For a long time, Taemin always wanted to experience what it was like to be a regular person.

To be alone without a bodyguard, travel without going on a private jet, eat street food - just feel like a normal person.

Once upon a time, he thought he felt what it was like to have a normal life when Jimin entered his life.

Back then, before Taemin opened up to him about how he wanted to experiment things with him, Jimin was sweet.

He wasn't involved in much besides being a bouncer at the club, but to Taemin he was always delicate and warm. They would do normal things, like going to a paint shop or roller skating. Sometimes they would go on night walks, others have sleep overs and cuddle in each other's arms, and most wait for each other after their jobs to go eat at a local restaurant down the street of Jimin's work at their usual spot.

With Jimin, Taemin felt like he did touch a graze on how it was like to live a normal life.

And he loved it.

He loved going through that with Jimin.

Now everything is not the same anymore.

In every aspect.

His Jimin isn't sweet anymore.

No longer can he go outside and do those things he treasured doing back then.

Now it's about being heartless, and doing work.

But the least Taemin could do now is board on a plane with the public - feeling a bit of some normality being in the environment.

And it did feel nice, perhaps a bit lonely.

That's okay though.

Sometimes the best travels is the ones that we must face alone.

This being one of them.

So, with a shy smile the entire time, perhaps a bit relaxed really, Taemin finally scooted to his window seat in the plane - actually feeling a bit giddily by the sight of the people also moving along the aisle.

Just people.

Who don't even pay mind to him or even take a second glance of fear to his status - since they don't know.

Some going on vacation, back home, or for business.

But Taemin sure did feel like he was finally..... Meant somewhere, if that made any sense.

Just felt normal.

And he liked feeling normal....

Looking out the window now, he smiles to himself on this daring move to travel on his own and softly kicks his feet in excitement - being careful to not hit the seat in front of him. He brushes his caramel long hair caressing his eyelashes nervously, trying not to squeal under his breath by how enthusiastic he is for this trip -

Someone suddenly took the seat beside him, and for a second Taemin jolted in shock because it didn't process his mind he was actually going to have someone sit next to him.

That's okay, it shouldn't bother him.

Well, time to make a new friend!

"Um excuse me, do you know how long this flight is going to take?"

Taemin who's blood circulation froze.

No...... Fucking ....... Way-

Snapping his gaze to the side, Taemin instantly glimpses to the familiar person sitting beside him with a black cap on and a black t-shirt - revealing his mural of tattoos on either arm as he calmly looks at his phone.

This can't be real.

This has to be a dream.

Ain't no way this is fucking happening right now-

"Oh look, it says here we will make a stop to California and then it'll take us directly to Puerto-"

"Jeongguk," Taemin whispers, more so to himself to make sure he was not fucking hallucinating right now, "The FUCK ARE YOU-"

A hand covers over his lips sharply by Jeongguk's rough hand, with his glare over at him while he holds the phone up with the flight details.

"Shh, we're in a plane. Can't be too loud."

Taemin intensively glares back and slaps his hand off his face, "What are you doing here?!"

"Taking a vacation, obviously," He scoffs, texting back to a message he received, "I've never been abroad, is it fun?"

Angrily Taemin was about to undo his seatbelt and get the fuck off this plane, but the flight attendant suddenly announced that the main door is now closed and the plane is about to take off shortly.

This can't be fucking happening -

How did he even know he was traveling in the first place?!

"Did Woosung tell you where I was going?!"

Jeongguk shrugs to himself by Taemin's exclaim, smirking as he puts his phone on airplane mode, "You'd be surprised with what I'm capable of doing."

Taemin huffs back, glaring out the window with arms crossed, "You better be getting off at California."

"Nope," Taemin closes his eyes in irritation, a nerve pulsing his temple, "We're about to go on a very loving vacation and you can be my tour guide! I've never been on a plane too, will I throw up?"

"Since when are you this talkative?" Taemin hisses under his breath, still glaring out the window.

"Trust me I can be very quiet, I don't talk much," Jeongguk admits lowly, putting his seatbelt on, "I thought you'd find me talking more comforting."

Taemin rubs his temple, grunting under his breath, "Don't pretend to be someone you're not around me. I hate that shit."

Slowly Jeongguk looks at him, twitching a grin, "So you prefer me being more emo?"

Taemin didn't say anything back, only wished he had a gun to shoot his fucking head off if he could.

Here he thought he was going to experience his vacation alone. Go on some self empowering journey and be able to handle things on his own.

But now he has another baggage to carry.

Truth is, Jeongguk isn't his responsibility.

He shouldn't really care actually whatever may happen to him.

But guess deep down inside Taemin's broke heart, a fragment of the broken glass still feels that attachment for Jimin.

No matter what he does, that small part of Taemin will always belong to Jimin.

No matter how much he hurts him.

So that means, Jeongguk is his responsibility to some extent.

At this very moment, Taemin despised being vulnerable and emotional.

Since Jeongguk is only going to hurt him after all.

This is going to be a fucking disaster.
