Come one, come all to the circus.

First of all, apologies for putting Ruby through so? much pain? But also not sorry. I adore her but this is her origin story.

This is the second book that I consider "canon" in my MCU series that is actually out and published (the first being Holly and the Archer). Ruby will not appear again until Infinity War because, surprise! She's not at Midtown anymore and there's no way to fit her in anywhere before then anyway.

There's such a range of characters in this series to develop that I purposely excluded from this story. In Auburn's trilogy we meet Tony's new love interest Meredith and an Thor's nephew, Ari, who is adopted into the Stark family. But there's no time in Ruby's story to go into that nor are they relevant to Ruby at this very moment.

I view Tony, Zoe and Auburn as the core three and they will very much appear throughout the series and I really hope you stick with me through that.
