*Kikumi's POV*

I shake in my cage that the spiders put me in.

'Why are they so mean?' I asked, in my mind.

"I can't wait to feed you to a bear." Papa said, poking a finger in my cage.

I just whimpered in my cage, afraid to look out. I closed my eyes, hoping that this would go by faster, and must have fallen asleep.

After i woke up a bit, the door to the cage opened and I slowly crawled out, in my human form. Papa made me transform into my human form on the plane.

"This is going to be good." Papa cheered.

"So, we're going to drop you off near a chimera ant den and you are going to be eaten by them." Franklin explained, with a heavy heart.

"No, please, don't!" I cried out.

"Quiet, runt!" Papa said, giving a kick to my ribs.

I cried out in pain and papa smiled at my suffering.

"When you whimper on the floor, begging for someone to save you, all the hope leaving you eyes, that really makes me lustful. " Papa said, with a bad sadistic look in his eyes.

I backed away in fear. I got up and started running, but Papa was right behind me. He was about to lunge at me when he stopped.

My fox ears atop my head perked up when I heard Franklin's phone ring from far away.

"Hello?" He asked.

He listened to the other person at the end of the line.

"We're coming right back now." Franklin said, all serious, after a while.

Franklin slamed his phone shut and groaned in frustration.

"Come on, Jento. We have to go back. The Chain User and Fire Summoner are attacking the base." Franklin said, sighing.

"God f**king d***it. I was about to torture her. It was going to be awesome!" My papa said, sadisticly.

Papa turned to me and pulled out a belt. My tail bristled up in fear and my ears curled up as tight as they could. I closed my eyes and expected a beating or something.

Papa smacked my head and, before he left, he said.

"Have a nice sleep, runty Ant meat." Papa said.

"H-help me." I called to Franky, my voice cracking.

I saw Franklin look at me, sympathetically, before walking away.

The last thing I heard before I blacked out was

"Awe yea, some action. Finally!" My Papa said, running off.

*Gon's POV*

'Its all my fault. Kikumi's gone because I didn't protect her. Mito will be so upset. I'm upset.' I thought, sitting on the bed, lost in my thoughts.

I vaguely recall the fact that Killua is calling someone, I just don't know who.

"-on Gon Gon!!" Killua shouted.

"Huh?" I snapped out of my depressing thought for a moment.

"Are you ok?" He asked, tentatively.

"Not really." I said, shrugging.

Then, Killua did the unexpected. He hugged me.

I gave a small hug back and he seemed to sigh in relief. He looked up at me with those saphire blue eyes.

"Its ok, Gon. We'll get her back. We'll find her." Killua said, looking me in the eyes, giving me strength and comfort.

"Your right, we can do this. Kikumi, we're coming to save you. Just hold on." I said, jumping up.

I saw Killua smile at me.

*Killua's POV*

'Poor Gon. He must be so worried. But, why is their pain in my heart as well?' I thought, pulling out my phone and calling Kurapika.

"Killua?" Gon asked me, sadly.

"Hmm." I responded, kinda busy.

"Hello?" I heard Kurapika say. I put him on speaker phone.

"We have a major problem." I said, as I looked at Gon sitting there, looking at his legs.

"What's wrong?" Kurapika ask.

"Kikumi has been stolen by the spiders." I said, anger seeping from me.

He put the phone on speaker and the line went quiet for a couple of minutes.

"That MOTHER TRUCKER!! I'm gonna burn a BUSH!!!! Kurapika, pack a bag!!! We're going to FLIPPING York New right NOW!! I don't care about our job, just pack a DARNED BAG!!!" Mikasa screamed into the phone, before her pounding footsteps marched away.

"Where are you guys, currently?" Kurapika asked, eerily calm.

"In the Sleepy Willow Inn." Killua said to him.

"We'll be there in a couple of hours."

Then the line went dead.

And Gon, he was just sitting there, no emotion in his eyes, no fiery spirit. He looked so empty.

I felt a tear in my eye, but I suppressed it.

The pain in my heart twinged. I surprised myself by giving Gon a hug. Gon gave a small hug back, and I sighed in relief. The pain seemed to subdue for now.

"Gon, are you ok?" I asked, concerned.

'Why am I concerned?' A dark part of me asked.

'Because Gon is my friend.' The small, light part in me responded.

I looked into his chocolatey eyes and said.

"Its ok, Gon. We'll get her back. We'll find her." I said, trying to cheer him up.

'Never have I seen Gon so upset. Its a little unsettling. I'll make sure it never happens again. ' I thought, determined.

'Kikumi, I promise we'll get you back." I promised.

*Kikumi's POV*

When I awoke, I heard the crinkle of leaves below me.

I bolted out of the makeshift leaf bed and looked around.

There was muddy walls and lots of tunnels.

"Where am I?" I asked, scared.

"Your in an ant nest, my dear." A voice said.

"Oh, well thank you for your hospitality." I said, nicely. I looked around to see a giant insect, which almost made me faint.

"What are you, Human or Ant?" The big Ant asked.

'I have to lie. I'm sorry sissies. I know I promised not to, but I might die if I don't.

"I'm an Ant, but there were these scientist...Where are the scientist now?! Their going to hurt me!" I cried out, making tears come to my eyes.

The queen looked angry off into the cave.

"Shh, my child. Your safe here. I will make sure no one touches you. Please, continue your story." The big Ant, who I think is the queen, said.

"Well, I am an Ant, but these scientist took me and experimented on me. I was tortured." I said, real tears falling down my face, as I remembered how my Papa tortured me.

"They would inject me with this strange stuff that made me turn into a fox human hybrid. Made me smell like one." I said, and the queen looked sadly at me.

"Well, you can stay here as long as you like, my dear. I'm the queen Ant, but you can call me mom. From this day forward, you are the new Ant Princess, due to marry and reproduce with the king." The queen Ant announced, and I turned around to see a bunch of Ants, staring at me.

One by one, the ants fall to their knees and bow to me.
