PART 53

Geet smiled his way, taking him by shock, at her confident talks... He was amazed , the way she eased the tensed situation surrounding them... The way she heard and took all his talks like an understanding wife...amazed him...He thought living with a child, she was going to behave like a kid even in front of him.. but her matured talks at this point..proved his thoughts wrong..At this point, she managed to grab a tiny place for herself... in his HEART...He smiled and looked away... while their journey to HP contd...  

Geet got down from the car,talking with Avi... She was excited to be here...While Maan had a small talk with the driver... Though, their trip was unplanned .. But her family was informed before..as per Maan's instructions.. Dadimaa had told her friend-Geet's grandmother.. and right now, her parents came out to receive their daughter and SIL..

Geet hugged her mom, and a few tears spilled from her eyes...While Her dad shook his head...

Father:- Geet, you are married now, for almost a year and still you are crying ??? Not good...

Geet came to her father and buried her head in his chest.. Only if, they knew, how much Geet has missed her parents at the time of the case... then they might have been understanding her condition..A few more tears spilled from her eyes while she was hugging her father but then she wiped her face ...and then turned to Maan... Who was now talking with her mother... Geet's father escorted them inside... Her mother was delighted to see the little Avi...and he followed them, holding onto Geet's pallu... a bit scared of the new ppl.. and new surroundings... His earlier meeting with them was only once, at the marriage ...and he had long forgotten their faces ...Geet understood his reluctance and so she once again introduced him to her parents ...Avi felt a bit ease with them now ... But still, didn't leave Geet's pallu...And was on her side ...

All entered the Mansion and there, her Dadimaa was waiting for Geet... She came towards Maaneet.. and they took blessings from the elderly lady... She smiled and then ..Avi too took her blessings, following what his mama and papa were doing ... All smiled at his sweet gesture and Dadimaa blessed him as well...

Servants set their luggage in two rooms ...one for the couple and one for the kid ...But when Geet's eyes caught that .. she instantly instructed...

Geet:- kaka, place all the luggage in one room...

Mother:- Geet??? (Her mother looked at her confused...Giving her an stern look)

Geet:- Mama, Avi is so small ... He can't live in a separate room...(Geet's mother eyed her father)

Father:-But Beta, you both need privacy ...

Geet(got irritated):- Papa, Maan doesn't mind ...Avi sleeps with us...

Now that was the thing, came out as a blunder .. Maan glared her.. while her parents exchanged a worried look.. at each other and then the attention went on Maan... Oblivious to the situation, Avi was nibbling a chocolate given by her nanimaa... Geet looked at Avi and then at Maan... She has put Maan on the receiving end, without any fault of his ... and even knowing that, he was trying to give her a chance she did a damage to that single chance...Before Maan could make some excuse, Geet,herself tried to cover up the damage...

Geet:- Wo.. Avi gets scared in his room too..He often comes in our room, later in the night.. and this is new place for him.. He will definitely get scared .. so ...

Maan looked at her... at her lies ... He sighed but decided to not to say anything ...Her father was convinced ... and he didn't want to interfere in their personal matter...

Father:- oh... okhh...

But her mother was abt to retort back but Geet's father eyed her to not to say anything ...She eyed Maan curiously, she guessed Maan had to do something with that... But Maan tried to initiate any further convo... and she composed herself and smiled a bit...

Maan:- Uhh!! How are you now ??? Am sorry, couldn't come back again, to see you...

Mother:- Are no beta... It was just a minor attack... And we knew, you guys were dealing with the court case ... Its ok...Am perfectly fine...

Soon, Dinner was served and after that Maaneet were left to go to their room, along with Avi... as it was a long journey and they must be tired, thinking that her parents let them go early to bed...

Next day morning,

Geet got busy in catching up with her family, while Maan actually didn't have any work to do apart from sitting idly either in the hall or inside the four walls of the room... He got angry, the moment he didn't find his laptop...His Dad has tricked him and His laptop was removed from their luggage just at last moment .. and now Maan even wasn't going to get any other laptop from HP...He called His father..

Maan:- Dad...

Yash:- Hey Maan, you lot reached safely last night ???

Maan(sighed):- Yeah we reached ... But Dad what's this ???

Yash:- what ???

Maan:- where's my laptop???

Yash:- How would I know beta... ??? You are a married man now... Ask your WIFE... (He smirked saying that)

Maan:- Dad, don't play smart.. She will never ever touch my things ... She doesn't have those guts ... I... (Maan was cut)

Yash:-But I have...

Maan:- Dad, why did you...(Again was cut by Yash... But this time he was serious and no more smirking at all)

Yash:- Listen Maan... You are meant to spend some quality time with her..Alone... And I don't want any interruption there...

Maan(sighed in frustration):- Yeah right ... Alone ??? She is with her family and am here sitting in one of the rooms... Its like am hiding myself from her parents ...

Yash:- Hey !! Why are you hiding ??? You must go and sit with her family...

Maan(closed his eyes):- That... (sighed) Her mother...she is all ready to scrutinize me ... That day, she was ill and that's why I was saved ... But yesterday, she was like an imposing mother... She was like, invading our personal space...

Yash:- Maan, she is a mother after all.. She will be worried .. to know how her daughter is being treated in her in-laws and by her husband... It comes naturally...(he stopped and then added) Every mother isn't like yours Maan...

That hit the wrong side... and Maan was abt to cut the call in anger when he heard his Dad on the other side...

Yash:- Beta... This is the chance... You either are gonna be benefited or ... come home empty handed ... Choice is yours ... And knowing you, you wouldn't like to return back without anything ... So ... make a use of this trip and do the needful...

Maan was rendered at his father's words... Those words were direct from a worried and concerned father to his HURT son... And Maan couldn't deny him... He nodded ...

Maan:- Yes Dad...

Yash(smiled at his son's understanding):- Ok beta... take care and yes enjoy with the KIDS there...

He laughed at the end and cut the call... Maan looked at his phone and smiled a bit ... His Dad always manged to relax him from any anger and tension...He always stood by Maan's side... protecting him.. Guiding him.. at every wrong step he ever took for his life...

Maan(whispered):- Love you Dad...

Maan decided that now, he was here... He can catch up with important things on cell phone and Via checking his mails ... and Dev and His dad were there... He needed to be relaxed from his office worries and decided to concentrate on this trip...
