Ember's POV

   I could hear howls and growling from outside the room. I knew that it was now time for me to join whatever fight was out there. I had learned to use a small bit of my fire powers and it was just enough to get me out.

   As the noises got louder I knew  it was my friends. They had come for me. I opened my mouth and grabbed onto the cage bar. Soon the bar heated up until I could bend it and free myself. I slipped threw the small opening and ran to the door.

   Once I got threw it I was greeted to my brother laying on the ground while two dogs circled him. They growled and bit at his pelt. They seemed to be simply playing with him. The grins across their faces said they where having fun messing with him before they kill him.

   Without anymore thoughts I jumped onto one of the wolves and bit down into its pelt. It howled and began jumping around trying to shake me off as blood soaked our fur. I used the fire power to burn him before letting go. The dog ran away out of fear with its tail in between its legs.

   I then looked to Thorn to see him fighting off the other dog along with Midnight. Once they had taken it down they ran over to me.

   Thorn had tears in his eyes and seemed overjoyed to see me and Midnight just gave me a friendly smile. "Ember your ok!" Thorn cried out as he embraced me. "Thorn, Ember." We looked to Midnight, her smile turned into a serious look. "We have to get out and fast. More enemies will be on the way soon and we can't fight much more." I looked at them noticing they where badly hurt. "Lets go." Thorn agreed. I nodded and we fled.

   I followed them down lofts of stairs and threw dark halls to soon get to a broken window. We jumped threw it and ran to the forest. Midnight gave a call and I soon saw Core and Ice come running into the woods fleeing a black cat and wolf. Ice was limping and slowly falling behind, but they luckily made it to the woods in time.

   We then ran to meet them at what I assume was a planed meeting spot.

   I was free. I thought.

   "You'll never be free.... from my shadows."  A voice whispered.
