Geet smiled at the way Avi sweetly bossed her round and she was back to her chirpy self... in few secs ... Maan sighed, seeing her getting her back to herself ...

Maan(ST):- Must be someone really special and close to her heart... She is so much worried for her... Hope.. that lady would be fine ...

On their way back.. Avi saw a vendor ... and ran that side ... Geet and Maan followed him...

Geet:- Hmmm..tou aapko ice cream khaani hai...

Avi:- Haan mama... aao naa...

Geet looked at Maan ... Who nodded with a smile and went to stand beside Avi.. Geet smiled and asked for 3 chocolate ice creams ...

Maan looked at her, she was back to herself ... thanks to Avi... And he thought its perfect time to tell them that they are leaving ...

Maan:- Uhh!! Geet...We are going back tomorrow...

Geet looked at him.. a bit sad... at that announcement ...but nodded... While they started to walk back to the home...Avi too looked at her sad eyes...

Avi:- Nahi papa... plz ek aur din... Hum kal tak yahan rahengey plz plz ...

Geet and Maan looked at Avi... confused .. Finally, Geet asked him...

Geet:- Par Avi, aap tou bore ho rahey thay naa, yahan par??

Avi:- Haan par aaj kitna maza aaya aapke saath bahar chal kar...hum ne ice cream bhi khae ... Hum kal phir ghoomne jaengey... (He then looked at Maan with pleading face)

If it was the old Maan.. He would have scolded him and anyhow would have convinced them to go back.. But this Maan was changing .. and he, himself wanted to make a place in the kid's heart.. This was another one opportunity to make a place in Avi's heart, without much of the efforts on his part.. so he smiled..

Maan:- Fine.. We will go day after tomorrow...

Geet (looked at him with surprise):- Really???

Maan nodded in her direction and they entered Haveli... Her father was reading newspaper.. when Avi came from behind and hugged his naanu... He smiled and turned to look at Maan and Geet...

GF:- you both are back...

Geet :- yes papa... where's mama???

GF:- oh !! She went to see her friend...She is ill...I hope, you guys ate lunch??? If not, then Geet beta, you are going to make lunch...Coz your mother will be late...

Geet:- oh ... ok... (She smiled at her father and went in, Avi followed her... while Maan took the chair opposite to Geet's father.. took a news paper from the table and went through it)

Inside the kitchen...

Avi was standing beside Geet... chatting with her..while She was trying to make the food... Geet was a bit upset as she was to leave her parents.. she was lost in her own thoughts.. First her Miss chopra was suffering from some disease and she wanted to ask abt that from her mother.. since she lived in here... Maybe she knew where Miss Chopra was ... But as her mother was gone to her friend's place, guess she needed to wait ...

Avi:- Mama aap sun rahi ho naa.???

Geet:- Huhh??? (Avi made a face) Sorry Avi.. main kuch aur he soch main hoon...

Avi:- Pata hai, aap sad ho ke hum wapis jaa rahey hain.. Hai naa?? (Geet smiled and nodded) tabhi tou maine papa ko bola ek aur din yahan rehne ko..

Geet:- Matlab??? (She didn't understand what he said)

Avi:-Maine dekha tha aapka sad face... jab papa ne wapis jane ki baat ki thi...

Geet(smiled and took him up in her arms):- Achaa ji.. tou ye tumhara plan tha??? (She tickled him and he giggled.. along with Geet)

Maan saw that from the kitchen door and smiled at them both... At that point, he got assured that he can never ever beat their love for each other... He might get a place in Avi's heart on his own but The place which Geet has gotten in his heart, was far beyond his reach...But he didn't mind that at all...If he was kinda, Jealous before , then now he adored their bonding... He coughed and Geet put Avi down...

Maan:- Am going to the room..

Geet:- Ah!! Food is almost ready... (She got scared what if, he got angry on Avi's antics ... But to her surprise, he answered her with a smile)

Maan:- will just freshen up and come ...

Geet nodded and he went in.. while Geet started to arrange the table...Couldn't help but smile..

Geet(ST):- Hmm Mr Hubby Khurrana is smiling too much today... Must be our lucky day...

Evening, all were sitting in the lawn having tea/coffee

Geet:- umm.. papa we will leave day after tomorrow...

GF:- Its so soon beta??? (He looked at Maan) Was thinking you will be here for at least a week ...

Geet:- wo.. papa plan was just for 3 days.. His business will suffer so...

GF(smiled):- okhh... Understand ...

Avi:- Hum kal kahan ghoomne jaengey???

Geet:- ummm (she thought for a while) park... Hum naa, kal park jaengey... Wahan mere childhood ki bohat yaadein hain...

Geet's mother(jumped in, hearing her plans):- Maan beta.. won't you go with them???

Geet looked at Maan.. who nodded with a smile... He very well knew, a mother's worries ... She already had been eyeing him from the time they have entered Geet's home .. and not agreeing to anything, would meant that something was wrong in their relation so he smilingly nodded..

Next day, 

Maan and Geet went to the park .. Where Avi got lost in the play, Geet went after him... while Maan sat there on a bench, looking at Geet and Avi and their kiddish plays ... Maan only looked at them and smiled , when Geet glanced his way... She whispered something in Avi's ears and Avi ran in Maan's way...

Avi dragged Maan to their play and after a bit of initial reluctance, he sighed and played with Avi... After a while Maan excused himself on pretext of an important call...later on, Geet and Avi too came back and sat beside Maan on the bench...

They still were giggling ...Maan looked at them and sighed, when her mother's worried words rang in his ears ... He felt bad, but he had to talk to Geet on that, not here..Maybe when they are back to KM...

Geet (looked at him and found him lost somewhere looking at them):- Am sorry, wo you were just sitting here idly so I thought to get you engaged ... (Maan smiled) Did you like playing with us???

Maan:- Maybe played for the first time in my life ... (He gave her a small sad smile)

Geet:- Oh !! Uhh, I didn't mean to upset you...

Maan:- No, that's ok... Its just, never played before..Never had time for these plays ... and never liked to play... Thanks for involving me...

Geet just smiled.. She was feeling really bad, as he was lost in his past... Unknowingly , she opened his wounds ... She placed her hand over his , which was resting on the side of the bench and he looked at that way, first surprised and then passed her a small smile..They sat there for a while, and then Avi's hand also joined them, Maan and Geet looked at Avi's hand that was on top of Geet's and smiled at him... Since he too was smiling ...

Avi:- Ghar chalen??? (Geet looked at Maan)

Maan:- yes...

And then they returned back to the Haveli..
