Backstage

Don was already dressed up for tonight as he and Cedric have their first chance at the Raw Tag Team Championships. For Don, this is important this for him is the litmus test if he is championship caliber or if this is a one time thing.

As Don was zoning into focus for his upcoming match, he did not notice the quick footsteps and bouncing about until....

Liv: Donny! 

Don was caught off guard and stepped back in surprise due to the Problem Child's way of getting his attention. He saw Liv and breathed to catch his breath

Don: I asked for Liv, not Chucky! You scared me!

Liv: I wasn't cosplaying as Chucky - pouts - but you gave me an idea for some future gear - giggles -

Don: Oh great. But - breathes - please, don't do that again.

Liv: So why so focused earlier Donny?

Don: Well I am going for my first title opportunity on the main roster tonight.

Liv: Oh yeah, - smiles - you will do great Donny.

Don: I know you will in your match against Nattie and CJ

Liv then breathes and opens her arms wide.

Liv: One before we start the show?

Don knew what had to be done, so he wraps her in a friendly hug. Liv hugged back as tight and the two friends felt like nothing else was around to stop them.

That is until Cedric and Ruby saw their tag partners in a warm embrace and gave them a few minutes until Ruby smacked Liv's butt.

Liv's eyes suddenly opened and pouted at Don.

Liv: Donny you killed the moment.

Don: What do you mean?

Liv: You spanked my tushy...

Don: First of all, Liv, use your big girl words. Second, I didn't do that. My hands have always been on your back.

Liv: If it wasn't you, then... 

Ruby: Sorry to break the hug you two but we both need our tag partners to talk about last minute prep for the matches

Cedric: Uhhh... what she said!

Don: Lost your words Ced?

Cedric: Hey man, come on! Go be Donny Romantico later. For now, we got a match to prepare for.

Don: Guess it's see you later G?

Liv: Alright P - smiles - 

Ruby and Cedric: P? - looks at Don -

Don: What?

Riott Squad v. Lana and Natalya

Mike Rome: The following contest is scheduled for onefall

Mike Rome: First, Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan, the Riott Squad!

Joe: Well here comes a team I kinda like now and showing their edge.

Byron: Well, I do admire their tenacity but at times, it is coming off as offensive and hurtful

Joe: Boo hoo Saxton. They tried playing nice but it got them nowhere. Now they got this attitude, they seem to be finally hitting it off

Byron: That's just for Liv, Ruby seems to not want a part of that 

The Riott Squad remove their entrance coats as....

Mike Rome: And their opponents, first from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Natalya!

Joe: I'd say easy pickings for her but the Riotts just had to play dirty. So we may see a different result 

Byron: Well, I would say that payback is coming for their dirty ways but both teams are coming in with unclean hands

Mike Rome: And her tag team partner, the Ravishing One, Lana!

Byron: Well she is certainly not satisfied

Joe: Of course but this time, both teams must step up to the plate

Match Start
Liv and Lana start the match as both were unapologetic over what had happened over the past few weeks. Both hurled insults at one another. One insult from Lana triggered Liv

Lana: This will end the same way, you two were lucky up until now. We will send you back and join Sarah you washed up, misfit bitches!

Liv nods then charges at Lana for a Thesz press and begins to ground and pound on the Ravishing One. Lana was unable to mount any offense as Liv was slamming Lana's head to the mat. As the referee was counting close to 5 for Liv to break away, Liv screamed away from the referee

Ruby looked worried while Natalya was agitated but this led Lana to attempt a sneaky schoolgirl pin on Liv but Liv breaks the attempt to hit Lana with the basement dropkick

Match Highlights
- Lana does a double leg takedown as payback for Liv's Thesz press attack earlier. Also hits a Sliding Roundhouse Kick on Liv for a 2 count.
- Natalya is tagged in and hits Liv with a Snap Suplex to weaken her back.
- Natalya hits a Butterfly Suplex but midway through the lift, Liv counters into a Hurricanrana to cause separation to tag Ruby
- Ruby enters the ring to hit Superkicks to both Natalya and an intruding Lana
- Natalya tries to surprise Ruby with a Butterfly Suplex, but Ruby counters it into an Arm Drag
-  Lana comes in to hit a Roundhouse Kick to Ruby but Ruby slides out of the ring

Middle of the Match
Ruby is now outside trying to recover as Lana tries to pick up Ruby to cause more damage outside the ring. Lana rolls out to see Natalya hold Ruby in place with her back against the ring post. The Ravising One was readying herself to hit the Leader of the Riott Squad with a Corner Heel Kick. However, Liv was able to do a running front dropkick to Natalya to release Ruby. 

