The rest of the pack lead the officer out while Channing did what Sumire wanted and went to get the commissioner on the phone to arrange an appointment for his Lady to meet with him.

Back in the empty parlour Elijah had brought in some tea and a bake well tart for Sumire but even this didn't calm her down. "Who in the hell did that woman think she was taking too?

Now Lio will be staying at BUR for the time being while I watch over the house and look after the children along with the staff and I also have to go to the hospital to see if Lyall is o.k."

Elijah left the room leaving instructions that the Lady of the house was not to be disturbed at any cost while she calmed down. It was the first time since Sumire and Biffy were married that both Alpha's were angry at the same time, it was going to be a long night for the pack as well as the household.

Luna and Unmei entertained themselves in the back parlour while being watched over by Beatrice, who was knitting a scarf for some reason, this made both girls wonder why she was doing that.

"Um... why are you doing that?" they both asked making the maid look at them and then at the scarf, "I like to knit, it's a hobby of mine. You like to play with your dolls, right?" she asked the girls and they both nodded and carried on until it was time for bed.

Before she went to bed Sumire was met by the commissioner "Lady Rabiffano what can I do for you?" he asked as he walked in, looking at everyone that was there.

"Well my good sir, please sit down first and I'll explain why I have called you here so late at night, for you I mean" explained Sumire as she sipped her tea.

As he sat, she put her cup down and pulled out some paper with everything that the PC had said and done when she was there. "My good sir, I have called you here tonight about a certain police officer..." she didn't continue because he said "Janice Stevens; am I right?"

Sumire nodded to this and he sighed, "We've had many complaints about her lately. As you might of noticed she is new to here, she comes from America as she was fired there and came here to start a new life.

Not many people know about werewolves here, I only know because I grew up with them as my father and grandfather were great friends with some of their kind and so I know, sadly she doesn't and I am sorry about that.

She knows nothing of werewolves or vampires, I assure you of that my Lady; not many live over there because they prefer to live in packs and not roam alone, they are pack animals anyway".

"You are well informed my good sir" said a voice that Sumire knew all too well. "Lio why don't you join us?" said Sumire to her husband which after much consideration he finally sat down.

"My dear I am sorry about all that earlier I truly am. That officer so utterly annoyed me I had to leave otherwise..." he didn't finish because he knew, she knew what he meant.

"My Lord, PC Stevens is new here as I have explained myself to the Lady of the house and I will inform her of this meeting and how she has treated you and your family as well as Lord Akeldama".

"A verbal and written apology would do us just perfectly" said Sumire to them, "as I said to her I am a Lady both born and marriage and I want to be treated like one so that will have to do".

"Very well my Lady I'll inform her of this right away, it will be with you by tomorrow evening at the latest and with that I'll excuse myself for this evening. Good night my Lord and Lady" and with that he left.

"I see you have handled that very well my love" said Biffy once the commissioner had left, "I have been told that I have a temper just like Alexia Maccon and I've also been told that I can handle myself just the same.

Enough of that now let's get to bed after what has happened tonight I am tired" said Sumire to her husband, even though it was early evening they headed to bed leaving Channing to carry on with the rest of the BUR work load that Biffy had left due to his outrage earlier that night.

The following evening everything was back to normal, everyone was calm and collected, "Channing I'm sorry but I'm going to leave tonight's work to you; me and the family are going to see Lyall and then the professor as I think he might know something about this PC Stevens" said Biffy to him and Channing just nodded.

Biffy took his family to the hospital right after breakfast and arrived just after their dinner, at first they weren't allowed on the ward but when the doctor who was treating Lyall saw them he let them through.

"My Lord and family welcome, I was going to call you, his fever is going down but we do have to discuss this routine of his, he's sleeping throughout the day and is up all night can I asked why that is?" asked the doctor to them once they got to the room where Lyall was staying.

