*Killua's POV*

"What do you mean you can't come?!?" I yelled at the phone.

"We just can't. We have to intercept a transaction from the spiders. We must stay here." Kurapika said, calmly over the phone.

"That's not ok. I have a very emotionally unstable Gon. What am I going to do?" I angry whispered into the phone, hoping Gon wouldn't hear me.

I looked over at Gon, still curled up on the bed.

'He hasn't moved since Kikumi was taken except to eat and train his Nen. This is really taking a toll on him. Its taken a toll on me too. I can't seem to stop losing my cool and my Nen is going out of control.' I thought, electricity shooting off of me.

"Killua, calm." Gon said, looking up at me. I nooded and he hung his head back in his lap.

"Look, Killua. We can't come. The best we can do is track her dog tag. Do something to cheer him up, and I'll give you her location." Kurapika said, before hanging up quickly.

'Well, that was wierd.' I thought.

"Gon." I said, and he slowly lifted his head up.

"Have you found Kikumi?" He asked, pitifully.

"Kurapika is tracking her as we speak." I said, reassuring him.

He gave a small smile and sat up. He walked over to the wall.

"Gon, what are you doing?" I asked, confused.

His eyes turned dark as he punched a giant hole in the wall.

"I will make whoever took Kikumi suffer." He said, in his dark voice.

"Don't worry Gon, I will help you." I said, my eyes covered over by my white bangs and electricity shooting off me ominously.

Suddenly, my phone went off. I quickly reached for it and read what it said, before my electricity went out of control again.

'NGL.' Was all it read.

"Gon, I have something." I said, and Gon was over here in a second.

"NGL? What's that?" Gon asked me.

"I don't know, I'll look it up." I said, hopping on the computer.

I searched up NGL and got this small island.

"Kikumi's there?!" Gon asked, shocked.

"I guess so." I replied back.

Gon grabbed my hand and he ran out of the building to the nearest airport.

"Gon!" I shouted at him for dragging me.

He let go and looked back at me sheepishly.

"Sorry." He said, running at top speed.

I ran in pace with him until the airport came into sight.

"Two tickets to NGL." I said, laying down a bundle of cash into the counter.

The man nodded, not even looking up from his computer.

"Thanks." Gon said, happily, gaining his happiness once more.

'Kikumi, I hope your ok. I never got to tell you about how I love you.....' I started thinking, until Gon interrupted me.

"Let's go, Killua. We need to save Kikumi." Gon cried out, dragging me to the loading zone.

"Ok, Gon." I said, letting Gon usher me onto the blimp.

Gon sat me down and he impatiently waited for the blimp to take off. I gave a small chuckle at his egarness.

"Gon, I'm sure she's fine." I said, holding down his jittering knee.

"What if she's malled by bears, or tortured and brainwashed by the locals?!? After all, she is a child. She's like my sister. I can't stand not knowing if she's safe and I feel guilty, the last thing we told her is we have to go and that she wouldn't understand. What kinda friends are we? What kinda family are we?" Gon said, almost breaking down into tears.

"Gon, no, its ok. Stop crying everywhere." I said, covering my face.

"Killua, were bad friends." Gon said, looking at me, with some tears in his eyes.

"We'll get her back. I promise. She's my sister too, don't you forget." I said, letting my hand come to his face in a handshake.

"Promise?" Gon asked, wiping the tears away.

"Promise." I said, smiling down at him.

He grabbed my hand and we shook on it.

We would get her back, no matter what.

"Sorry for the sudden tears, Killua. I guess I'm not the same without Kikumi around." Gon apologized, sheepishly.

"Same here, buddy. I'm not the same either." I said, staring out the window, a spark of electricity shot out of my hand.

'I love her like my other little sister.' I thought, finishing my thought.

*time skip*

We stepped off the blimp and started our journey to the forests of NGL. Gon had a look of determination in his eyes that could give anybody the chills.

"Killua, we need some horses." Gon said, sounding happy, but I knew better.

We looked around until I found some horses being held by some ranchers.

"Hey, we need those. Can we use them?" Gon asked, and I stood behind him.

"No, we need these for later. Things are getting bad here. Humans and animals just disappear out of thin air." The male rancher said.

"Have you seen a girl with orange hair?" Gon asked, excited.

"Can't say that I have." The female rancher said.

"But, we can take you along in our truck. We just gotta ask the boss first." The male said, running back to the end of the truck.

Then this man with long white hair and a small cap came out of the end of the car, walking silently up to us. His arms were long and lanky and he had an air to him that felt strong.

"So, you wanna come along, huh?" The white haired man asked, glaring down at the two boys.

"Yes, sir." Gon said, and I stayed quiet.

"That all depends, can you use Nen?" The white haired man asked.

"Yea, can you?" I questioned back, making electricity shoot from my body on accident.

"Very well, my names Wing. Come with me if you wish, but be warned. It won't be easy. My comrades will explain it on the ride there." Wing said, looking me and Gon in the eye.

Gon nodded with determination and I hopped onto the truck.

"Welcome aboard." Another guy, who looked like a pirate, said.

"Well, let's go." Wing said, and the truck started to life.

Wing hopped inside the truck as it was moving away and sat in a seat across from us.

"What's going on here, Wing?" Gon asked.

"Well, there are these things called Chimera Ants. The queen eats certain things and the subjects have attributes of the animals the queen has eaten. The queen then makes a king from the nutrients found in the food. The king will then lead the rest of the colony and find a new queen to mate with. Somehow, the queen has eaten a human and now likes the taste of humans. The subjects are kidnapping humans and taking them to the queen to be eaten. We are going to blow up the nest and kill all of those gosddamm ants." Wing explained, making smoke come out of Gon's ears.

I sighed in understanding. However, Gon did not realize what that meant.

"Are you up for the challenge of killing all of these ants?" Wing asked, giving up on explaining it to Gon.

"Yea, as long as we get our Kikumi back." Gon said, making wing look at him, as Gon popped his knuckles.

Electricity sparked from me and I nodded my head.

"Kikumi, we're coming to save you." I whispered, but Gon heard me and he looked at me.

"We sure are, so just hang in there." Gon whispered in response.

I swear I could hear a small cheer from somewhere, and it sounded like Kikumi.
