Finding X the X Princess
*Gon's POV*
We drove for a bit until they dropped us off where the thought the Ant nest would be, using us as lab rats. Wing handing me a remote with a single button.
"Be safe out there, and press the button if you need our help at any time or if you find the nest." Wing said, ruffling Killua's and my hair.
I smiled and waved back at them. Killua gave a small salute to the white haired man. I marched ahead and Killua lagged behind a little bit.
"C'mon, Killua." I cheered, me being in my happy mood.
Killua nodded and picked up the pace, slowly.
We walked by this extravagant flower field with a whole bunch of colorful flowers there.
I closed his eyes, peacefully, kinda relaxing.
'If Kikumi were here, she would love this. ' I thought.
"Gon?" Killua asked, nudging me.
'She'd always loved flowers. Staring at them and smiling.' I thought, lost in it.
"Gon!" Killua shouted, grabbing my attention.
I saw a orange haired girl with orange fox ears and a swinging tail behind her.
I did a double take when I saw her, picking flowers so peacefully.
"Kikumi?!?" Killua and I asked at the same time, shouting.
She looked at us and her expression read scared and confused. She didn't even flinch.
Something was wrong.
'Kikumi always flinches when someone yells at her. Why isn't she flinching?!' I thought, worried and scared for her.
*Kikumi's POV*
I looked at these boys who seemingly know my name.
"How do you know my name?" I ask fearful, my tail fluffed out and my ears folded in.
Both of the boy's faces dropped.
"You don't remember us?" The one with the spiky black hair asked.
"No, who are you?!" I ask again, shouting slightly.
"No! We're Killua and Gon, your best friends!" The white haired one shouted at me. I didn't even flinch.
"I never recalled meeting you, I'm sorry. I'm the Ant Princess, Kikumi." I said, straightening out my flower crown.
At this, the black haired one sat down on the floor and curled up into a ball.
"Kikumi doesn't remember us. It's all our fault. She's forgotten us." He whispered over and over again.
"NO, you're our friend. You've been brainwashed. Come with us, and we'll fix you, Kikumi." The white haired one continued after seeing his friend curl up.
His body emitted electrical shocks that make me back up. It scared me, but I contained my composure. Somewhat.
"Colt!!" I yelled, hoping to be saved from these crazy boys.
The white haired one grabbed my arm, and at that point, Colt came from the sky.
"Colt, help me, these crazy boys think I'm their friend and want to take me away!" I said, tears starting to form in my eyes.
Colt looked at the situation and sighed. He grabbed my other arm and started walking.
"Now hold on one minute, bugbird. We have some questions for you!!" The white haired one, Killua, screamed.
I shook my arm free of Killua's grasp and put on my angry face.
"How dare you insult my friend and guard like that!!! He is a smart and kind person, and I won't stand for you making fun of him. I never want to see you two around here again, do I make myself clear!" I shouted, my voice kinda sore.
Killua shrank back like I slapped him.
"Kikumi, I..." Killua started.
The black haired one, Gon, was still curled up onto the floor.
"Let's go, Colt. But they have been given rights to not be killed for the next 24 hours." I said, giving them mercy, and glancing back at the two boys.
I hated seeing people cry, so I looked at Colt and smiled, softly. He seemingly read my mind and backed off a little.
I went up to Gon and helped him up. He was still crying, tears streaming down his tanish cheeks. I gave him a kind smile and leaned him in for a hug. He stopped crying, his face a look of shock.
"There there." I told him, running his back. "I'm sure you'll find your friend." I said to the boy, and at that point he began to cry even more.
"K-Kikumi...." He stuttered between sobs.
"That is my name, but I am not the friend you are looking for." I told him, and he backed out of the hug.
I glanced over to Killua to see him with tears in his eyes, refusing to spill them. I let go of Gon and gently walked over to Killua. I leaned in for a hug and he instantly grabbed me in an embrace. I rubbed his back in comfort as he continued to hug me.
"Kikumi, we will save you. Don't worry, and don't forget." Killua said, looking me in the eyes, his saphire blue eyes striking a memory inside of me.
"K-killua..?" I looked at him, remembering something about blue eyes.
"Yes, Kikumi, its me. Don't you remember me?" Killua pleaded.
I remember white hair like a cloud, dark hair like the midnight sky. I glanced at Gon and his hair matched the color.
"G-guys?" I asked, still not sure.
"K-Kikumi, its us. Its really us." Gon said, wiping the last of his tears.
"I-i I-i'm n-not y-your f-friend. I-i'm the princess. Why do you people look so familiar?!?" I shouted, clutching my head.
I screamed in pain, my head feeling like it was ripping open. I remember when I hit my head on the crate on the way here.
'Why was I in a crate? I was born here, right?' I thought, my mind spinning in a million directions.
"Kikumi." I faintly heard Gon, Killua, and Colt shout my head was pounding so much.
Then, as soon as the pain happened, it stopped.
And I didn't remember a thing.

*dramatic music*
I'm so mean, I know.
So, if some of you didn't realize, Kikumi has slowly been loosing her memory of Gon and Killua.
Its a trait that animals have that when seperated for long periods of time, they begin to forget their caretakers.
Along with someone's powers in play.
But who could it be?????
Find out in the next chapter.