"MAMA! PAPA!" cried Lyall once they saw them with the doctor, "LYA!" cried his sisters only to get a glare from him "don't call me that" he said making his sisters laugh at him.

"Now girls leave your brother alone, you know he hates being called that, you both hate being called Lu and Mei right?" asked their father to them and they both said "yes" and then they apologised to him.

"Doctor Moses thank you again for looking after Lyall" said Sumire to the doctor, "you're welcome my Lady, but please can you tell me why your son has this strange sleeping patterns?" said the doctor.

"My good sir do you know anything about vampires or werewolves?" asked Biffy to him and the doctor just shook his head and Biffy and Sumire said no more on that matter.

"Don't worry doctor, us as a family have sleeping patterns like that because we both work at night our children have been brought up like that, so then they get to see us before we go out to work" said Sumire to the good doctor.

"When can Lyall come home?" asked Unmei to the doctor and he in turn bent down and looked her in the eyes and said "perhaps tomorrow evening if not the day after that. Why do you ask?" only to have Unmei respond with "we want his home for our birthday!"

"Oh yes, I remember their birthday is in four days. I remember the day they were born, what a hot day it was. It was also when you let me be your family doctor" said the doctor remembering.

"Lyall honey, we have to go now, we have to see the professor before he leaves tonight about something important" said his father and he just said "o.k. I'll get better and then I can come home for my birthday".

"That's my boy" said Biffy ruffling his son's straight honey brown hair making it go frizzy quite easily and at the same time making him giggle with delight and with that the family left.

They headed over to a near-by hotel and went right to the front desk and asked for Randolph Lyall and he just turned and saw him sitting in the lounge waiting for them.

"Lyall thank you for meeting us" said Biffy to him making Luna say "he's not Lyall, Lyall's in hospital" and tears rolled down her cheeks making Unmei hug her tightly.

"Just call me Randolph please, I don't want them getting confused over which Lyall is which" said the professor to the parents.

Both Sumire and Biffy picked up one girl and hugged them tightly, "o.k. Randolph what can you tell us about a police officer called Janice Stevens" said Sumire to him bluntly even for her.

"Well my Lady I can tell you that before coming here she was in Scotland and before that America, we knew her in Scotland as Amelia Phillipa Roland. In Scotland she made the Kingair pack turn against each other for about two years, making them believe that someone in the pack had betrayed them. That someone was out killing people without a cause, this in fact turned out not to be true.

From what information I had discovered back then is that she is out to wipe out us werewolves or even the whole supernatural world but I just can't find any more on that, no matter how far I go back I'm always blocked" and he rubbed his head.

"What do you mean blocked?" asked Biffy sipping his tea and keeping an eye on his girls as they played. "Well... do you mind if I still called you Biffy?" he asked and Biffy just nodded meaning 'yes' and 'carry on'.

"Well I've looked at all of her paper work and it all seems to be intact but when I want to look further back, I get nothing. Janice Stevens doesn't exist outside of Scotland or England..."

"In other words that's not her real name, is it?" said Sumire and Biffy together, "that's right but I do know where she used to live so I'll tell you more once I have found out anything. I'll send it to you as I'm now heading back to Scotland tonight" said the professor.

"Will you be running? And would you like some company?" asked Biffy to him, "Biffy I'll be running and sadly I wouldn't like the company, what we had in the past we couldn't live in the present" said the professor.

"Oh for goodness sake Sandalio just go with him, I know you have something important to talk to him about but could this wait until after the children's birthday and you're invited Randolph as well" said Sumire using both of their full names.

"You're welcome to stay with us for the time being, another four days and then we'll leave, if you can handle staying with the London pack" said Biffy and the professor just sighed and in the end he nodded, "thank you".

"Why does he call papa Biffy?" asked Luna out of the blue making her father jump at the question. "Well it was a nick name I was given by Lord Akeldama many years ago and it has stuck" said her father "but you're not allowed to call me that o.k." and so all of them started to leave as it was now becoming light.
