*Kikumi's POV*

After the tea, I couldn't help but yawn.

"Someone's sleepy." Leo said, noticing my yawn.

"And she's not the only one." Mikasa commented, pointing to Kurapika.

Kurapika has fallen asleep with his head on the table.

Gon and Leo started to laugh and a giggle escaped me.

"Um, can I be excused to go to my room?" I asked.

"Sure. Your room is the first one on the left. You'll be sharing it with Mikasa." Zebro told me.

"Ok, goodnight." I said as I walked into my room.

But he came with me and opened the door for me.

"Thank you." I told him.

"Its my pleasure. Plus, you couldn't open this door on your own. It's 75 pounds." He finished.

'Wow, I'm kinda glad he came along.' I thought.

The door closed behind me with a loud slam, startling me and making me jump.
I changed into my pyjamas. My pyjamas was a light orange top, with fluffy dark orange shorts. I crawled onto my bed, not wanting to sleep. But I couldn't get into the covers. The covers were too heavy.

'Why are the covers so heavy?! Oh, well. Its ok, I wanted to sleep outside tonight anyway.'

I wrote Mikasa a note, letting her know where I was going. Then, transforming into my fox self, I climbed out the open window.

I treaded to the trees bordering the gate. I started to climb, my side hurting the whole way up.

Once I was at the top, I jumped and landed on one of the lowest branches of a tree. I looked up to be face to face with a giant muzzle.

"Who goes there!?" He booms.

"M-my names K-kikimi Jude." I answer, shakily.

"Baby Kiki!?" He asked, shocked.

I glanced at him as I though. 'His black eyes and his purple coat. His hand like claws and his blue tounge. Wait, blue tounge?'

"Mikey!?" I asked, shocked.

"Kiki!!" Mike barked.

I leaped at him and curled up next to his fur.

(A/N Their speaking to each other through dog, their native tounge. (When Kikumi's in her fox form, that is.))

"How have you been, Kiki?" Mikey asked.

"Um....ok." I replied, hesitantly

"What does that mean?" He questioned.

"My sisters, they um....." I started.

"What happened to your sisters?" He questioned again, getting worried.

"The Beast Hunter........he.....killed them." I said, choking back sobs.

"I've heard about your parents, but your sisters too?" He asked, looking really sad.

"Yes, all of them." I said, the tears coming down my face.

"I'm sorry for your loss." He said, mournfully.

He used his hand like claw to wipe away the tears.

"Thanks." I said, the tears stopping.

I look at him and ask. "You know, Mikey, I've been crying alot lately. Is that bad?"

"Not at all. Your still grieving. Losing your whole family at age 10. A normal person would still be crying."

"So, how have you been?" I asked Mikey.

"I've been so bored, guarding this castle. The Zoldyck's never feed me enough, either." Mikey said, explaining his situation.

"Well, let's do something together. After all, we are family friends." I told him.

"Oh, we could stargaze." I suggested.

"Ok, sounds fun." Mikey said.

I snuggled up close to Mikey and we both looked at the twinkling stars. The lit up the night sky as I started to feel sleepy.

"Their so pretty." I exclaimed.

"That they are." Mikey agrees.

Soon, I fell asleep, sleeping next to Mikey, my family's friend. My friend.

*Mikasa's POV*

I glanced up at the clock as we (Leo, Zepto, and I) played Checkers.

1:22 AM

"Wow, its late. I'm going to hit the hay. Goodnight, you guys." I told them.

"Night." Leo said, not looking at me.

"Have a nice night." Zebro told me.

"Thanks." I told them.

Kurapika sleeping on the couch, looking so uncomfortable. I picked him up and carried him to his room. I easly kicked down the door.

'Was this supost to be heavy? Huh.'

I put Kurapika in the bed and pulled up the covers.

"Sweet dreams, Kurapika." I told him, even though he couldn't hear me.

I gave him a kiss on the forehead and I walked out of his room. My room was acrost the hall. I opened my door slowly, as to not wake up Kikumi. When I entered, I saw no Kikumi, in fox or human form.

"Kikumi!?" I shouted.

I looked on the desk to find a note. It said

Dear Mikasa,

Don't worry about me. I'm going to sleep in the woods tonight. I like to do so sometimes, so this is normal. I will be back tomorrow morning.

'Well, at least I know where she is. I don't really want to sleep alone. I wonder if I can sleep in Kurapika's room?' I thought.

I walked out of my room and into his. His light was on and he was awake, rubbing his eyes.

"Oh, hi Mikasa. How did I end up in here?" He asked, confused.

"I moved you into here. You looked uncomfortable on the couch." I told him.

"Is that so? Thank you." He replied.

"Your welcome." I said, with a smile.

"Is their something you need?" He asked.

"Yea, well...I kinda wanted to.....sleep in here. Kikumi wanted to sleep in the woods tonight, so I'm all alone in my room and its quite big and...." I trailed off.

He looked at me shocked, but gave me kind smile.

"Sure, I would love some company as I read. Would you like me to read to you?" He answered.

I snuggled up close to him, having a small amount of blush on my face. He began to read and I thought.

'His voice is calming when he's reading.'

I looked up at him and leaned closer.

And closer.

And closer.

Until our faces were mere inches apart.

"What are you doing, Mikasa?" He asked, nervously.

I bit the bottom of my lip and looked at his quickly.

I looked up at his eyes to see he didn't get the message. I sighed and said.

"Can I...give you....a....kiss?" I said, with alot of hesitation.

He looked at me, smiled, then leaned in until our lips touched.

Then, we kissed.

I was like an electric current went through my body, shocking me. It felt amazing. It was very passionate and firey, but soft at the same time.

For what seemed like hours, but was only minutes, Kurapika pulled away and gave me a huge smile I didn't know was possible.

"That was amazing. And my first kiss, too." I told him, a smile on my face.

"That was my first kiss, too. And it was amazing. Thank you, Mikasa." Kurapika told me, echoing my smile.

"So, are we boyfriend and girlfriend?" I asked him.

"Only if your comfortable with it" He told me, sweetly.

"Yep. I love you, Kurapika." I told him, the smile on my face growing.

"Ok, I accept your love. I love you back, Mikasa."

Then we kissed again.

(Bonus part.)
*Leo's POV*

I walked outside to go pee because the bathroom door is way to heavy when I saw...

Mikasa and Kurapika kissing!?!

I stiffled a chuckle and took out my phone.

'Best blackmail ever!' I thought to myself.
