PART 62

Geet's parents reached a bit late ... and were greeted by Savitri Devi and Yash... then the ladies-Geet's mother and Grandmother -were instantly taken by her.. while yash settled with Geet's father... Yash knew what his mother gonna talk to them both and so he engaged Mr Khanna in talks with him...

Avi:- Mama plz, mujhe gift de do naa... promise main sirf dekh ke rakh doonga... plz plz ...

Avi kept buttering Geet from time to time and Geet, being a sweet mother, couldn't have refused the kid and so, she smiled at Avi.. Who knew this was a green signal to him... and excitingly jumped up and down... Geet laughed at his happiness and ruffling his hairs, looked here and there to locate Maan...

There he was, busy with one of his business associates ... Geet sighed and then said something in Avi's ears and he went to oblige, what His mother has asked him for...

Maan was talking to someone when he felt a tug at his pants ... Looking down, an instant smile spread across his lips .. He bend down to reach Avi's height...

Maan:- Kya hua Beta???

Avi:- Mama aap ko bula rahi hain... Thori dair ke liye ...

Maan got mum at this and looked at His client , who was passing him a smile... Surely it felt like embarrassing, to be called by your wife like that ...Maan looked down at His son and smiled ...

Maan:- Avi, beta, mama ko bolo main aata hoon...

Avi:- Nahi papa, abhi chalo mere saath... Warna mama hume gift nahi dengen... Maine kitna manaya hai mama ko gift dene ke liye... plz chalo naa...

Client (spoke up at that):- Its ok Mr Khurrana... carry on... Am here...

Saying that, Client smiled and Maan thanked him... Then went with an over joyed Avi... once they reached the staircase ... They saw Geet standing outside Avi's room... She smiled at them both and gestured them to come ...

Geet:- I hope, Aapko ye gift pasand ayega... (With that Geet opened Avi's bedroom.. and The Three went in)

Avi was happily surprised to see his new room... It was total opposite to what it was before... He went in and started to look at every single thing around there... While Maan stood at the entrance itself shocked at what he saw...

Maan(ST):- wow... How did she manage to renovate this room??? That too without letting anyone know abt it ???

Avi:- wow.. mama its so so beautiful... Thank you so much... (He ran to Geet and hugged her... so delighted to see his new room) While Geet too hugged him and was happy that her efforts of days and nights did go well which made Avi to smile and be happy...

When Avieet shifted to Maan's room, and this room got empty... Geet started to think of making this dull room alive with colors and other stuffs and at that time itself She asked Yash for its renovation and He happily agreed... So it became a secret of Geet and Yash... till this day...

Avi:- Itne sare toys..gifts wo bhi sirf mere liye ???

Geet :- Haan.. Aap ho he itne special ...

Avi:- I love you mama... Thank you.. .

Geet:- Aww, mera baby...

Avi(then turned to Maan):- Papa aap mujhe kya de rahe ho???

Geet:- Arey Avi , ye sab saaman papa he tou laye hain...maine tou sirf sajaya hai... (Geet covered up for Maan as she saw Maan going lost in thoughts... Maan too looked at her in gratitude and made a resolution to buy Gift for Avi and Geet as in compensation for today... He felt low.. But then Avieet's talks distracted him and he looked at them both)

Avi:- Really ???

Geet:- Haan...

Maan(whispered):- Thanks ... (To which Geet smiled)

Avi:- Main sab ko bata ke aata hoon ke mama ne mujhe new room gift kia hai...

With that Avi ran off from there... Maan smiled at them both.. and Geet too got up from floor, and looked at Maan...

Geet:-Did you like it ???

Maan:- That really was thoughtful Geet...

Geet(shrugged ):- I just wanted to make him happy... And plus, he is growing so, he would need a separate room, soon... so thought of something useful for him...

Maan looked at her... lost in her words... She was thinking abt his future too, means she wasn't lost in him but actually was thinking of his future needs... whereas Maan thought she just was being a childish and lost in the kid...He felt happy, that he took a right decision on not thinking on sending Avi to boarding ...She would have been felt so much HURT and pained , as she might had spent lots of days on renovating and decorating Avi's room... He sighed... and nodded at her...

Geet(felt a bit awkward at his silence):- Am sorry, if you didn't like... I mean, I didn't seek your permission... I just asked Papa ji and he was ok so.. I ...

Maan(cut her, looking at her reluctance):- Geet... Stop being afraid of me...Am not going to do anything ... Every time you talk , its like you are scared of me... (Though he was shocked that His father didn't tell him abt this but didn't show her his reaction when she already was feeling scared of his reactions..So, Maan masked the shock)

Geet:- Its True ...I get scared of your anger... what if...

Maan:- Am not angered ... for anything ... not anymore... Am happy that you thought abt this and did it ... Its really very nice... and its YOUR house too... so you don't need to get my permission for these little things ... which really are big steps ...

Maan smiled and Geet looked at him in awe...He was giving her a few rights here... He was ok,with her this change .. and she liked that .. A small shy smile appeared on her lips and she looked down... Maan came close to her and took her hands in his ...

Maan:- Don't be afraid of me ... (Geet smiled yet again and nodded)

Geet:- I will.. Just see the guests ... (saying so, she took her hands off his and rushed outside ... Maan sighed and smiled .. She easily got shy nowadays ... Maybe coz of his gestures... He smiled and left the room.. after closing the door behind him)

Geet was searching her parents ... among all the guests and was surprised that her parents weren't there ... She met with NT..

Geet:- Uhh!!NT Bhabhi... Did you see my parents ???

NT:- yes.. They were with Dadimaa..I think she was taking them to her room..

Geet(smiled):- Oh ok.. Thank you..

NT smiled and both the girls went opposite.. With NT towards the party and guests and Geet, towards Dadimaa's room...

But her feet got frozen at the doorsteps when she heard the three ladies talking rather arguing ... and Geet thought to hear them first, before entering ... or leaving them alone ...

Geet's Dadi (GD):-How can you suggest like that ??? She was blasting on her DIL (Geet's mother) She too was angry that G's mother talked like that to Maan...

GM:- what wrong I did??? Maa ji, I just want Geet's happiness... and that's why I asked Maan to shift Avi to boarding or somewhere else so that Geet will be free from that kid and give her all attention for making her marriage work...

Geet's heart stopped beating for a few secs hearing what ladies were planning to do.. and tears made their ways soon, from her eyes... and she recalled Her mother's talks with Maan when they visited HP...

Geet couldn't hear anything else and went from there while the ladies continued to argue with each other...

Dadimaa:-Beta, don't mind.. But this isn't a right way.. This is utterly wrong ... I won't support your this decision and I have already told Yash and Maan abt my decision... Avi isn't going anywhere... and that's final.. (She told her decision firmly and sternly rendering Geet's mother speechless to even argue)

GD:- yes , I second Savitri...

With the elders curt response to her, Geet's mother was rendered mum.. and she sighed in frustration.. and anger... She wasn't wrong either.. As she just wanted her daughter's happiness... But maybe she was thinking wrong in sending Avi away from their lives.. That would have caused no good to either of them... but only would have made Her own daughter to suffer...

Precap:- Hmm.. Geet's HURT...Will she question Maan???

Alright ... Didn't know which room will be perfect as I loved them both in a way or the other..So, you can imagine on either of them.. and abt rest of the gifts .. They were given/suggested by lots of ppl... @envi, @CoolHania, @RedCoats, @ xolfiya, @Mahek, and @all others too, for suggesting lots of ways to let Avi stay back... Thank you so much...
