I hate it.
I hate it when Park Jimin starts acting like that. As if...
As if...
I had escaped out of the apartment to avoid another conversation with Jimin only to be tackled by Taeseob, my personal assistant. He 'escorted' me to a van and took me to a small studio.
"Oh heavens, I thought you'd be late" My stylist Sunhee, a woman with short black hair and smokey eyes grabbed my arms and looked with disappointment at me.
"Here's your outfit for today, go change" she had already pulled out a black dress and placing it in my hands, pushed me into a trying room.
"But..."
"Shhh, no honey don't ask anything"
I changed into the dress and came out seething.
"Who's funeral is this for?" I asked.
"Mine, if I don't get you ready before he arrives" she motioned towards a chair in front of a giant mirror.
"Taehyung is really coming?" My face lit up and I seated myself without caring about how ugly the dress and the shoes were. It was all black with strips of off white. The shoes were black with block heels with G G written in gold and a little leather frill beneath that.
My hairdresser Monty, who had given me a haircut a couple of days before, started brushing my hair and dousing it in thick mist of a hair spray. He did a high ponytail for me which was so tight my eyes literally bulged out. At the same time Reese, worked on my face.
"Yes he is and he'll probably have our heads if we don't get you ready in time" she checked if my nails were in a proper condition.
"I was ready... you just made me change into this ugly dress"
"It's high end fashion, it's supposed to be ugly" she replied "Anyway, here's your bag. A pop of colour to brighten it up"
She placed a small bag in my lap. It was a combo of red, blue and green, with a useless satchel.
"I want sneakers. I can't walk properly in these"
"You're too demanding and no. You can't wear sneakers with this dress, it'd look crazy"
"Please no, my feet already hurt"
She looked into my eyes, smiled and the replied with a cold "no"
Sulkily, I walked out of there, pouting but my face lit up as soon as I saw a black car. Through the window I could see Taehyung's profile. He turned his head towards me and smiled too.
I ran the steps just as his chauffeur Kang opened the door for me and jumped inside. The truth was, I was scared and anxious and him being there meant the world to me.
"Hi Papi" I beamed "I missed you"
He brushed my hair with his hands, looking carefully at me.
"How are you?" He asked softly.
"Happy " I giggled.
"Let's get you to your med school, shall we?" He waved a hand at the chauffeur and we were off on our way.
"Look at these ugly clothes" I frowned as I crossed my arms across my chest and pouted.
"Look fine to me" he arched an eyebrow.
"You don't understand! I wanted sneakers!"
He chuckled and I was reminded how much I loved his voice.
"Is that what's bothering you?" He asked. Then he turned to the chauffeur "Stop at a shoes outlet"
"Which one?"
Taehyung turned to me.
"I... anyone" I told him.
The car continued and came to a stop in front of a huge store.
He linked his fingers with me as we got out. The employees had just started and when we entered, they panicked and started running around in all directions.
"I heard you were supposed to be in Moscow" I said as I looked up the shelves, hoping I would find something okay. I didn't want to drag him through the city looking for shoes when he was so tired and had already hired a stylist for me.
"I have a few hours before the meeting, but I had to come see you on your special day" he smiled.
"You could have had some rest..."
"Or," he circled his arms around my waist and put his head on my shoulder as he back hugged me "I could kiss you?"
"Not here!" I hissed.
"Then you better select quickly, so I can take you back to the car, and have my way with you" he whispered into my ear and pulled away.
My cheeks lit up as I grabbed a shoe and tried to slip it on. Taehyung tsked and took my bag, about to help me put it on but I turned away.
"My toes are weird I don't want you to look"I said and he chuckled, backing away.
The truth was, I didn't know if I wanted him to go down on a knee for me like that. He just looked too... Royal for that and I didn't consider myself a princess worthy of that. Hurts to admit, but I was insecure.
So a female employee quickly rushed to help me and God did I feel embarrassed to death under everyone's attention.
Moments later I was walking out of the store behind Taehyung with my head hanging low, wearing the converse highs.
"So," he said as soon as we got back in the car, his eyes twinkling with mischief.
"He's watching," I motioned at Kang.
"He knows what to watch and what not," leaning further in, he took my lips in a passionate kiss. I stayed still, in shock, still processing how amazing his touch felt. His hand slipped beneath my dress and I gasped as his finger tips brushed against me. As if waiting for me to part my lips, his tongue delved inside.
He tasted so good.
Like waves hitting the shores, he kept kissing me while his hand rested just there, so close. My whole body was feverish as his lips traveled down the side of my jaw, placing soft moist kisses until he reached my sweet spot. I could feel him smile as his lips stayed just above my skin, not touching but teasing.
"Tae..." I almost whimpered, hoping he'd kiss me more.
He placed his lips right there on my sweet spot and sucked rather too harshly.
"That's so cliche of you" I pushed him away, smiling at how childish his mind worked sometimes.
"What?" He smiled too, biting his lips.
"You wanting everyone to see these hickeys so they'll know I have a man" I rolled my eyes and he chuckled.
"Yes, that is correct"
"I'll be getting off then" I saw the beautiful campus of the med school approach and kissed him on the cheek. "When will I see you again?"
"Soon," he replied, pecking my lips "Now go conquer the world" he beamed.
"I love you" I hugged him tight. If I ever made a list of my most favourite things to do, hugging him would be on the top. "You're my favourite"
"And you're mine"
A/N:
A 2% straight update advocated for #blm and with pain I speak again; every life on the planet is sacred. It's sad and disturbing that innocent people are being killed and evicted from their homes in Palestine.
Imagine someone just showing up on your door one day and telling you to leave just like that or worse, bombing down your place.
I am disgusted by the fact that I live in a world where genocide is still happening and the nations not affected by it watch silently.
We all bleed red.
Every human life is precious.
