Maan:- That's coz , Dadimaa wanted me to make sure that His future is safe and secure.. (he let out a small mock laugh) She didn't trust me back then...(Geet looked at him in confusion..to which he explained)Like , I might change my mind and one day, kick him out of KM...she and dad wanted the surety ...So, I transferred funds on Avinash's name.. Haah !! My family... (He shook his head, telling her the truth behind the transfer of shares .. and concentrated on his food)

Geet(got excited hearing that and sat cuddled on bed):- wow!! That's so nice naa... (Maan looked at her confused) I mean, see.. that went in our favor in the court naa... Wow.. you got that point there and the scenario on the case was changed ... How sweet of you .. thank you ...

She was again lost talking abt Avi and her happiness regarding that..Maan had no other option, but to hear her out and have his meal... in silence...

Maan:- Am done .. Now, can you excuse me ... I wanna rest ..

Geet:- oh yes yes .. take your medicines and sleep...

Geet reached the door when she heard Maan's voice...

Maan:- Ahh!! Geet..How was your exam today??? (Geet stopped and turned her head to look at him in shock...and he realized what he did...Again...His tongue wasn't with his mind nowadays, in front of her...He felt bad that he was snapping at her and pushing her out of the room rudely and in order to start a convo. here he did it again)

Geet(ST):- Is He asking abt my papers ??? wow.. He never did that before...Hmm.. You are changing Mr Hubby Khurrana... and you are still unaware of that ...

Maan(ST):- Agghh... the words just slipped out form my mouth...why I even asked that ???

Geet:- It was good... Thanks ... Umm, thanks for asking ...(She smiled, looking at him, and then she wished him) Have a good sleep...

Maan didn't say anything else and lied on the bed ... Well, Geet was used to his weird behaviors now and so she didn't feel bad ... and silently went out, after closing the door behind her...

Later in the day...

Dev sat with Maan...discussing on some office matters, when again he raised his suspicions ...

Dev:- Bhai, I think you shouldn't take this accident lightly... It could be a planned one ...

Maan(sighed and shook his head):- Dev!! Not again... Its not good to think only negative points always ...

Dev:- But bhai, how can that be just a co-incidence??? I mean, look at the timing ... your car and that car just banged with each other..just like that ... It never happened before...

Maan(patted his shoulder):- Dev, now you think... If they try to harm me or worse, kill me... then they won't be able to get anything ... apart from Avinash... and sm sure, they want much more than just that kid... coz ... If am dead, the properties are gonna be sealed and business will be stopped .. for a while ..and then according to my will, the owners will only be my family... that's you and Dad... (after a pause) they surely don't wanna do that...

Dev:- Bhai, they just want double benefits ... and that's only possible... if they sideline you...I think you should think on that bro... plz...

Maan:- ok.. I will think on that ... Now lets discuss the meeting you are gonna handle tomorrow...

Dev:- yeah...

And they got busy in their works ... But Geet was shocked, she heard few of their talks ..

Geet(ST):- It can be possible that this accident was planned by payal??? I don't doubt on that.. But Maan also was not wrong .. why would she does anything of that sort,knowing that blame might come on them and that might weaken their case.. Though, I doubt they have any chance of winning ...

Shrugging off her weird complicated thoughts Geet got busy in studying her exams ... and its preps ...

After couple of days .. The Next hearing...

Geet and Maan entered the court premises...before the time and after a while Avi too came along with Payal... Geet smiled at him and Payal left Avi's hand in irritations ...and anger...

Maan looked at Geet's smile and looking at the way.. He smirked looking at frustration on PP's faces ...

Geet excused herself and went to greet Avi...after a few kisses on his cheeks, Geet looked at PP...

Geet:- Well, as we both are early.. so I would like to spend sometime with MY SON ALONE.. Hope you won't mind...Ahh!! Actually, I think you don't have any right to mind ...

Maan(reached there and called Geet out):- Geet... Go ...

He nudged her .. to not to create any fuss over there... and she left taking Avi happily with herself... While Maan turned and looked at Payal..

Maan:- you know... You shouldn't have done that(he meant abt the custody)... Anyways ... Lets face the case ... (He smirked and went from there with Amit.. and Dev... while PP fumed in anger)

Geet sat with Avi.. She didn't notice where they reached talking lots of things ... But this was the place from where the judge was passing, after a couple of mints and heard their cute and other talks of his interest ...

Avi:- where's my cupcake mama???(Geet pretended that she didn't buy any )Aap bhool gai?? (He sounded sad)

Geet:- Aise kese bhool sakti hoon main??? yeh lo.. (She passed him a shopper with a smile) you know.. Am gonna give you more more .. when you are back at home...and we will buy other stuffs.. like your new clothes .. video games and then lots of toys ...

Avi(kissed Geet's cheeks):- wow...Love you mama...you know.. that aunty doesn't give me anything to play with...Bas baat be baat dant'ti rehti hain... Mujhe wo bilkul nahi pasand..

Geet:- what ??? uski itni himmat...

Instantly she got angry on Payal and mentally told herself to talk and deal with her after today's hearing..

Avi:- Wo tou mujhe khana bhi nahi khilaten,jaise aap khilatey ho. kehti hain khud khao...ab tum bare hogae ho... aur... (He thought of something and said) Us din mujhe chot lagi aur khoon behne laga hath mein se, tou unhon ne patti nahi kii, jaise aap kartey ho.. par bohat danta, aur thapad bhi maarne wali thi par...

Geet(was getting more angry on Payal now):- par kya ??? bolo Avi ??? kya hua phir... (she was getting restless) Chupaao mat ...

Avi:- Par phir wo uncle aagae... unho ne aunty kaa haath rok dia... (Geet hugged Avi and consoled him as Avi started to shed tears,remembering the incident)

Geet:- koi nahi Avi.. Hum abhi usko court se saza dilwaengey...(She decided that she will tell this face of so called mother to the jugde) dikhao mujhe kahan chot lagi... ???

Saying that she started to search any wounds on Avi's palms and hands but there were none... Avi giggled ...

Avi:- Mama, wo chot tou kab ki thek hogai... (nevertheless Geet kissed his both hands and a few drops of tears escaped from her own eyes.. but she wiped them off soon,as she again heard Avi) aajkal tou wo bohat achey se baat karti hain... kehti hain , tum hamare saath raho hum tumhen ghomaane le jaengey... toys dengey and ache ache karprey bhi... par mujhe (he hugged Geet) aap ke saath rehna hai... Mujhe wahan bilkul accha nahi lagta... mama , jaldi se mujhe aap bulwalo naa apne pass...

Geet cried hugging and nodding at him...

Geet:- promise, main jaldi le ke jaongi aapko apne saath ghar... Aur haan dekho Avi(she made him look at her)agar dubara aisa kuch kare wo tou mujhe phone karna...thek hai??? He nodded and again was lost in his mother's arms ...

The judge, who has witnessed all the love and care of Geet and Avi.. and little a few words of Payal's truth ... was highly angry.. He could differentiate the two mothers ... and see both's real faces now ... He made a mental note to question Payal for that harsh behavior on the little kid ...and the reasons behind that ,,,
