I am a puddle
I'm shallow and everyone can
See right through me
I sit in a dirty parking lot
On a dreary day
Gray and gray and gray
But you are the ocean
Deep and unforgiving
Everyone watches you in awe
No matter what I do
I can't compete with your mystery
You rock a little back and forth
And suddenly you're better than me
But I've given up.
I wallow in my parking lot
And wait to evaporate
