The alpha knows the importance of the first few days. He's also highly aware of omega's and their nature.

Hence, why he is taking him with him. He reckons that by keeping him to his side, his wolf will become unseparable with his. Along with that, he hopes Taehyung will become fond of him the way he already is becoming when it comes to him.

He doesn't miss the way Taehyung stares outside, or tries to hide his emotions. It saddens him. Doesn't the omega feel the bond? Doesn't he wish to spend time with him aswell? 

But remembering the way he chose the spare room over his presence and the way he acts around him, he answered his own questions.

"You ready?" He asks, glancing at the omega.

Taehyung looks up, but never directly meets his gaze. "Do you wish to go hunting now?"

The alpha hums, "I either hunt in the early mornings or late at night. Most wildlife is active during those hours, so it's less likely to come back empty handed."

The omega nods, standing up along with the dominant and following him to the door.

"Let's shift." JK says as soon as they're outside. Taehyung hesitates, walking over to the nearest bush to give himself some privacy.

When he reappears, his small blonde wolf jogs towards the other. Before the alpha shifts, he squats down in front of him and takes a hold of his snout gently, raising his head up so their eyes would lock.

He whimpers at the intensity the red eyes stare down at him with.

"You're beautiful, omega."

Taehyung has to try the best he could muster to keep himself steady on all four paws at the compliment that made his wolf almost faint. He's flustered himself, not knowing how to act.

What the f─

The other releases him and steps back, grabbing onto his shirt and pulling it over his head.

Taehyung finds himself somewhat lucky since wolves are unable to blush.

He averts his eyes to the distance instead, feeling excited that he's able to go on a run since his wolf longs for it.

Suddenly a giant black wolf appears in front of his eyes, blocking his vision. He watches as the other nudges his head, signing him to follow suit.

And so he does. He has to trot quickly in order to keep up with his big steps, feeling embarrassed knowing the alpha was already purposely going slow, yet still too fast.

He gazes around him, taking in the enchanting woods he has never stepped foot into before. Where are they? How far are they from his pack? Now that he thinks about it, which way is his pack, even?

The alpha suddenly bites his ear playfully, shaking him out of his thoughts.

He stands flabbergasted at the sight of him pressing his head to his front paws that are flat on the ground, his behind in the air and tail slowly going from side to side.

Taehyung tilts his head slightly, ears peaked up. He himself is confused, but it seems like his wolf isn't.

He lunges forward ─now he's pissed at his wolf─ and goes along with it by gently biting the dominant's ear, using his weight to topple him over.

Never has he ever seen a dominant being this playful with their submissive. It leaves him wondering why this alpha is so different from them.

His wolf starts to wag his tail in excitement when the alpha starts to roll them over, which keeps going for a while. Paws were everywhere, along with playful growls and bites.

He didn't even notice they found themselves in high grass, until the alpha suddenly stopped, starting to sniff around.

Taehyung almost flinches when the other crouches down, at the sight of something ahead of them.

He holds his ground while the alpha took a few steps ahead, trying to hide himself in the grass.

The omega didn't have to try. He couldn't even see anything. So, he curiously gathers his strength in all four legs, jumping up in the air.

He has never been hunting before. In his pack, submissives are required to stay at home. But he certainly has been curious.

So, curiosity takes a hold of him and he jumps again, following the alpha as he went. At this point, he acted more like the deer ahead of them than the animal itself does.

The alpha looks back when the deer looks up, alarmed. His alpha and he himself were left swooning over the omega at the sight of him in the air, then disappearing back in the grass for a second until reappearing again and so on, in order to be able to see.

He takes a few steps back, nudging the other and crouching down more, so he would mimick his moves.

Luckily, Taehyung did, understanding that he wasn't doing such a good job at trying to not stand out.

They reached the end of the high grass, the deer a few metres in front of them continued to munch on some twigs. Their wolf's heads peeked out, staring at it.

The alpha again nudges Taehyung softly, wanting him to stay put.

Taehyung, however, took the message a little differently thinking the other wanted him to try and catch it, disregarding his nature.

But since he's so curious, he definitely didn't mind. In fact, at the soft nudge, he took a few seconds to prepare himself before lunging forward, leaving the alpha stunned. That is definitely the complete opposite of what he wanted to happen.

He opens his jaws to bite onto one of the deer's legs, trying to pull him towards himself. Obviously, he wasn't that strong and the deer kicked backwards and landed its hoof right on his chest. He squeaks in pain, but doesn't give up.

Running after it, he keeps his eyes locked on his prey and takes a small detour, using a slight hill to be able to jump right on top of it.

He bites down on its neck, slowing it down. Sliding half-off, the deer struggles until it was on the ground, taking its last breath.

Taehyung triumphs, sitting down next to it whilst panting heavily.

The alpha then stood right in front of him, staring wide-eyed at the scene displayed before him.

He shifted back, Taehyung following suit as the other instructed him to.

"Look! I did it! I caught it!" Taehyung beams, pointing. He forgets about everything else, just for a moment.

The alpha debated on whether to instruct him on that it is his job to hunt and provide, or to praise him.

But seeing the light in the omega's eyes and considering their nature, he smirks at his own plan.

He comes a little closer, pulling the deer towards himself and then looking back at the other.

"Look at you, my little hunter,"

Taehyung goes beet red, freezing in place at the pure fondness in the alpha's voice. His wolf went quiet, now he fears it actually fainted.

A whimper exits his throat. He's afraid he's going to produce other sounds he's able to make since he's an omega, if the alpha doesn't stop pr─

"Such a good omega for me, making alpha so proud of you." He continues, causing Taehyung's thoughts to become reality.

He attempts to cough, trying to hide his now purring wolf. But to avail, it was too loud not to notice. He goes even redder, heart palpitating in his chest.

"Couldn't have wished for a better omega, pup. You're so adorable."

The alpha smirks, seeing Taehyung struggle right before him. He's blushing crimson as heavily as the deer bleeds.

Once his ears picked up on the sound of the omega purring, his breath hitched in his throat.

He didn't know he could have such an effect on him, but now that he does, he's dead certainly going to use it to his advantage.

Omega's can do that?

His wolf jumps around within him, desiring to hold the male close.

"C'mon now, let's bring your kill home."