Ruby then fell on her knees as Lana's heel came into contact with the ring post as she shrieked in pain. Ruby then was able to regain her bearings as she threw Lana back into the ring.

Meanwhile, Natalya was winding up for a Discus Clothesline to the Problem Child, but Liv was able to counter it into a Float-Over-DDT on the outside, crashing both her back and Natalya's head on the outside mat. 

More match highlights
- Ruby tries to go for a superkick on Lana but Lana counters into a neckbreaker
- Lana attempts for a Chicken Hold Chinlock on Ruby, but Ruby was able to roll to escape
- Lana aims for a Roundhouse Kick but due to the damage from the ring post, was unable to lift her leg as Ruby catches her into a Sunset Flip Powerbomb.....

End of the match
Ruby had Lana in the Sunset Flip Powerbomb Pin position but Natalya somehow was able to break the pin. Lana was rolling to the corner as Natalya went back to be tagged into the match. Natalya hits the Discus Clothesline on Ruby for the pin, but Ruby breaks it instantly. 

Natalya then lifts Ruby for an Atomic Drop and as she was about to run for a basement dropkick, Liv pulls her legs from behind. This caused Natalya to trip and slip facedown, buying Ruby time to tag in the Problem Child. 

Liv tags herself in by baseball sliding a prone Lana down to the outside as she was still nursing her heel from earlier. Natalya tries once again for a Clothesline but Liv managed to do a Matrix then hit a mat slam with a scream. 

Liv tags in Ruby as Liv then sets up Natalya facing their corner with an Inverted DOuble Stomp Backstabber to the corner as Ruby is on the second turnbuckle to catch Natalya's head for a Deadly Nightshade. For her troubles, Liv hits Natalya with a Corner Hip Toss as she screams as Ruby goes in and Liv goes out in order for Ruby to tag Liv in for Ruby to wrench Natalya's arm for Liv to hit a 201 Facebreaker first, then for Ruby to finish with the Riott Kick.

Natalya ricochets to the ropes as Liv runs to Natalya for an ObLIVion for the pin.

ONE...TWO...THREE!

Mike Rome: The winners of this match, the Riott Squad!

Byron: Well, they won. THat's all I can say but it was quite the exchange

Joe: I love the edge of the Riotts

Tom: We shall see how far they can go with this new attitude.

Backstage
The Riott Squad along with Lana and Natalya had a group hug. They all celebrated their performance.

Liv: Hey CJ, hope the heel doesn't hurt.

Lana; Gonna have it checked but hey, you deserved the win more.

Ruby: I can't believe you two gave way

Natalya: Much as Bruce wants to push us to go over you two, as I've said, we will find our way together or separately, but you two at least deserve the win together. - smiles -

Liv: Oh my God, Nattie! - tears up -

Lana: Hey don't go soft on us Gionna 

Their celebration however ended with an irate Bruce Prichard walking towards them.

Bruce: What the hell was that?

Liv: What was what? A match.

Ruby: That we won

Bruce: Look don't play smart. We got a talent injured and this is all - points at the Riotts -  your fault!

Lana: I went careless in that spot. It's not ballet after all...

Bruce: Don't stick up for them. I was high on you two girls. Why drop the push for these two that the fans don't want together?

Natalya: Bruce, the fans don't want them together because you booked them bad

Bruce: They were all in on it, right Gionna?

Liv: You did that just so we can stay, but Sarah...

Bruce: She is a dime a dozen. You should be lucky I have patience to tolerate your cr....

Shane and MVP walked in on them, not pleased at this treatment from the man formerly known as Brother Love.

Shane: I booked it that way.

MVP: With TJ's (Tyson Kidd) help of course. You want to push talent but with the way you're doing it, with all due respect, we are driving them away along with the fans.

Bruce: Well they want something fresh. This Riott Schtick has gone on for far too

MVP: Bruce, enough. Please.

Bruce: You're lucky I have yet to pitch to the old man that your group is the next to split. - walks away angrily -

As Bruce walks away, MVP spoke under hushed tone

MVP: Don't you fucking dare you walking piece of blubber shit

Shane: Enough Hassan. - to Liv - you two are safe so long as we are here. But we have one more match for you two to end this tomorrow on Raw. 

The Riotts, Natalya and Lana understood and nodded in agreement.

Hurt Business (Cedric Alexander and Don Patricio) v. Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) (C)

Mike Rome: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the Raw Tag Team Championships

Mike Rome: First the challengers, at a combined weight of 435 pounds, representing the Hurt Business, Cedric Alexander and Don Patricio!

Joe: The presumptive and will-be next Raw Tag Team Champions, bringing respect and class back to the Raw Tag Team titles

Byron: Yeah right, by any means necessary be it clean or dirty

Joe: Will you just shut it with all this fair play nonsense?

