Error - VIXX (I just heard of this song recently and haven't been able to stop listening to it)

"Wait so you don't like pistachio ice cream? I swore I thought you did this whole time."

"Yeosang, since when have you ever seen me eat pistachio ice cream?"

".... Good point."

Minki snickers and nudges his shoulder with his own, taking a scoop of his cookie dough ice cream, "So, you got the walnut ice cream for your prince charming?"

Yeosang blushes and waves the bag in front of him, with the big tug of walnut ice cream inside, "Hell yeah. My celebration gift to him for the plan working out."

"Did he ever explain what happened with the messages?" Minki asks, laughing a little to himself to the remembrance of it. He sometimes recalls it to keep himself happy before falling asleep.

Now the blush Yeosang had deepens to a more vivid crimson red, "Oh um, he said Yeonjun - You remember him right? The one from the meeting, always smiling-"

"Yes Yeosang I do."

"Anyways he apparently took his phone and - why are you looking at me like that?"

Minki had this big grin on his face, watching his brother nearly trip a few times by the amusing stare being directed to him, "You're so whipped dude, it's crazy. Even after you knew what happened with Jimin."

This actually made Yeosang take a moment to be a bit more reflective to the statement, but when he thinks of Taemin he just can't help but smile to himself because of just.... His essence.

He can't find himself staying away from him, even if he tried.

"I don't know, I feel like we are connected in some way," He says, more to himself with eyes now focused on his pistachio ice cream, "I just feel drawn to him. Something about him makes me just excited about him, who knows.... There's still a lot for me to learn about him, and I hope he gives me the opportunity to know more."

Instead of Minki looking at him smugly, he looks more sympathetic by noticing how calm Yeosang got by only talking about this alone.

He's resonates this .... Calm and practically glowing aura with this warm light radiating from him.

It even made Minki feel excited for him too.

Even though the two haven't had so much interaction, and Taemin usually tells him off all the time, those moments he has with him are still valuable to the possibility of what it could become.

Yeosang is hopeful, and it's the first time Minki has seen him like this about someone.

So he places a hand on his shoulder, rubbing it gently, "Your heart is too big, just make sure you're making the right decision with him - Hey! Watch it!"

Minki was abruptly bumped by someone - who clearly wasn't watching where they are going, making the ice cream he had fall to the ground. Yeosang instantly getting into brother mode looks at the hooded man, a scowl on his lips, "The fuck man-"

And suddenly he chokes, hand immediately wrapping around Minki's wrists - who also evidently tensed up - when the man suddenly pulls the end of a gun from his pocket, but not out, just enough to show as a source of intimidation with a nasty snarl to the twins.

"Who is Yeosang?"

Oh God.

Immediately Yeosang's throat tightens, horror filling his eyes as he looks at Minki to also meet his unease stare back.

Oh no.

No, fuck!

"I'll ask again," And the man got closer to them after they refused to answer, "If you try to run now, you will not only be after chased by me, but others around who are ordered to shoot if one does run. So, we can do this the easy way, or hard way"

Yeosang lost his ability to breathe right now, his grip tightening on Minki's wrist as his eyes only stays focused to the man holding the gun.

Did the meeting go wrong?

What is happening? Why him? Fuck!

He hasn't done anything wrong!

Suddenly Minki steps forward, "I am Yeos-"

Yeosang slaps a hand to his mouth and yanks him back immediately, eyes hard on the hooded figure with this force to speak because like hell is he going to let Minki be dragged to this, "Don't try to protect me Minki, just go find the heirs and Jeongguk, Jimin or Taehyung," He orders shakily, letting him go and stepping forward.

Seems like the man didn't need so much convincing before he grabs Yeosang by the arm, glancing to a teary eyed Minki still frozen in his place, "If you run away the second I turn around, you'll be dead. That's a promise."

Minki didn't react, only lets a tear glide down his cheek with glaring eyes as Yeosang gives him one last stare and lets himself be tugged the opposite direction, back towards the entrance of the park where a black van awaits.

But they never made it so far.

Just before they could step out the gates, the man who was holding Yeosang was suddenly shot on the head from behind; quick and so abrupt with force.

One of Minki's hands clasps over his mouth to what happened, shocked, as the man falls to the ground limply with Yeosang frozen beside him in horror.

He's never seen a dead body before.

And that's when chaos broke out.

People who were near by suddenly screams to the dead body, and immediately all ran to different directions in horror while desperately trying to get out of the park. Even so the twins couldn't move, too choked up by fear to do so.

They're so scared.

"GEM!"

A voice suddenly shouts over the screaming of people, making Minki snap his attention to the side to see a familiar male running through the crowd with hysterical eyes while he desperately tried to reach Yeosang as he shoves his way in his run.

Taemin?

What is he doing here?

The fuck is going on? He should be at the club!

Yeosang snaps his head up upon hearing the voice, eyes still filled in panic but it immediately felt like he could breathe again the second he saw Taemin running towards him. He wanted to scream in relief, wanting to get the fuck out of here but still can move by his anxiety.

But at that moment he also noticed something.

Something that Minki also noticed too.

And that was a man, also in a hood, catching up from behind Taemin with a gun evidently in hand to his side.

Oh no.

No! TAEMIN!

It was out of sudden impulse that Yeosang's feet took off, at the same time Minki's did too.

The two of them going directly to Taemin, while he tried to get to Yeosang.

Every heart beat sounded louder.

Pants of breaths becoming shallow.

And the distress escalated and pushed Yeosang to run faster, screaming over the crowd for Taemin to get down, but it was like his voice was fazed out in the background. Taemin kept running towards him, and Minki was running towards them, screaming the second he saw the man raise his gun up and aims.

Just as both of them reached Taemin, wrapping their arms around him as a shield.

BANG

Shallow gasps followed by a ringing in the air is all the three of them could hear.

Followed by a scream from Yeonjun in a distance.

"NO!"
