woman in the match. This gave Lana the chance to nearly connect the sit out facebuster on Liv, but Liv irish whipped Lana into the ropes to hit the ObLIVion. Lana however scouted and had Liv land on her back, for Lana to pin her with a schoolgirl pin.

ONE....TWO...

Lana, by the two count had used the ropes for leverage. Ruby nearly stepped in but...

THREE!

Mike Rome: The winner of this match, Natalya and Lana!

Lana rolled out of the ring immediately after the bell rang. Ruby walked near Liv, who was in tears out of frustration.

Backstage

Lana and Liv were talking and it was getting heated.

Lana: G I didn't know but creative just gave me that instruction.

Liv: I know, I understand. But why bring us back together to make us lose again?

Ruby: There you are Lana, mind if we talk it out with Liv by ourselves.

Lana: Sure. See you both next week then...

Lana walked away and Liv is in tears with Ruby there to console her.

Liv: I don't know if they are serious in keeping us around. You just came back from that double shoulder surgery. I was wallowing in the cards with creative not knowing what to do with me. Sarah was cut, I don't know if I am next? - in tears -

Ruby: G, come on. Want to go clubbing? To take our mind off this?

Liv: Alright Rue Rue. Let's get our mind away from this.  

Liv and Ruby changed to casual clothing and on the way to Ruby's rental car, passed by Don Patricio and the Hurt Business.

Liv: Those guys do love to party huh. Must be a very festive group to be with.

Ruby: Now Liv, are you concerned about the Hurt Business or just Patricio? 

Liv: Rue Rue! - giggles - let's go unwind at the club.

That was Chapter 2 of Hustle Livin'. A kinda short chapter by word count standards but that's all I got. This was actually supposed to be updated last week but time constraints got to me. 

Not to worry, an update will be out for Monday as it is a long weekend over here.