Mike Rome: And their opponents, at a combined weight of 492 pounds, they are your Raw Tag Team Champions, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins, the Street Profits!

Joe: They had better partied hard because those belts are going to head to the Hurt Business

Byron: I feel that is too early to call

Match Start
Don and Dawkins start the match as both men were circling around the ring. Ford had a plastic cup raised as he led a We Want the Smoke chant. This led Don to attempt for a running clothesline, but Dawkins ducks as he hits Don with a Shoulder Tackle. Dawkins once more attempts for a Shoulder Tackle but Don counters into a Japanese Arm Drag.

Match Highlights
- Dawkins hits the Spear on Don
- Don hits Cravate Knee Strikes on Dawkins
- Dawkins hits Don with an Exploder Suplex but Cedric tags in
- Dawkins attempts a clothesline but Cedric counters into a dropkick
- Cedric hits a Springboard Clothesline on Dawkins
- Ford hits a Jumping Clothesline on Cedric
- Cedric hits a backflip Headscissors takedown on Ford
- Cedric hits a Spinning Back Elbow on Ford, but Ford was able to counter it into a DDT.

Middle of the match
Ford tags in Dawkins for an assisted Shiranui on Cedric. Dawkins pins Cedric but Don breaks the pin. Don rolls Cedric out of the ring for the Hurt Business to regroup. This was shortlived as Montez launches himself from the ropes to do a Springboard Crossbody on the Hurt Business Tag Team Contingent outside. 

Match Highlights
- Don was tagged in later on as Dawkins attempts a Spear. This was countered into a Drop Toe Hold Facebuster
- Don hits a Big Boot on Dawkins as Dawkins's head landed on their corner's middle turnbuckle
- Don tags in Cedric for him to hit the Springboard Flatliner on Dawkins for a pin but he kicks out

End of the match
Cedric is aiming by the ropes as he runs but Don does a sneak tag, which the referee counted as Cedric hits the Neuralyzer and Don hits the Silencer for a pin

ONE.... TWO...

Ford breaks the pin to save the team as Cedric attempts to hit the Lumbar Check on Ford, but Ford was able to escape and counter into a DDT. This led Don to hit a Big Boot on Ford. What he did not count on was that Dawkins was readying himself to Spear Don, and connect.

Don at this point was clutching on his core as he was unknowingly ended up in the Street Profits's corner as Dawkins hits the NBA Slam on the Hurt Business's newest acquisition. Ford tags in as Dawkins hits the Annointing as Ford goes to the top rope to hit From The Heavens on Don and pin Don.

ONE...TWO...

Cedric was attempting to rise up, but Dawkins intercepts with a Shoulder Tackle

THREE!

Mike Rome: The winners of the match and still your Raw Tag Team Champions, the Street Profits!

Joe: What a match!

Byron: Hey Joe, Profits are still champions.

Joe: Something tells me, this isn't over

As the Street Profits celebrated their title win and headed to the ramp, Cedric was slamming his fist on the mat as Don was clutching his ribs and was most upset.

Backstage
Cedric and Don were shaking hands with the Street Profits over their match earlier.

Cedric: Boys, you did great

Ford: Hey, don't think yo two did nothing. We made each other shine!

Dawkins: That's true dog!

Don: Well, we all did great. Just sucks tonight wasn't our night huh?

Cedric: Hey, maybe somewhere down the line

Ford: Yeah guys, we all got this.

MVP went to the group and congratulated them over their match.

MVP: Gents, that was quite a teaser for things to come. Hopefully the end will be as explosive.

Don: Well, better I earn the shot more than let the title go to me this early.

MVP: Now don't be talking like that Donny. My protege, you're more than ready but it's sweeter to prolong the chase than make the journey short

Cedric: He's right.

As they talked, Liv passed by to hug Don.

Liv: Donny, you okay?

Don: Well... I'm quite okay. Just isn't our night...yet

Liv: You will be champs in due time - smiles - Hopefully the same can be said of myself and Rue Rue if not for Bruce

Don: What did he say this time?

Liv: We apparently went off script and he blamed me for "injuring" Lana

Don: What the...

MVP: No, leave Bruce to me Don. Just keep your head down for now. Once we proceed with the plan, we will be able to bring justice.

Don: Understood.

Liv: That being said, want me to break the...

Don: No. This is fine - smiles, then clears his throat - guys, mind if she and I just stay on.

Cedric: Alright Don Romantico, we will give you two space. See you tomorrow!

MVP and the Street Profits followed suit as Don and Liv hugged it out until they parted ways for the night to rest up for Raw.
