I felt so down and upset. He only wanted to help, but I pushed him away.

I finally got my food after queuing in the line for a few minutes.

Everything was okay for a while because I managed to sneak past Camila and her friends.

I pushed open the canteen door using my back and was suddenly surprised by my brother again.

“Brooklyn where are you going?”

“Mind your business Clyde” I responded bluntly.

Carefully carrying my tray I walked past him and out of the canteen. Clyde grabbed my hand once again, pulling me back.

Without thinking I grabbed my soda in defence and poured it's content all over him.

It felt like time stopped for a little while. Clyde's friends stared at me mouth opened.

“I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to” I whispered my voice cracking. I turned around and walked away with my food, so they couldn't see me crying.

All I wanted to do right now was go home and cry myself to sleep. After making sure no one was around, I went into the bathroom and closed the stall.

This was the only way I could avoid Camila, by waiting in the bathroom till lunch was over and eating my food there too.
